I agree with you on her having V-line surgery, paired with the ocasional chin filler, along with a bichectomy (very defined cheekbones now). I see a minor difference in her nose, it‘s either the effect of lighting/ makeup or a really subtle nosejob. She also seems to have had her eyelid fold assymetry corrected (either that or she uses eyelid tape).

Her eyes are so much bigger now (I think she got both inner and outer corners cut and double eyelid surgery) and their a different shape from debut/pre-debut. Also before she used to have very thin lips and no top lip and now she has a little something (they don't go overboard especially on her top lip, they just make it existent and make her bottom lip a little fuller and plumper). Then obviously she shaves the front of her brows but thats not surgery. Also I think she has maybe done something to her jaw but I'm not completely sure. I saw her at one point and her face shape seemed different but I haven't looked into it.

I also think she‘s had a blepharoplasty and has had her eyelids redefined, judging by her past pictures, when she had a lot of fat above her eyelids and the crease wasn‘t quite as deep.

I think she does get fillers from time to time, and also agree that her upper lip predebut used to be non existent. Whatever she has done, it‘s subtle and not overdone. Her lips are still very small, but they were even flatter and thinner before, so she might have got just a bit of volume added to her. 
 

She‘s also had skin whitening (used to be very tan in comparison to her members, whereas now she‘s just tan) and her eyebrows have been reshaped. I don‘t see any changes to her nose, tho, so I would be thankful if you provided some pictures to back it up.

She looks pretty much the same to me, and has been the least changed TWICE member since debut imo. I‘m honestly glad she didn’t even have her nostrils tucked in. That would have been a disaster.

I disagree with you here, I actually think RV looked very fresh when they debuted, yes, even Irene. I remember watching that one Move Like Jagger fancam of hers when she danced with Mino and thinking to myself that her face appeared to be much more naturally movable and expressive, probably because they she hadn’t yet gone overboard with botox + aditional procedures. The only thing that looked fishy to me was her chin back then.

As for ÆSPA, I personally think Winter looks the most SM out of them. She hads that dolly, Taeyeon-like uncanny vibe, innocent looking yet extremely polished visuals. NingNing (my personal favourite) looks like the kind of visual you’d expect from JYP, charming, warm and mildly exotic. Giselle is totally NOT SM style, her original feautures didn’t provide groundwork for an SM style face. She’s cute and unique looking, but the styling they give her makes her look bland. She stills has those remnants of strong bone structure that call desperately for a more mature approach. Karina doesn’t look like any idol I’ve seen before, but I guess it’s a bonus when you’re the face of the group. Some may find her looks a bit too “extreme” (myself included) but she’s immediately recognisable.

Early SNSD. Pre-Red Light Era F(x). ITZY looks natural/ low-key as well (but it’s not like they’ve had a ton done, anyway). I had more groups in mind, but I’ll keep from mentioning them since there’s always a couple of members whose surgeries haven’t turned out so successfully.

The most successful and natural looking surgeries for me will always be Nana, Seolhyun and Chaeyeon.

This woman is 1.80 meters tall, which equates roughly to 5 feet 11 inches. Apparently she said she was also wearing boots (presumably to let it be known the shoes had a bit of a heel to them). The other members are angled so it is harder to tell, but I‘m pretty sure about Mark and Taeyong being closer to their official heights, whilst Taemin, Ten and Baekhyun sure are shorter than what their profile states.

Yep, thanks - I was just done with his hypocrisy and disrespectful behaviour and I felt that he needed to be called out. I've been on OH! for a long time and I've always seen that user leaving rude comments all around the forum, sometimes to other users. It seems like my comment responding to him was removed too, but I didn't get any warning points or messages from the mods, so it was likely removed because I had quoted him, or maybe someone reported my comment for being "unrelated" to the thread. I don't know why someone would though, because I was defending another user and this thread by asking for his toxic behaviour to stop. Maybe it was because my read was too severe, lmao. I just hope he saw it before it was deleted (or maybe he was the one that asked for it to be removed).

Adult age Kpop (I)fanboys aren’t as rare a breed as many people think, and, whilst I‘m pretty sure most of them are chill individuals, there‘s a huge amount who project their chauvinistic ideas onto female idols. There‘s this particular type that‘s attracted to the demure-looking type of feminine Asian girl (I don’t think there’s anything inherently wrong with it but I won‘t be the one to look away from contextual analysis ) and rejoices in the perpetuation of gender roles via Korean and Asian media in general, since it caters to a retalively traditionalist male gaze. This kind of men usually choose these waifus of their own devotion and, when toxic – which they are, a great deal of the time – will defend them against any accusation that could possibly damage the contrived “moral purity”they have come to associate with them, namely PS, smoking... etc. The worst part comes when they resort to the dismissive treatment of other female idols, those basic and majorly plastic bitches, not like the pinnacle of feminine beauty and desirability that the “respectable” idol is to them. Just a trend I’ve noticed.

She was very pretty and had a highish nose and a small face. She just happened to have that kind of eye shape Koreans hate, and those eyebrows weren’t helping. I think a well done double eyelid surgery and a change to her eyebrows and styling in general would have made her into an ultra-marketable beauty. I don’t agree with the statement that her surgeries are natural looking in any way. I think they suit her Bad Bitch Image very well, but I wouldn’t call them successful.

I think partly they bumped his height that much BECAUSE he is meant to be the actor of the group and actors are supposed to be taller.

