I know quite a number of male Japanese celebs knetz find gorgeous honestly, they are called beautiful rather than handsome, so if a company does debut an idol like that, he would be popular. But I guess such type is rare on SK? Because I cannot remember any male idol that androgynously beautiful minus Jeonghan and Ren. Japanese celebs knetz find pretty are tho; Jin Akanishi, Chiba Yudai, Yamazaki Kento and Sota Fukushi.

Otherwise I find Tori Matsuzaka gorgeous

 

these people would all do amazing at Korea but like i said I dont think Korea really has this type alot??? At least for males?? which is interesting 

 

for ggs, there is alot of examples already, but i always felt like despite everything they pulled less crowd than a male androgonous beauty. Which is interesting, but I do think if SM wants they can find a female Jaejoong lookalike, but I dont think they want that because from what i see they choose to not have any androgynous idols for any of their recent groups (male or female). I guess they dont magnet to crowd like at the past. I dont see Jaejoong at all at Hyuna and Jimin tbh, even when Jaejoong got older, he is still kind of prettier than both rip 

1)Looks wise maybe but aura-wise Taeyong has a different unique vibe. Also Taeyong has more of a slimmer/skinnier frame than him lol.

2) TBH I find most of Aespa bar Giselle pretty uninteresting though I admit I have a soft corner for Winter lol. Maybe a personal observation, but I have seen that male androgynous stars are usually one of the better looking guys of the team objectively and are basically one of the aesthetically pleasing ones while the members who are chosen to be androgynous are usually one of the less attractive ones objectively and even if they are not so, they will eventually be seen such. Also, a lot of people do have a kink in seeing men taking on roles of women(including many men themselves) because men are demonised for taking on aspects of femininity while it is more acceptable for women to be masculine to certain degree.(though not in entertainment industry as a whole). There is a market for this Monty Python esque nonsense among both men and women (though I think it is definitely more popular among men).

I think Amber was definitely a testing ground for androgynous female idols and if she had been more acceptable, there probably would have been more of that sort and maybe even a compulsory trope. 

Personally I don't think Amber's male lookalikes are very attractive lookswise beyond a point(personally see Jeno as one of the least attractive NCT members) and somehow that particular face type translates even worse on women.

So I kinda wanted to know how a girl who looks like Jaejoong would translate among the girl group crowd(personally have shown my male friends IRL photos of Jaejoong and Taeyong faceapps and all of them rated those as pretty but they also didn't think AOA Jimin and Hyuna as facially attractive). As for styling I would personally want to go for a more Japanese Ikemen styling that TVXQ debuted with lmaoo(but that's also because I believe Jaejoong looked the best in it lol and I personally like Ikemen styling so) 

3) I think some older Kpop fans commented on JJ'S resemblance with Jimin and Hyuna and I also personally see them though it is not as obvious as Moonbyul and Xiumin though.

You've to be familiar with the faces and be hypersensitive about facial feature similarity and squint to see it 

(Probably my hobby of seeing resemblance between People helps lol)

Dissapointed to find out Sungchan isn't actually natural. Well, even the face he was hyped to be the lookalike of isn't natural himself (Jaejoong). The differences between before and after pictures of both of them are like night and day. I shouldn't have expected stunning faces like theirs naturally exist when it's actually man-made. They only exist through Dr.Kim's skills at his clinic situated near SM building.

Speaking of Jaejoong's face, I would love to get to know who his ps surgeon. Probably the best work in Korea. Jaejoong literally went from 0 to a . His ps surgeon should be awarded as the best ps surgeon in Korea of all time.

Hongjoong uses some sort of nose peg though. So I'm not sure how much it is surgery or just using that to make his nose sharper.

Her face has changed since 2018 or so on. I like her face back in 2015-2018. She use to have a flat nose before, her face was round, still is off with her eyes & her face seem bloated. She seem have fillers.

He looked like an uglier version of Taemin earlier.

Did something on his lips if I'm not wrong? That's the majorest change I see in his before and after pics.

Else Eyelid,nose,jaw/cheekbone(other surgeries he's believed to have) didn't help that drastically.

Alright if it's peg it's logical then but it's odd, it gives him a more ps vibe than I expected. Still it explains why his nose didn't changed in shape but nostrils moved lol

I do think he does front chin fillers tho, one of the things I hate most.

Otherwise I think they go heavy at eye make up with him?? Somehow at every pic his eyes looks different to me o.o

Surprisingly at his debut, only thing he got done is his eyes. Jaejoong, is quite a natural beauty otherwise lol

I believe he got fat reduction at jaw area, and fillers at nose afterwards as well but yeah, he is still quite more natural than Sungchan. 

At least around the SM era. Can't comment afterwards

I was commenting from his recent photos so yeah.

Checked his debut MV though.

I think there a lot of the "changes" come from weight training not necessarily surgery(he was a chubby kid before I see?)

 I feel like most of the work He had post leaving SM is basically maintenance work like fillers +makeup which make him look more ethereal+unnatural(I guess that's his image as well?)

 

Imo, a big reason Sungchan probably got the surgeries is because while he was an attractive kid in childhood- puberty probably took away a lot of the childhood good looks he had and they decided to have plastic surgery and on the way they either decided to give him JJ's face or the results came out like that on their own.

He looked quite idol-like in childhood but now looks like your average East Asian hikikomori.

You might be right, I think he also lost too much weight at that era, which can thin out his face. I guess only %100 is his eyes at that era minus possible fillers.

Not denying Jaejoong has had work done, but I actually think he's more natural than most people project him to be.

It does look so uncomfortable. Is it possible to achieve the same effect with plastic surgery? I wonder why Hongjoong doesn't get his nose done instead of using the nose peg.

I think Cheol has them for Fallin Flower MV but he has such a distinctive nose shape it's barely noticeable lol

That's the thing.

I have a feeling that if he's really using this 24/7 then it could potentially be because he (or whoever decides that a certain idol needs ps) wants to have this type of nose but perhaps going under the knife would give a more dramatic (and potentially undesirable?) result and not the more natural looking change that the nose peg gives.

So for now he's probably either going to keep using it or resort to fillers later on.

 

(Also that article kinda scared me a little since I've used this type of nose peg before and never really thought twice about the potential dangers of it lol)

I'm not sure if he wears it all the time tbh. Maybe it's kinda like eyelid tape and he wears it sometimes? 

I feel like here it looks less pointy. I wonder what other kinds of contraptions idols use.
