- Most TWICE members have undeniable tweaks. They are subtle and well-done, but girl... 

- Hani should have kept her nose once it was shortened. I mean her curved, UP and DOWN nose. It made her sooo sexy and unique. It’s been kinda sad to see my UB lose her unique visual charms over the years. She started by improving, and was looking great. The problem came when she went to changing her face into something it is not (like features that aren’t “supported” by her natural bone structure).

- 99% of successful and public-exposed idol have had at least minor tweaks. Most of the features many of them portray are actually quite rare in Koreans, so ps is the only way to go.

I think a good bet to detect bichectomy is to see where there is a clear separation of muscle/fat pads in the cheeks and whether the cheekbones are so lifted and exposed. I think even Haechan of NCT have done Bichectomy but his cheeks don't look as Bad as Yuta 2018

In His old childhood pics he definitely looks like a male version of Sulli.

Ofcourse he has had quite extensive procedures despite being so young+makeup but I don't really see Jaejoong in him.

Actually the only SM artiste who really really could go close to the Jaejoong vibe is Kris imo but he too left way too fast.

Btw(I was thinking of creating a separate thread on this but I'm not a popular poster here so I am kinda afraid of not getting enough traction on the forum), always thought what if groups debut an-Amber style female idol who looks like Jaejoong lmaoo.

Androgynous idols have always been controversial but great crowd pullers for Kpop and even Jpop/Cantopop/Mandopop(even GWSN's most popular member GPwise is Miya who is tomboyish lol) so I kinda wonder how it would play if they debuted Someone of that category who looks like Jaejoong(since he's one of the most well-regarded and universally popular visuals ) lol.

Though -I think Hyuna and Jimin of AOA has been noted for resembling Jaejoong to some degree and they both are rappers which is traditionally seen as a masculine domain though they both dress in a feminine manner even though they're not really regarded as traditionally feminine but still I don't think they're really androgynous as well.

Amber is thought to look like Jonghyun Donghae and Jeno but she's regarded as the ugliest member of that quadruplet so I want to test out how a Female Jaejoong lookalike would work out lol. I would also ideally want such an idol to be in a more vocal oriented role since most of the androgynous idols are shafted to rap/dance-roles.

The only "androgynous" idols I know who had a more vocal oriented roles were Sunny and Jeongyeon (though for Sunny short hair/androgynous look was more of a temporary styling decision) and they were also shafted in terms of vocal contributions .(Sunny is my OG SNSD bias for her vocal colour lol yet she hasn't got chance to be a solo musical artists and she has mentioned how she was made to be insecure about her singing capabilities so I just feel sad for her. A sunny musical solo debut will be the solo debut I will forever wait for in Kpop).

I know quite a number of male Japanese celebs knetz find gorgeous honestly, they are called beautiful rather than handsome, so if a company does debut an idol like that, he would be popular. But I guess such type is rare on SK? Because I cannot remember any male idol that androgynously beautiful minus Jeonghan and Ren. Japanese celebs knetz find pretty are tho; Jin Akanishi, Chiba Yudai, Yamazaki Kento and Sota Fukushi.

Otherwise I find Tori Matsuzaka gorgeous

 

these people would all do amazing at Korea but like i said I dont think Korea really has this type alot??? At least for males?? which is interesting 

 

for ggs, there is alot of examples already, but i always felt like despite everything they pulled less crowd than a male androgonous beauty. Which is interesting, but I do think if SM wants they can find a female Jaejoong lookalike, but I dont think they want that because from what i see they choose to not have any androgynous idols for any of their recent groups (male or female). I guess they dont magnet to crowd like at the past. I dont see Jaejoong at all at Hyuna and Jimin tbh, even when Jaejoong got older, he is still kind of prettier than both rip 

1)Looks wise maybe but aura-wise Taeyong has a different unique vibe. Also Taeyong has more of a slimmer/skinnier frame than him lol.

2) TBH I find most of Aespa bar Giselle pretty uninteresting though I admit I have a soft corner for Winter lol. Maybe a personal observation, but I have seen that male androgynous stars are usually one of the better looking guys of the team objectively and are basically one of the aesthetically pleasing ones while the members who are chosen to be androgynous are usually one of the less attractive ones objectively and even if they are not so, they will eventually be seen such. Also, a lot of people do have a kink in seeing men taking on roles of women(including many men themselves) because men are demonised for taking on aspects of femininity while it is more acceptable for women to be masculine to certain degree.(though not in entertainment industry as a whole). There is a market for this Monty Python esque nonsense among both men and women (though I think it is definitely more popular among men).

I think Amber was definitely a testing ground for androgynous female idols and if she had been more acceptable, there probably would have been more of that sort and maybe even a compulsory trope. 

Personally I don't think Amber's male lookalikes are very attractive lookswise beyond a point(personally see Jeno as one of the least attractive NCT members) and somehow that particular face type translates even worse on women.

So I kinda wanted to know how a girl who looks like Jaejoong would translate among the girl group crowd(personally have shown my male friends IRL photos of Jaejoong and Taeyong faceapps and all of them rated those as pretty but they also didn't think AOA Jimin and Hyuna as facially attractive). As for styling I would personally want to go for a more Japanese Ikemen styling that TVXQ debuted with lmaoo(but that's also because I believe Jaejoong looked the best in it lol and I personally like Ikemen styling so) 

3) I think some older Kpop fans commented on JJ'S resemblance with Jimin and Hyuna and I also personally see them though it is not as obvious as Moonbyul and Xiumin though.

You've to be familiar with the faces and be hypersensitive about facial feature similarity and squint to see it 

(Probably my hobby of seeing resemblance between People helps lol)

Did something on his lips if I'm not wrong? That's the majorest change I see in his before and after pics.

Else Eyelid,nose,jaw/cheekbone(other surgeries he's believed to have) didn't help that drastically.

I believe he got fat reduction at jaw area, and fillers at nose afterwards as well but yeah, he is still quite more natural than Sungchan.

I think there a lot of the "changes" come from weight training not necessarily surgery(he was a chubby kid before I see?)

 I feel like most of the work He had post leaving SM is basically maintenance work like fillers +makeup which make him look more ethereal+unnatural(I guess that's his image as well?)

 

Imo, a big reason Sungchan probably got the surgeries is because while he was an attractive kid in childhood- puberty probably took away a lot of the childhood good looks he had and they decided to have plastic surgery and on the way they either decided to give him JJ's face or the results came out like that on their own.

He looked quite idol-like in childhood but now looks like your average East Asian hikikomori.

You might be right, I think he also lost too much weight at that era, which can thin out his face. I guess only %100 is his eyes at that era minus possible fillers.
