Quite informative thread! Sometimes I forget that the average Korean doesn't look anything like the celebrities XD Does anyone look at this tumblr? http://kpsurgery.tumblr.com/ It's a Korean PS paradise, but it's mostly just regular people, not celebrities.

 

I think the best way to tell if a Korean got a nose job is to look from the side. East and South Asian's have little to no nose bridge, and transporting cartilage from the ears to the nose bridge makes what one would call a "western" nose bridge. It's a pretty popular procedure done in Korea, and it heals pretty fast.

i didnt even know this was naeun   i remember people saying she got a nose job right when wgm started...so i thought she was natural and thats why people were shocked

For the first picture her nose doesn't look natural on the bottom right one. The curve/tip doesn't look east Asian. I think she might have done some minor work on her tip. Not sure about it though.

 

As for the bottom two pictures I recognize Sooyoung, are the other idols too? One of them looks a bit like the maknae.

Seohyun's nose shape is very organic. Straight but not too straight, high but not very high, slighty upturned and rounded, not a particularly pointy tip. 

 

Yuri, Dongwoon, Gyuri, Han Ga In's noses are also natural but compared to Seohyun's they've even less East Asian looking.

Sooyoung definitely had a nose job, idk how many, but sometimes her nose looks like Voldemort's lol.

 

As for Taemin, I think it's the eye contacts that make him look unnatural in that photo. I wish the whole blue contacts trend would die.

 

What do you guys think of GD? I think he had a nose job and he did something to his chin.

His chin is really long now, there's not denying he did something, I just don't know what.

 

 

 

I think he is just aging, baby fat is gone now, but i don't think he has PS.

 

I think f(x) is all natural, aside from Sulli's possible lipo.

why do people find it so hard to believe that  some male idols had botox injections or plastic surgery? I don't know his face has always looked weird to me.

why do people find it so hard to believe that some male idols never had botox or plastic surgery? it's just that "looking weird" isn't a valid enough reason to accuse someone of injections. besides, it simply looks like his features are getting more masculine and defined, just like Jonghyun's did. his nosejob, though, is something most people agree on.

Yeah it's an interesting (and disturbing) blog lol. I think everyone should take what they say about idols with a grain of salt though, it's just speculation, just like this thread. They've gotten many things wrong, although they have caught things that most people didn't.

Yea true. Some of those people really needed it though..I can't imagine being able to talk correctly with some of the jaws I've seen on there. They said BoA had a jaw surgery and double eyelid(A long time ago) before she came back with "Only One". I wouldn't be surprised if she did plus other things, but we will never really know for sure unless the idols say so. I can't blame people for talking about it though...I live in a big Korean populated place in the west, and I haven't seen one with a "V-chin", pointy nose or high nose bridge before. I have seen some double eyelids, but it could be tape or glue as well. Regardless, they all have a "Korean" look, so of course when I see certain kpop idols, they make me raise an eyebrow lol.

 

For Ayumi Hamasaki, it does look like she had a nose job, but I think her eyes look the same since she was a kid. They were always pretty big and had double eyelids unless she smiles. I'm not sure about her jaw...it always seemed kind of square to me. She is getting older so maybe we'll see some surgeries in the future XD

I think that may be the route she took instead of getting an actual jaw shave, because her jaw bone is the same. Of course botox wears off, and when she gains weight on her face the effect lessens.

  perhaps that first shot to be honest I wouldn't be able to tell what he chin looks light because of the lighting, shadows, and distance away.

 

For here just compare thier Korean work to thier japanese work; watch both Gee's, RDR, and OH...there is a definite change in her chin and the lower half seems a bit slimmer from looking at her. Maybe like she said she gets bloated so that is why we get what appears to be a square face, but in all honesty its not really squaure its just really round.

Speaking of f(x) potential surgery, did Powerhouse Luna get anything on her face done? I have seen her twin [and mother?] and they don't look alike. They could just be fraternal [i have no idea] and it could be the sister who got something done [i don't think so.....??] but if they are identical, then something definitely isn't right.

About Bom and her forever changing face: when one gets work done on their face they haver to constantly tweak it and that's probably why she looks slightly different every time she gets work done. Also her surgeon sucks.

  lol I don't know about 3 nose jobs but yeah she did have 1 done predebut to reduce the bulbous-like tip of her nose, after debut she made her nose more pointed and got her bridge done (which I don't know about this one since it might just be more notiable because of reducing her tip and raising it)

Jaw and nose job.

 

 

Using a photo from a magazine probably isn't your best best to judge if someone's had plastic surgery, considering the amount of editing they do to those photos. Plus the fact that her head is angled and not forward facing makes her jaw look slimmer. Photos taken from above view make your jaw look slimmer too.

She also lost weight before she debuted and also in between promotions, so her face would be slimmer than it was when she was in school.

Gain's admitted to getting eyelid injections to make her eyes appear larger, but she's never admitted to full on surgery. But the BEG members are very open about their procedures.

Does anyone know how cheap certain procedures are in SK, generally?  Like everyone who gets the eyelid surgery, since it's so common. XD  Oddly, my sister (who is not korean... nor am I...) went to teach English in SK for a couple of years and did not get eyelid surgery there.  And then she came back and got it done in NYC. XD;;  But I forget how much she said it cost... a couple/few thousand USD, I guess.

Then after she debuted, she got another nose job [specifically the bridge] and something else to her eyes [injections?]. Also got her jaw line done.

 

 

Then again, she got her nose and eyes done [2010] but if you noticed, her eyes and nose were done unevenly and the ridge is kinda screwy. And whatever injections she got on her cheeks were done badly because her face has become more puffier [when her face was slimmed down from the jawline surgery]. 

 

 

Hm... but it seems like her eyes and the way her nose and mouth "interact" wasn't really even beforehand, anyway?  Especially when she's smiling.  I guess a good surgeon might correct that anyway, but everyone assumes she doesn't have one. >.>

 

B.A.P's Zelo got his eyes and nose done. His biggest insecurity [as of now] is his chin, so I wouldn't be surprised if sometime in the future, he got his jaw line fixed. 

 

I heard the thing about his chin was a joke. XD  He stopped wearing the bib, you know!

 

If he really does have a complex, I hope he doesn't bother.  I can't see what is wrong with his jawline anyway. >.>

 

I always thought SISTAR's Dasom was a natural beauty.... Thought all those accounts of netizens who said she was less than average back in high school andthat she was  a complete bitch were all lies. 

 

What can one do about a double chin, btw?  She totally has one (not that it's extremely prominent or anything) even though she is skinny as hell.

 

The only way to know for sure and have a really good proof that they did or didn't get surgery is to get an X-ray of their skull. But even some companies would use fake Xray results just to show their products are real.

Very confused... why would anyone be able to get their hands on a celebs skull xray/why would the plastic surgery clinic give out such a thing?  If they did, and they actually provided the surgery, wouldn't they lose business? >.>  If they did, and it's fake, and they didn't provide the surgery (assuming there was any surgery) wouldn't they get sued???

mmmm..well I'm not an expert so take everything I say with a grain of salt,it's just that I've seen 3 stages of her nose..don't know exactly how to explain with words because my english is a bit bleah   pratically the first was before debut (as monotrack said) to reduce the tip of her nose (and I think she fixed also a bit the bridge)..the second was after gee/genie (the bridge--> her nose became more straight?) and the third in early 2012 (tip) you can see it especially when she smiles
