I was watching some clips of The Beauty Inside (I've never seen it and his character looks interesting in the drama). His face looks fuller...

 

 

 

Apparently he gained some weight for the role but his face looks odd. I may be wrong of course.

 

What do you guys think?

 

Also, his name is Jaehyun and his mannerisms are similar to NCT Jaehyun's lol

 

gained weight my ass! no offense lol. but look at his neck. it's the same. if he gained enough weight to widen his face so noticeably, his neck would look different.

 

i'm almost completely certain it's just fillers. that said, they look really good, in my opinion at least.

honestly i like the lip lifting trend...

 

i had a total epiphany one day while looking at Suzy's face. I realized that her lifted lip corners are a huge part of why she looks attractive. She always has a pleasant expression, like she's slightly smiling. Seriously, have you ever seen a picture of Suzy where she looks like she's in a bad mood?

She always looks cute and pleasant. I think that's why she's so popular.

 

I swear to god the lip corners are a huge part of it. I totally understand why people get it done.

 

the problem is that a lot of times... it's overdone...

I wonder if it's hard to control or if people just get dramatic results because they think it looks good

a lot of phone cameras tend to warp the edges of photos a little bit. honestly, if you see a face around the edge of a photo and the face shape is unusual only in that picture, it's pretty likely that it's just the camera. it's pretty noticeable in group selfies where the person on the edge of the screen kind of looks like they're getting sucked away haha

 

edit: not that i'm guaranteeing that's what's going on here, but that's what i suspect at least.

Sooyoung's tooth extraction is a little weird. I guess it's cause I already found her really really really gorgeous. and the photo where you can see the missing tooth is a little jarring?

 

also I have uneven eyelids too except one eye is a double eyelid and one is a triple eyelid haha

 

but I'm glad she got something like that done instead of major plastic surgery (I think she's gotten a little other stuff done because... well, 8/9 soshi members have but I couldn't tell you what sooyoung did in particular)

I think for the eyes it's just makeup. But the second pic does make me suspect her nose has changed. Can't tell from the first pic though because it's a selfie probably with a filter

Kyungwon and Yebin's foreheads look strange to me. I'm not saying forehead implants, but I do have a small suspicion.

However, she did lose a lot of weight (very obvious when you compare her figure in IOI to some of WJSN's comebacks, starting with SMSY and La La Love) and got a bunch of fillers in her face. I'm certain this is the reason her face looks so long (her chin in latest MV reminds me of Chungha tbh lol)

I agree, it looks like they tried to add definition to the sides of the nose, the bridge looks the same. that's what I was trying to illustrate with those pics haha, I just picked a photo that shows the side of her nose. I agree the general shape is the same.

Nayoung's face change looks like weight loss to me because the only difference I see is that her face is much slimmer- but she doesn't look like she got her jaw shaved or anything just like her cheeks are gone.

But it's confusing because she was already really thin... but at the same time she definitely got thinner. But did she even have enough weight to lose to change her face?

Honestly I think her stiff expression is not really helping in that photo.

My personal take:

yes on lip fillers, no on jaw shave.

To me, it looks like her lips are puffed up which makes her chin look smaller (the larger your features are, the smaller your face looks) but I don't think I see any changes in her jaw shape.

BUT her face does look kind of bloated to me in general recently. I think maaaybe what they did was give her fillers in her cheeks and chin so that her chin comes forward more, in an attempt to make it look shorter/smaller (in comparison to the "thickness" of it (don't know a better word choice lol) and her cheeks). Really don't think she actually shaved her jaw though.

also, off topic, but she's so damn cute in that Crush teaser photo. gosh.

It's hard to pinpoint when she started using lip fillers because her makeup has also changed. you can see in cupid she's wearing a gradient lip style to reduce the size of her lips, and by secret garden she's no longer using that style.

By The Fifth Season her lips start looking a lot fuller.

It should also be noted that she started using a matte lip style for The Fifth Season and Remember Me, which makes it SUPER easy to overline your lips. Notice that her cupid bow has been completely drawn over. Honestly it's not impossible that this is just makeup... but it's also not impossible that she started using filler around then.

But by Bungee she definitely has something going on that's not just makeup.
