So the World Championships 2015 for gymnastics will be held in Glasgow this year from 23 October to 1 November. This World Championships also serve as a qualification of Olympics next year.

I am curious if there are any gym fans here?

If there are, what are your predictions for this year's championships for both WAG and MAG?

i am exicted to see viktoria komova.. esp. after her injury. Now i am curious how will she doing? then... kyla Ross... if she can keep the high level n improve her difficulty. and of course simone biles n  kohei uchimura... if they can hold their spot.

Viktoria Komova is finally back. Saw her routines from Baku. She is doing ok for her comeback? It wasn't as good as before but she still did a good job. On a side note, Aliya Mustafina is out because of her injury.

Kyla Ross wasn't on the list of girls on Team USA I saw a few days ago? The list I saw has Simone Biles, Gabrielle Douglas, Brenna Dowell, Madison Kocian, Maggie Nichols, Aly Raisman, and MyKayla Skinner.

Simone Biles should be a lock for gold if she doesn't make any mistakes though. Personally hoping Larisa will medal.

Uchimura is going to have some challenge from Oleg Verniaiev, if he can finally put out all his routines during all around on this stage. I still hope to see Uchimura take a 6th win. So it is going to be interesting.

i saw it too. but her elegance is still there tho. damn! alina is out. it willl be hard for team Russia. i am curious what will teamChina bring to the table this year...

i checked it. yes she is not in the list since she was not present during the trial. so weird. i really wish to see her tho.

larisa can make it if her routine is perfect n simone make mistakes.

Ya it will be hard for Russia. Mustafina brings a lot to the team. Hopefully team Russia can pull through and do well this time.

Team China has quite some number of newbies on the nomination list. The final team isn't confirmed but a number of newbies are in the mix. I am curious how they will perform this year too.

Kyla did went for the selection camp but she was not selected for the final worlds team. I like her very clean form when she does her skills even with her low difficulty but she really needs to up her difficulty. As much as a lot of gym fans have been hating on how difficulty is affecting scores too much, d-score matters. With so many newbies coming up, being consistent and doing that minimum isn't really enough for her to secure a place to Rio 2016.
