This is one of the most incredible and stunning buildings I've ever had the privilege to step foot in. I don't think I've ever been so amazed in my life...

Yes! This building for the Dali museum is fairly new, it opened in 2011 and is faaaaar more impressive than the old concrete building it used to be housed in. I love going there.

Yesss!! I'm an annual passholder at the Kennedy Space Center. They offered a tour of the VAB building when they were getting the Space Shuttles ready for their permanent homes. I got to go in there when they were housing Space Shuttle Atlantis and Space Shuttle Endeavour (they looked like ants in a house and we looked like idk what). Pictures do it NO justice. NONE!! The building is immense, I can't even explain. Each one of the stripes in that flag is as wide as a car lane (9ft wide), if that puts things into perspective. I remember just being so shocked and amazed by the whole thing that I was shaking and teary eyed the whole 20 minutes I was in there. LOL

one that left a lot of impression on me was the jewish museum in berlin by daniel libeskind. it's a building that emphasises experience, and showed how space can be used to tell a story. there's a video explaining the architecture that you can watch

ahh I'm so jealous! i've seen tons of pictures online and i've always wanted to go there :rlytearpls:  :rlytearpls: it really must have felt amazing to have been able to see the shuttles up close  :rlytearpls:

it's such a pity the vab is off-limits to visitors now though D: maybe one day they'll open the building for public tours again! (or maybe one day i'll eventually enter the space industry, heh heh)
