Interestingly V-Idols aren’t a very new concept. There’s a full virtual gg in kpop, they debuted last year, so clearly the company has been working on them for a while. They look quite real but sometimes specific shots make them look quite uncanny. 

Most of the girls look more real in this video because they are. There's only one "virtual" face in the entire video, and it's just as unconvincing as in the other video you posted where they all have the effect. Stupid & pointless idea IMO.

Pissed off? About what? You obviously didn't understand what you were looking at, based on what you wrote, so I merely pointed out why there was such a difference while also adding my own commentary. There's no need to project dramatic emotions onto me. You also didn't have to respond.

Would the person you're talking about likely feel insulted if they were to read this thread? If the answer is yes, then it's an insult, purposely or not.

For what it's worth, this thread has been insulting/toxic from the day it was started. This isn't a recent development by any means. And it isn't just the folks who do it on purpose by using this thread to attack idols they don't like. Given the very personal nature of the discussion (for its subjects), the toxicity is something that inherently comes with the territory. You can hardly discuss this topic without it. I've partaken in its toxicity myself, but there are still some people in denial over what they're doing when they come here. You will continue to see idols being insulted for as long as this topic exists. I'll leave you with one more truth bomb: the high prevalence of plastic surgery in Kpop is NOT the reason why this thread is amongst the most active on the forum. It's this active because people are attracted to the drama inherent in the topic.

Probably. I think breast implants are actually a lot more common in Kpop than people realize. They just usually tend to go for more realistic sizes than westerners do, so it's not as obvious, and if someone voices their suspicions, they're usually met with "it's just a push-up bra."

Funnily enough pannchoa just translated a theqoo discussion on why Korea is the country where cosmetic surgeries are so rampant, and they mention severe lookism in the country and the need to always compare and rank people's looks.

While I can't stand Itzy's repetitive "I love myself" theme, especially given the conflicting trends of the industry they're in, it's not made particularly ironic by your attempting to psychoanalyze a complete stranger, which is something that should certainly be avoided. You're just projecting thoughts & feelings onto her without knowing what she's actually thinking. It could be the company telling her to do these things for all you know.

Lip fillers aren't permanent. They dissolve over time, and can even be dissolved-on-demand by injecting a different chemical. The filler can potentially migrate to areas it's not supposed to, and people who get too much filler might permanently deform their lips by accident, but I'd be more worried about these people getting actual surgeries to change the shape of their lips, which is the new trend.

About the lines around the mouth. To me they just like the muscles around her mouth doing their job but I'm thinking that the lack of facial fat makes them look more noticeable.

She hasn't always been this skinny. She's really, really skinny now. And she's reached a point in her life where she can't "get away with it" anymore without it massively aging her.

Yeah, that's a thing people do here. But if you call them out on it, they just pretend they're being neutral, or even "plastic surgery positive."

As you can see, these photos go as far back as July. I don't follow her activities such as public appearances, but her latest Insta photos actually showing herself were from June. It's perfectly logical to assume that someone who had no previous tattoos (as far as I know) wouldn't suddenly cover themselves in them from head to toe in such a short amount of time, but it's starting to look like she actually went and did just that.

EDIT: I just had another thought. It's still possible, although increasingly unlikely, that some of these tattoos are fake. I'm personally hoping the Batman tattoo is fake, because frankly it looks terrible, but if it's real and she was thinking what I think she was thinking, it's also pretty hilarious.

She gets fillers, but I'm pretty sure she's gotten several actual procedures on her lips as well, including this one, which has created a pronounced (and permanent) curve in her upper lip. Just compare this to the photo on the website. She practically could've been their model.

Her top lip is stuck in that dramatic curved position even when she purses her lips (22:12 in this video.) It only becomes less noticeable and flattens out when she smiles widely, but if anyone has been wondering why her smile has looked weird, this is why.

Like other idols, she would've gotten veneers on all of her teeth, including the front teeth. They could have purposely made the others longer so her front teeth don't stick out like before, but shaving down the front teeth would probably be the more practical solution if it bothered her. I just hope for her sake they didn't make them too big, because I can think of several idols whose teeth look disproportionally large after getting veneers/caps.

It's not only her, lot of other 'older' idols get these comments. And tbh to some idols it does apply heavily. Well in a way it applies to all idols since they do take care of their appearance and use fillers etc but not to an extent fans usually say. But sometimes it can be hard to tell since everything is filtered to hell and back. Pictures, mvs, variety, fansite pictures etc. are so filtered. (also lot of fans dont know what 30 year-olds look like)

To be fair, she did actually look relatively "young" (quotations because she still looked nothing like her actual younger self) up until more recently, when she lost too much weight and started aging pretty rapidly. It probably doesn't help that her cosmetic procedures are aging along with her, despite the fact that she's obviously trying to fight her aging by getting more. Unfortunately you can't stop the tide with a bucket.
