Not sure if you guys can see this but does the bridge of his nose seems higher and almost wider. I can't find many pictures of him predebut where we see him side profile clearly. But after debut, his nose bridge is almost ridiculously high (I thought he was mixed at first). It looks like a similar kind of implant to Heeseung's.

When he debuted his cheeks were so round, full and chubby but he wasn't like that pre-debut (and there is a lot of pre-debut content from ASTRO). For their 2nd comeback with Breathless in 2016 his face looked more chiseled... What happened?

But then here's Eunwoo on the same year, around June for ASTRO's 2nd comeback:

 

He never looked overweight or anything like that to me. Did he get buccal fat removal? Can you lose that much fat in your face just by losing weight in like 3 months? I don't think idols loose THAT much weight with them already being thin. Was it another non-invasive procedure? Is it botox? Am I tripping? LOL. 

But his teeth do look different. Could they be veneers? I really don't know anything about veneers but it looks like a similar procedure. His teeth look a bit longer but still real and we are able to see more of his smile. This did wonders for that "out of the world" look that he's know for. 

This is from 2017. For me, his best look/era so far.

He seemed to get a bit more muscular on this year but I think it's obvious that he gets fillers, which could add to the shape of his face.

All in all, I think he doesn't look drastically different.

In my mind ASTRO does belong in the same category as SVT, (similar debut dates) the handsome boy-next-door kinda visuals, with a few very handsome members thrown in, but overall very diversified in terms of faces.

As for Eunwoo I think we established a few pages back that he's currently getting botox done, or fillers. But I think the changes could also be attributed to the weight gain/muscle gain. It could be a combination. He definitely was skinnier at debut after all. 

I'm not sure about any other invasive procedure he might have done. He's always looked pretty naturally handsome although right now he's looking a little more actor-handsome if you know what I mean. Who knows if he ever did anything before debut to refine his looks. If he did kudos to the surgeon though, he never overdone it. (the deep double eyelids are a little sus tbh)

i doubt she will she is one of the most liked member's of Twice, even internet comments, while like every celebrity has some mean comments here and there, she is mostly seen positively.

Yes. He seems to already have a tallish nose bridge before but now it's a lot more obvious.

I agree. His nose looks higher in profile now. It projects out more, especially around the tip area.

Damn Bighit left no one untouched. I have a feeling they're gonna do something to Jungwon's nose next. Why do they hate normal looking noses? have they not learn their lesson with how ungodly Taehyun's and Heeseung's noses turned out?

i have been a lurker on this thread for months and i finally decided to make an account because i have something i'm confused about:

i've never had surgery but i have marks on the bottom of my nostrils that look like it, i always used those marks to confirm wether an idol had a nose job or not but now that i see them on me i'm very f*cking confused i don't remember having alarplasty... somebody help

oh do you mind sending a photo of your nose? you dont have to show your face you can cut it to show only nostrils if you want

otherwise i sometimes scar my nose corners due to my nails so, it might be something like that as well, our commentary is not necessarily always right too, afterall even trained surgeons sometimes can not notice all surgery

It depends on the placement of those marks and the visibility of it. For people who have had surgery, there marks are quite prominent and can appear to look red (like scars) in some angles.

I'm so glad they left their eyes untouched at least...I think Wonie fits the Korean standards almost entirely so I don't think so.

The thing is alarplasty scars tend to look shiny as well as red like this or this. I often get red marks under my nose but they are pretty clearly not alarplasty scars rather just irritation of the skin. I can't speak for anyone else's methods, but I have a little checklist when it comes to alarplasty scars. If I see a mark around the rim of the nostril that seems suspicious, I first check to see if its visible in multiple other photos (I also like to try to find instances where the marks look red and instances where they look shiny to make sure they aren't just makeup or irritated skin). If they pass this test, I next check predebut photos for two reasons.

One: to make sure that what I think is an alarplasty scar hasn't been there since childhood/adolescence.

Two: to see if I there was actually any visible difference in the width of the nose. (Even if extremely subtle).

I would only assume someone had an alarplasty if they checked all of these boxes.

Lol it's ok, rather than bumps search for clear lines, it can be pink it can be slightly shinier than surrounding skin usually these two are clear signs

i said marks but its more like a shiny dent that i have, (exactly like the pic you showed) its permanent and clearly not scratched or irritated that's where my confusion comes from, i thought it was impossible to have it naturally so i never inspected predebut pics and just assumed they had alarplasty done

anyway the cheklist makes a lot of sense and i'll definitly use it next time thank you

At first I couldn't pinpoint what he did exactly. The only thing I saw was that his nose was smaller & narrower. But now that I have looked at it. It seems he had a tip reduction & brought in his nostrils. I think he also gotten a nose implant. The overall shape of his nose hasn't changed but it's smaller. 

And base on his predebut pics I think he got it before I-Land.

Great observation. He still looks similar to predebut but with a more touched up vibe. So now we got 5/7 members with nose jobs. I think that’s one of the highest percentage in kpop.

I don't know about one of the highest percentages in Kpop, nose jobs seem to be pretty common, especially considering that there are multiple different procedures and things you can do to your nose to change it, some being subtle changes that are hard to spot

You're right. It's just that all of Enhypen's work is glaringly obvious. I've never seen a kpop group before where I can instantly tell most of the members had work done even without looking at their predebut pictures (Aespa is an exception here). Usually you would have one or two member with obvious work done but none are on Enhypen's level. 

I think its also to do with the type of implant/nose shape they go for. Enha's noses are all so unnatural looking and obvious. For example, if I never saw 127's JH and DY's predebut picture, I would probably think their noses are natural. that has never happened to me with Enhypen. I could tell from first glance that Heeseung's and Sunghoon's noses are "plastic". 

It's like BigHit wants everyone to know that they invest in their idols

I'm counting older groups in this because the younger members are the same age as the members in the newer groups now. (i'm doing noses because that seems the most common type of surgery apart from the eyes but that can be debated whether eyelid surgery is a big deal or not). 

 Would you say that the newer gen have more/less surgery compared to the older gen? I've seen this questioned asked before and people always say that the newer gen are more natural (they usually always bring up Girls Generation as an example) but I'm not sure this is true. I think the surgeons are just getting better and the work done looks less obvious.

I would say newer gen has more work. Old kpop idols would change few features, now idols get full on new faces, thats why features fit better together and thats why its harder to see. Kind of like something we talked before, solely getting nose job would look more fake than getting all of your face

I would say that newer gen on average probs do more work. The difference is the work is done to a higher standard as you say, but also newer gen seem to be doing procedures in one go (often predebut), but more of them, compared to individuals in older gen groups who would be seen in each new comeback with a fairly obvious new nose or distinct new chin/jaw. Ofc there are exceptions where newer gen idols seem to do this too, but bc the work is to a higher standard it's more likely to go under the radar
