You have the pre reqs for your major plus the regular curriculum needed to be completed.

You won't fall behind. As long as you meet with your academic advisor they should be able to make sure you don't

As long as you plan out your schedule accordingly to make sure you hit all your required classes, you should be fine.

I assume you're doing general first year and only start majoring 2nd year onwards? My uni uses the same system. So if you're like my uni, you can apply majors every year. You might fall behind a lil bit, but you can catch up on upper years and apply major after 2nd year. And yeah, as someone mentioned above, talk to your academic advisor! They're seriously underused by the students. We pay shitload for their service, so use them! My uni's academic advisors are so helpful and kind.

Hey!! Freshmen here!! My seniors advised freshmen to complete all subjects with pre-requisites first. They said it'll be easier to catch up if by any chance you fail the subject or. After all the subjects with pre-requisites, focus on the subjects without pre-requisites. A mixture of both is great too

I am an academic advisor in real life. It is absolutely not bad. Just make sure you get them done so that by junior yr, you can really focus on your major.
