SarahChoi 2,382 Posted October 13, 2015 Share Posted October 13, 2015 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ar0P8gDOhU This is what distinguishes good vocalists from real singers, not only how good your technic is but the capacity of pouring feelings through a song, that's why I love to hear artists like Taeyeon or Jonghyun because while they are singing they pour their feelings, their vulnerabilities and that connects them to the public in the most beautiful connection music can make. It makes me really sad when people called them overrated and don't understand their biggest talent it's to capture and pour emotions from/to the public. Maybe because I'm portuguese and we're known for being sentimental that's the most important thing to me. I don't even know if I expressed myself well enough to be understood... I'm Italian and the great singers in the history of my country are not only great vocalists, but performers able to convey strong emotions with their voice and their charisma. Anyone can sing well, but only few are lucky enough to be born with the "soul" of a real singer. You can have a great voice, but if you don't have a Soul when you sing you're no different from a "robot". A great singer is not only voice but also feelings, empathy, emotion... These are things with which you're born and that nobody can teach or learn... And these two are definitely born to be Great singers and enchant people ! Domenico Modugno, who sang "Nel blu dipinto di blu" (Volare) has captivated audiences thanks to the emotion that he was able to convey. When he opened his arms and sang laughingly "volare" Italy was enchanted and fell in love.
