Joy is my ult bias and so I've been quite literally admiring her beauty since debut lol and her face has changed quite a bit overtime.

First, the most obvious thing she's done which, I know doesn't fall into the plastic surgery category but still made a huge difference for her, is raising her hairline in order to have a bigger forehead since it used to be pretty small and made the rest of her face look chubbier and wider than it already looked at the time.

I'm thinking she might've gotten that done before Ice Cream Cake came out since it still looked the same during Be natural era.

Second, her eyes; now I've read online somebody claiming to be one of her old middle school classmates and said that she already got her eyes done(classic double eyelid surgery) back then before debut and I honestly can't tell for sure since her predebut pictures are either blurry or indecisive.

But I'm pretty sure she'd done something to them while promoting with RV. They're much more elongated and cat like, especially nowadays, than they were when she was a rookie. I think her eyes look super natural though and don't have that typical "clipped" super deep and obvious double eyelid look that Irene has.

For her nose, the bridge is a bit higher now and the tip which used to be pretty round and chunky became a lot more pointy and thinner though I feel like the change is a bit more obvious when you look at her side profile. I personally think that her nose is what changed her whole vibe, it almost looks cat-like which really helped her with her sexy image in my opinion.

Now her jaw is the one I'm having a hard time with, I don't think she's messed with it and I feel like any change in that area could be attributed to her massive weight loss back when Red Flavor came out. She's never had a strong jawline with obvious mandible angles to begin with and whenever she gains weight a double chin forms quite easily but I think she does get chin fillers? Since it seems pointier at times.

Joy is someone I admire a lot tbh; from debut up until she slimmed down I kinda felt like she wasn't very confident in her body and image especially during Dumb Dumb era when her and Wendy were shat on for being at their highest weight.

Now she literally radiates so much confidence in everything she does and seems to love herself a lot. Of course there are probably more factors that played into this but I think this is the effect that ps should have on someone, especially in her ruthless environment .

Thank you for your deep review on her face. I can see it. I didn't notice her hairline changing but now that you pointed it out it did wonders for her! 

Also, she's one of the few idols who actually lost weight in a gradual healthy way, not dropping like 20 lbs in 2 weeks... Also, she's been very vocal on exercising and being healthy. I feel the same way with her, I admire her a lot and she's amazing.

Yes, agreed with everything. Fillers on hips, her teeth, nose job, blepharoplasty and she has also lost some weight cause she is very in shape.

But she looks great! Hope she doesn't get carried away...

Also her eyes, to me: they seem a bit more open, nothing too drastic. She looks amazing.

I was watching Jessi Short!eview with him as a guest and his face is so refreshing! Like, I don't know how to explain it: idols always look so perfect but stiff and his face looks great but relatable/average while still being very handsome and statuesque?

The first picture is the official one and the second one is edited. Idk when i first saw these pictures i thought they were really convincing, after looking at it a bit more i think it could just be the position of his head and weird lighting (not to mention the makeup and dispatch's clown-ass most likely editing this photo).

the scar that is one his septum ( the cartilage that is in between the nostrils ) could most likely be just a shadow or weirdly placed makeup contour. since his head isn't really tilted up in this photo, we can't really see it clearly.

However what i find weird is the white line that is found in both outer corners of his nostrils. It's more visible in the first picture. The line looks like its a scar from being cut open and stitched back again. In the first picture, the most prominent one,  it's on our left ( his right since the picture is mirrored ). also the way his foundation sits on that part of the nose is strange. it makes it almost a shade lighter which to me makes it seems like the base is uneven and the foundation just filled it up. idk though, maybe the doctors over there in sm's hostage room has found another way to do nose jobs without leaving scars on the columella. 

although the pictures are a bit of a flop it doesn't take away from the fact that his nose is drastically slimmer here than in the predebut picture in my last post. Also in the pictures, his face looks shockingly gaunt. for someone who says that he bloats alot, his face during regular era sure was bony. I hope he isn't continuing whatever he's been doing to make his face that skinny ( kinda wishful thinking on my part because in his drama trailer his face looks really gaunt ), i heard from youtuber Lorry hill that buccal/jowl fat removal are not helpful in the longterm since they basically suck away the face fat and it also apparently can't be reinjected back in. The only way for people who have done buccal fat removal to have full cheeks is to get some sort of fillers. with his jaw shave and overall bone structure, i can tell that jaehyun will definitely age better with rounder cheeks. 

