[PREDICTIONS] Will JYPE's next girl group, with the leftover members from Sixteen, be the next group/artist they debut after Twice?

So, i'm not really up on well known JYP trainees and obviously we don't know who could sign with jyp between now and then, especially with kpop star 5 coming soon. But i'm just hoping JYPE's top priority right now is the second gg, who was promised debuted from JYP himself in two years (though i do believe things will end up being pushed back, but hopefully not too long).

 

I also heard that there's supposed to be a second season of Sixteen next year, so clearly JYP is pouring a lot of money into these girls and praying for them to return it with future success. 

 

Also, another quick question, do you think they'll try to put Lily M in the second gg? or will she become a solo like Baek Ayeon?  or maybe even get put in a duo similar to 15&?

 

 

let's hurry and debut Somi, Natty, Eunsuh, Chae sisters, and Lily M!

the amount of stage presence and slayage she served on SIXTEEN during the last few episodes really made everyone look basic and kind of overshadowed all the girls

Yesss people got mad she didn't debut with Twice, but honestly, I think the very reason she didn't is because JYP knew she might overshadow the other girls. Not because the other girls aren't good, but because somi's stage presence was no joke.

They'll probably debut in 2017, since Miss A's contracts are expected to expire around that time (and I doubt that Suzy will still want to be in an idol group beyond that).

 

But JYP will probably debut another K-Pop Star act before then, someone from the upcoming season.

same, but we all know that things happen and people leave and screw up the master plan. if it wasn't for that one girl leaving 6mix, 6mix would have happened, JYPE's japanese group would have happened, Kids team ( Dahyun, Somi, Chaeyoung and some others) would have happened. It only took two people leaving to completely DESTROY all of these plans. I just hope things with the second gg can be set in stone asap. it's unfortunate that we lost Jiwon already but Lily M would make the perfect power vocal replacement if they intend to put her in the group.

That 2017 rumor is meaningless anyway. I mean JYPE isn't YG but remember 6Mix. For all we know Somi, Natty, Eunsuh or the Chae sisters could leave at any moment. For him to say they would debut in a future girl group is only talks. Look at Minyoung and Jiwon.
I want to be realist and don't want JYP to screw up because those girls are really talented. I seriously want them to be patient and debut a smaller group ala Miss A. There is no rush, Twice will debut next week, no rush.

Im one of the few that agreed with JYP with her looking amateurish....she kinda overdid the facial expressions and was looking like one of those white girls in those music Disney shows.....but she can work on that. 

 

Chaeryoung was the true star in the final...her rap bit was still the best part of show (along with NAYEON) 

 

Natty made the whole show uncomfortable... 

 

 

 

Also hopefully after the 20th we could put SIXTEEN to rest....

You might be intested in that, not sure if JYP's top priority is the girls or the boys Team, but now that Twice and Day6 are out of the way, it's one or the other. I know lots of people are interested in Somi, but her team is made of 2000 liners and younger. Whether she debutes in 2, 3 or even 4 years, she'll still be young. I just hope JYP will give them some appearances or CFs just like the girls had before Sixteen. Burying the Sixteen girls for a long period would be counter-productive imo.
(Btw the girls next to Somi are Ryujin and Sugyeong, 2 trainees who didn't participate in Sixteen)

Pretty sure if JYP is actively planning a second season of Sixteen, the girls at least have 4 year or renewed 2 year contracts atm. Yes the older girls, Minyoung and Jiwon, already left, so it's clear the younger ones have the intention of staying with the promise of debut within the next two to three years.

 

They need to find a main vocalist first in order for JYP's next girl group to debut in 2 years.

Lily M is there (though she might be a soloist, who knows what jyp might do with her at this point), and the possible Sixteen season two will introduce girls we haven't seen yet.
