It's like Salvador Dali's adorable granddaughters bust loose from their factory zombie jobs and go wild (or as wild as SM can be...) The surrealist would feel right at home, I'm sure, in this ecstatic video, celebrating sublime chaos in the most controlled of atmospheres (a factory!) But with their trademark rainbow colors (I think we finally have a real k-pop descendant of orange caramel!) From the beginning they're throwing down a taunting chant of "dumb dumb dumb dum dum dum", skewering our industrial worldview, but in the most delightful way. The girls are radiant dancing queens, and then suddenly Pippi Longstocking clones, reimagined by a deranged psycho, dangerously close to grabbing, twisting, tearing machines. But it's all good: in two moments toward the end of the video, we see the delirious, beautiful chaos, where everything is thrown up in the air, everything magically torn asunder, in blissful slow motion.