I some how can't find the original poster on this thread but i found the one where user @/jung jaehyun's boyfriend quoted it so i got it from there. the post was made asking about the nose job on october 10 2018 but when i went back and looked for it, i only found ppl quoting it. 

 

Also not ya'll commenting more on the twink comment than the rest of the post. It's not my fault he acts like an anime girl in his rookie days.

I'm 26 and besides losing weight (until 2019 I've lost around 60 lbs) my face has slimmed down even while keeping that same weight since late 2019. I don't have a round face but that fat on your cheeks starts to slowly decrease when you are in your late 20's. Imagine not having any fat: the face won't know what to hold on to when we start aging...

Also imo, lucas does not look good with a pointy nose tip. Idk it doesn't suit the rest of his features.

Lucas is my top bias and I agree. He still looks very natural but it was not necessary... But I'm happy that is not a nose job.

The hair, eye contacts, and filters are really not it. I can't believe sm had the audacity to think that they could get away with whitewashing him that much. 

Out of all the nct members, he definitely has the most recognizable and unique face. even my friends who don't follow nct knows who lucas is. 

It's a shame that sm put these standards on members who clearly don't fit it. The chin fillers made his face looks weird because his cheekbones doesn't point down in a V line shape like ,for example Taeyong's and Jaehyun's, it just threw off his lower face proportions because his lips were already full and high up on his face. 

His nose doesn't look that bad from the front view ( I believe he never gotten actual surgery right?, just fillers? ) however from the side it looks hella weird. his nose tip is round and a bit flat which suits his round cheekbones and blunt chin. 

And lets be honest, i think we can all agree that he looks best with tan skin. I've seen some idols where pale skin looks fine on them but lucas is definitely not one of them. It makes his skin looks like uncooked chicken. 

SM whitewashed the heck out of him in BOSS! But he looked very good in live performances and such.

To me, even with those procedures, he looks very natural. His nose still looks like his old nose. His actual skin color doesn't look crazy pale or different so that's great. I just hope he doesn't get nothing drastic done because even without fillers he's a natural beauty. The more I see him the more attractive his face is (he looks more charming in motion for me).

Also, he actually looks his absolute best without makeup and all the glam as opposed to others.

I'll probably get hate but I have never found him attractive or seen the appeal in his looks... Even without knowing what I know now about plastic surgery, he looked very uncanny to me. 

I wish his nose job would've been more natural because he looks incredibly plastic. He was a TRUE BEAUTY without it.

Lip fillers as well, besides the nose job. At least to me, check that picture where his eyes are closed. He's entering uncanny valley territory for me... Which is so odd because he doesn't seem to have THAT many things done but that nose it's unsettling.

We see plenty of of idols and actors who do the same thing and end up with nose fits the standard better than their original one but doesn't look obviously "done". However, in Lee Jong Suk's case, I feel the surgeon was too aggressive and he ended up landed with an obviously "done," kind of uncanny valley-looking nose. In my opinion, the surgery wasn't really worth it even if his nose fits the standard better now because it just looks so "done" to me and I'm sure to many others as well.

OMG, I've never seen any of his dramas or movies (I do have one on Netflix on my list though so I will probably watch one someday) and I agree lol. His face has always looked so unnatural to me and it has put me off of watching his work (which sounds weird and mean I know; it's the first time that this had happened to me; I feel bad admitting this because I'm sure it's a form of discrimination, I'll try to work on that..). 

