compare these with the last pic OP posted (with red hair).

her chin looks weak but it's not jarring - it seems like it's how her natural chin is. there are predebut pictures of her and the balance is still alright (i won't share her predebut photos from when she was a model since she said she's uncomfortable with people sharing them, you can look them up).

my question is - are those overboard fillers making her cheeks so huge that they make her chin look even smaller and weaker? or did she do something to it? or both?? i'm confused

This is just my take, which truly isn't based on anything, but I feel like her weak chin/jaw is natural. I think the fillers just emphasize it because the visual weight in her face gets concentrated around her cheeks, where her face is fullest (and also where they seem to stick the fillers), and then her chin gets de-emphasized even more.

Not that I'm advocating for this, but it makes me wonder what Vivi would look like if she had gotten the dorito chin implant instead of Yves lmao. I'm almost surprised they didn't do anything to her chin. I guess there's the possibility that she did already get work done on it, and now her face can't support a chin implant/filler?

Or maybe they/she just decided there was no work necessary on her chin. That's a sane conclusion to come to.

I think it's pretty much common knowledge at this point that Vivi is older than her "official" age, so I imagine that's why they're so eager to give her all those fillers. It makes me feel really bad for her. Imagine being a girl as cute as Vivi and still having this looming feeling that you need to "keep up" with your younger groupmates' faces or else you'll receive hate...

Unpopular opinion it looks like-- while I don't like jaw shaves on principle (it's dangerous and unnecessary), I do think it's actually quite pretty on Sohye. She looks like a fairy to me...

I thought she was very very pretty to begin with so idk if I'd necessarily call it an improvement, but I don't find it disharmonious at all. The tough truth is that it'll probably help her career as an actress.

I really hope she doesn't touch anything else though, she should stay like this forever

Off topic- but it would be great if we got into the habit of deleting pics from quotes in this thread because it's so image heavy. I don't know how many of you guys use OH on browser but this page is INCREDIBLY long because of the quotes It's no one's fault, I just wanted to point it out as a courtesy thing. abra's post earlier is a great example of a quote with the images deleted!

Calling it now, JooE's not gonna look THAT different when we finally see her from a normal angle. None of those pics are from a normal angle honestly.

...It is pretty eerie how much she looks like Yeonwoo in that last pic though. Oh lordy. Like if you told me that was Yeonwoo with lip and face fillers I'd probably believe you.

Here is a compilation of her photos

 

She looks very similar to her predebut photos to me. I see no difference in her eyes and nose that couldn't be explained by typical idol makeup. But I could be wrong.

But I am 99.9% sure she has veneers. Her teeth big and white and perfectly straight- and rather prominent.

 

It's totally possible for a person to naturally have really great teeth, but every once in a while they look ever so slightly uncanny on Seola. Since they are SO straight and perfect, I'm putting my bet on them being veneers.

She probably uses fillers in her face too, like most idols.

She's also lost a lot of weight since debut (actually kind of a concerning amount) so that's changed her features too.

OMG I've been trying to figure out what Rachel changed for so long.

That second pic is so uncanny, I don't know how I didn't recognize the difference being her nose. It makes her face look wider than it is, I think.

Eunchae has always has a receded lower jaw. Sometimes you can't tell and sometimes you can. But I think this is the efforts of hiding it and is less likely to be a physical change (though, incidentally, she has done lip fillers I'm 99% sure). But that video isn't loading in high quality for me so I can't make a clear assessment from it... but tbh I find it kind of unlikely that it would be somehow receding more, since it normally seems like they/Eunchae is trying to bring her jaw more forward (either physically with orthodontic or surgical work, or just visually)

Idk, all her features pretty much look the same? There's pretty much a 100% chance she's done some fillers but I don't see any shape changes.

What I DO see is a massive difference in her makeup holy shit. She's got contacts, her eyesbrows are a lighter color than they've ever been, I think they're reshaped a little too? Her eyeliner is completely different (much higher than usual), she's even got contouring on

Not to mention her hair is extremely different from that dark baby-bangs bob we saw her with for the longest time.

Honestly my take is that it's mostly the hair and makeup! It's super different and I can't see any definite changes in her facial features

She (has) had a chin implant. Probably what the scar is from. And she's gotten lots of fillers in general.

Hot take but I don't think Choa looks that different.

Sure she looks super different without the iconic blonde hair she had as an idol, but when I look at her face alone I still see Choa for sure.

I think she might have done her nose though. It's the middle of her face (instead of her eyes) that's most ambiguous to me.

Multiple members of Fromis have had blue hair. If you don't even know their names or their faces, who are you to be asserting that they've had plastic surgery?

There nothing wrong with Dahyun & Nayeon as for am concerned. Jeongyeon does look different here but in the other teaser photo she looks normal

 

 

When I compare it to these pics, her jaw seems like it's less squared off in that photo.

Hyojung has always had a sharp V-line.

Predebut:

I'm not sure if she actually did something to her chin or if it's just weight loss, but her chin has looked that sharp since at least Liar Liar (2016)

What about earlier?

Well, here's a Closer-era fansign pic

You can see that her chin is very sharp. But it does also look slightly flatter (from this angle) than it looks these days. Which does seem to point towards fillers, but I'm not certain. It could be general chubbiness in her face that changes her look because she did lose a significant amount of weight for Liar Liar and onwards.

This is also Closer era:

You can see she's got a bit more chubbiness in her face here, but you can still see the sharp chin underneath. This is why I think she hasn't had an implant. Also I want to point out that so far we've been looking at photos where she's smiling, which pushes her chin out. When her expressions are more relaxed, her chin doesn't show as dramatically.

We can still go back a little bit farther though for more examples.

Cupid era! So this is debut Hyojung. Her chin definitely appears more ambiguous during this era, but I think this is another great clip where you can see her chin structure really well. Her chin still has a very sharp feeling, and when she smiles you can see how pointed it is.

For one last comparison, let's jump forward to 2020 and their last comeback.

It really just pops out of nowhere.

Anyway, bottom line is that the V-line has always been there. But I'm not refuting the possibility that she got fillers, because as I mentioned earlier her chin seems to have more dimension these days when viewed from the side.

But I really don't think she got an implant. I think even before her weight loss her chin structure was quite visible. If she did get fillers, it seems that it was more to add dimension to her profile rather than make her chin more pronounced.

That's just my take

Also just as a side note, when I say "chubbiness" it's because I'm looking for a more flattering word than "fat"... I want to be clear that I'm not calling her "chubby" because she was never chubby at all lol she's just much thinner than she was a few years ago.

As far as natural idols go, I'm pretty sure Lovelyz' Jisoo hasn't gotten any work done.

I was watching some old stages and it just kinda occurred to me. I've always felt like her teeth felt "prominent" in her face even though they're really nice looking. That's usually what clues me in on veneers. But I couldn't find anything decisive from a quick google search

I definitely feel like those blue contacts and the ethereal makeup is hardcore contributing to the "uncanny" look of the girls in all this promo stuff.

My personal prediction is that once we start seeing Ningning in more casual makeup and no contacts, everyone's going to go Oh Okay and just see her as a pretty SM girl and not a plastic surgery forensic case lol

Like I'm not denying that she got work done, but I feel like the uncanny look is exaggerated by the styling if that makes sense.
