I combined all those little superstitions that will result in something romantic into one big ritual and I will perform it soon. Im not new to magic or supernatural stuff so Im not completely unconfident on how this might turn out. 1) The moon must be full. According to my culture, the full moon represents a young girl becoming a woman. The small, incomplete parts becoming full is the awakening of her feminine sexuality. Apparently, the full moon of October 2015 will be on the 27th-29th. 2) I must not look in a mirror for at least forty-eight hours before I start the ritual. When a person looks into a mirror, they associate who they are on the inside with a matter....how they look on the outside. To connect fully with yourself as a spirt and not as body or physically existing object, you must not look at a reflection of yourself in order to make your mind "forget" that you are a person. Hmmm....this one is going to be difficult to keep for 48 hours straight and if I accidentally catch a glimpse of myself in a mirror I might have to wait till November's full moon to try this ritual again. 3) I had to gather some objects for the set-up. Each object represents something in my culture. I did a test set-up today. I needed candles. Not a specific type so I just used those fancy candles my sister had around in her house. Candles because you needed something to reflect an element this person reminds you of. Berri reminds me of light and warmth so I went for candles. I could have picked any light source since my element of choice is light but I thought candles were the most "natural" option. A seashell to represent the eternal beauty of mermaids. Berri might lose her looks and beauty overtime but I will always see her as the pretty young girl I fell in love with and so to me, her beauty is eternal. That's why I choose mermaids (this object had to represent your feelings towards that person). I added some of those scented wooden stick thingies that I got from Lifestyle.com. They said on the label that they smell like pineapples and some other woodsy thing I forgot the name of. Not really for any reason but to just add a nice touch/scent. The last thing needed was something to represent myself and I got some soil from my backyard. I arranged everything like this for no particular reason, just liked the look of it better so it's actually not very important. I layed it out in my kitchen. 3) The last step is the chant. So far everything was positive here (love and beauty and blah blah). The chant was supposed to represent a negative aspect of your feelings towards that person because in my country it is believed that when you say something bad about someone you love, the person will turn up behind you. I was a little confused on what to say here and then realised that every since I fell in love with Berri, I started spending less time on myself and more time on her. Began going to the gym less often, stopped practicing my guitar as much because I'd rather spend my free time just sitting behind a computer screen and loving her so the phrase I went for was... "I lost myself to find you" You are supposed to repeat it as much as the number of years in that person's age. Luckily she is young so I don't have sit there and chant that like an idiot too many times LOL 4) LAST BUT MOST IMPORTANT, pick an editable item and place it where you want to touch that person. Since I want to touch her between the butt cheeks, I couldn't pick an item that was too rough. I went for honey....thought about using yoghurt but I remembered I had organic honey somewhere and I decided it would be good. So that's it! Since I want to touch her between the butt cheeks, I couldn't pick an item that was too rough.