Which is why I can't understand why they will perform such a drastic change on his looks. For example, some Hollywood actors lay low with the botox and some procedures while they are filming because they need to look as effortless and natural as possible while showing expressions on screen but gurl, there are some Korean actors that are so distracting! 

On a different topic, I watched "I Care A Lot" the other week on Netflix and Eiza González, who's on the movie, looked so natural on the screen considering all the work that she has done but it suits her.

Also, do you guys think that lightning, editing and such can make cosmetical procedures look more obvious or unflattering? Some Korean dramas, for example, have a very bright color tone and everything looks so fake... I remember watching "My Ahjussi" (one of the best dramas I've ever seen) and the actress that played as Lee Sun Kyung's wife (Lee Ji-Ah) had a filter everytime that she was on screen! Like a smoothing effect one. But I didn't see that with the rest of the scenes and actors. Have you guys noticed? It was so distracting. I currently don't have time to search and add a clip from the drama but here's a picture of the actress:

Another actress from that same drama that was incredibly distracting because she looks very unnatural is Kwon Nara. Her smile is similar to Lee Jong Suk's.

That is why I don't think I'll be able to do any procedures on my face because one procedure leads to another.

I previously said here that Blepharoplasty is the only thing I will consider doing but if I get one I will have to add an eyebrow lift like 10-15 years later because the skin will sag a lot faster as opposed to a cosmetically surgery-free face.

Coincidentally, I found this thread for the first time when Googling "jung haein plastic surgery" after watching While You Were Sleeping. I would argue that he's had more work done than Lee Jongsuk, but he looks a lot more natural. I still can't quite place why LJS looks so uncanny valley lol

Jung Hae In looks so fresh and natural though! WOW. The first time I saw him was on the drama White Nights and I remember thinking that he was very attractive but still approachable. 

What does he has besides his nose though? Is the only feature that I can pinpoint for now... Maybe buccal fat removal? Hmmm.

Yeah! I was subscribed to their channels a few years ago. I remember thinking back then that their noses were too "snatched" for their faces and that it should have been more of an "ethnic nose job" (hate that term but that is the name unfortunately).

lmao at first i wrote "Is this a result of too much filler or is he just an incompetent actor?" but i edited it because i thought it was too mean. Whoever says pretty privilege doesn't exist clearly haven't seen cha eunwoo's acting. 

May I just say how much I HATE that puffy look when I see idols and actors! It's so annoying because you know most of these people don't have round faces and are skinny af but the pillow face is annoying.

Cha Eunwoo has put on some muscle but is very obvious that he also get fillers and botox. Why? I don't even know. It could be done more tastefully but what can I expect? It's unnecessary...

Jaemin caught my attention during his trip with Siwon. I asked my friend who's done her lips and who's seen a lot of clients filling their lips (she works in the beauty industry) and she confirmed that at least his top lip is done. Apparently you can tell by the lip curve? Take a look:

Jaehyun is... an interesting case. His whole face is a mystery but his lips look just too good to be true. Especially his lower lip is so plump and smooth, makes me suspicious lol.

TAEYONG! I never noticed! Wow, it's so obvious but it's very well done.

Jaehyun is tricky because there are times where his lips are very very thin (and his chin looks oddly fuller) but then there are other times where his lips look fuller (and his chin more snatched). Maybe he gets the lip fillers along with someting for his chin in one session?

Jaemin looks nice.

But yeah... basically I really can't pinpoint what's different. and I also see the resemblance with Sunmi and Jess lol

I noticed she looked more different when she posted some throwback pictures from "Bad Boy" and "Peek-a-boo". The lenght of her face has completely changed, it looks longer now. Also her chin. Her cheeks as well. And she went from "idol" to "actor" in her looks lol. She looks amazing. I just hope she doesn't overdo it...

He could have a minimal nose job or fillers... But there is a very small difference on his nose for sure.
