Weight loss and Starship go together like hand in glove. Its on gotten worse. IVE has it worse than WJSN, but its hard now to recall that WJSN was once praised for their "healthy" bodies at debut (particularly Cheng Xiao, who had the kind of athlete's body one needs for all the tumbling she was trained in) and even Yeonjung was clearly did not lose too much weight during IOI (for which she was disparaged by anti-s) or  the "Secret" or "I Wish" eras. Now its totally different. 

I wonder if that is on purpose? Dawon is one of the best girl group Kpop vocalists of her generation IMO (she was even acknowledged for her singing talents during KopStar before she was a trainee) and she has a unique color to her voice that even Yeonjung does not have. But she doesn't stand out in terms of looks (to the point in the early days many confused Dawon and Luda interchangeably). Being compared to Sooyoung (who would be a visual in any group outside SNSD) is not the worst fate.

Ironically, I remember that the SISTAR members (who I know have done procedures, even admittedly so), once said Starship brass discouraged them from getting plastic surgery as a company policy.

And now look where we are - to the point they have an "It" girl in Wonyoung as the centerpiece of their rising GG. who was admired for her visuals by young and old fans spanning two separate girl groups (and came in first - at 14 - in P48 because of it) and they made (or at least encouraged) to get more procedures while still a minor. 

actually I find Dawon one of the prettiest member. She looks like a model.

Unless the photographer went it and photoshopped the hell out of her nose in the 2nd pic, it's projecting differently, isn't it? 

Also, I don't really keep up with idols' weight loss/gain journeys so I have no idea if she's got slimmer as of recently but her face is looking thinner too, which makes the changes even more apparent. If you do see any changes, of course

Taeyeon need to have kept her buccal fats so she would still look young in her 30s. Her hollowing is very visible right now. I'm still depressedabout her having her jaw shaved. but her jaw shave is unique ngl. She kept the mandible angled, but now that she's lost weight, it appears weak.

Obviously there are angles, optics illusion, weight and other factors that may contribute to that change but her face used to be very square. Now it's longer vertically, narrower at the bottom and overall it's more oval. And I don't think botox and maybe some buccal fat removal could make such a difference? Question mark?