That means Jungwoo and Doyoung(who I believe is taller than JH) is probably around 1.75-1.78.

Johnny I believe is 1.80-1.83 max.

Haechan the rumour is he is the shortest member atleast in 127 and is much shorter than his given height(anything from 1.64-1.68).

Taeil I believe is also of a similar range in Haechan(might be slightly taller though).

Yuta Mark Taeyong used to have same heights in their profile though it recently seems to have been changed.

But based on irl interactions where TY is shorter than Mark and Yuta- I believe TY is 1.68-1.70, Yuta is 1.70-1.73 and Mark is also 1.70-1.73.

Personal estimates though so take it with a grain of salt but will be hilarious if true. (This is why I kinda found the sexy image of Baby don't stop with shirtless blazers and shite and general propensity of Ten and Taeyong to go shirtless in stages laughworthy tbh)

Even if Rose is about 1.70 there’s no way Jaehyun is only 3cm taller than her LMAO. And Rosè’s wearing platform boots there, if you look closer. Rosè seems to be very much close to her official height if you compare her to Lisa, who is confirmed to be 1.66.5. She’s just a tad taller than her. Jaehyun may not reach the 1.80 mark, but I’m pretty sure he’s 1.77 eaz. They just rounded it up. I do think Doyoung is 1.80, or 1.81 (and people who’ve seen him in real life have seemed to notice that about him, the fact that he’s taller than expected). Johnny is very likely a solid 1.85, bc iirc he’s a tad taller than Lucas, whose confirmed height is 1.83.

Now, having that in mind, look at it again: (And there are members who are positioned forward, which means it will be a bit distorted anyway)

 

Aside from the fact that Doyoung is tilted as well, if you compare him to Johnny, who looks like a giant next to shorter members (mostly Haechan, Mark, Taeyong) and has stepped a bit backwards, he doesn’t look quite as small, maybe a 4-5 cm difference since that’s what it looks like visually. It pretty much suits the narrative of Doyoung being closer to 1.80-1.81. Now compare Doyoung to Jaehyun. The visible difference between his height and Jaehyun’s seems to be tantamount to that between Johnny and him, but a little less. Then 1.77-78 would make a lot of sense for Jaehyun’s real height. Then you get Mark, Jaehyun, Taeyong and Yuta to be more or less aligned. There’s a very small (but still there) height difference between Jaehyun and Yuta, like 1-2 cm which would confirm Yuta’s official height, that is, 1.76. Now you get to Mark, just a bit shorter than Yuta, almost equal if you don’t pay attention, and with a slightly bigger difference in regards to Jaehyun, which makes sense: he’s about 1cm shorter than Yuta, and, if he’s to be trusted, he comes close to the height he confirmed himself with SuperM, that is, 1.75. Now, the difference between Mark and Haechan seems to be tantaomount to that of Johnny and Doyoung, and a bit bigger than Jaehyun and Mark’s, namely, 4cm, which would put Haechan at a respectable 1.71. Then you have Taeil, who’s about Haechan’s height, and whose official height, with the help of a quick google seatch reads... 1.71m. Almost forgot Taeyong. He’s stepped forward, just a tiny bit smaller than Mark, then 1.74 would make sense for him.

For the record, this is what a 10cm height difference looks like. It ain’t far off when comparing Jaehyun’s and Rosè’s 8cm height difference. Heck, I saw an article the other day on KDrama couples with a 7cm height difference who are still considered aesthetic precisely beacuse it doesn’t look particularly noticeable (which it shouldn’t, anyway, since reaching someone’s temples isn’t going to look as visually strinking as barely scratching their shoulder).

Mark and Johnny’s height difference, for comparison. Also, Johnny has a stronger build, which contributes to Mark appering dainty next to him.
 

So, yes, some of NCT’s heights are fishy, but it’s a problem that should be solved by relative comparison with the members with confirmed height. They ain’t TXT, but they ain’t (all) midgets either.

She's deleted one of the worst photos she put out after getting criticism for it and claiming her complexion was natural and that she was so dark because she was of Romanian origins, but her hands, feet and face are completely different colors and in a lot of her older photos she was never this shade. Plus, it looks so unnatural, she's not fooling anyone.

 

Omg that reminds me of a YT video where people who were addicted to tanning met those who had already been exposed to the consequences of lying in a sunbed a bit too often: skin cancer, ulcers, extreme scarring... It is an ugly, ugly world indeed.

For those who have taken face drawing classes, you likely had your teacher tell you to draw the mouth line where the jaw rests when drawing someone’s face in a neutral expression:

Artists have millennia of observation about people appearances written down, and people have not changed since the first realistic drawings were made. There are things to learn from them which one can apply to plastic surgery too, their tricks are already used in face reconstruction in forensics, they clearly help. 

 

I agree with you for the most part about in the zygomatic bone being smoothed out and thus being less noticeable. Hence, the lack of an angle. A jaw shave, however, doesn‘t always entail the removal of that particular part. It may be done along the lower part of the jaw, resulting in a narrower V-line and a more angled chin. 

Now, Karina‘s jaw shave confuses me to no end. Same with Jaehyun‘s (even though it‘s clear he had one when looking at his past pictures).

She‘s always had a short lower face, albeit not excessively so. If you look at her old pictures, she had a rare mix between a V line and L line. She still has her angle, and it‘s quite obvious she uses botox (it is basically needed to keep the skin around the jaw from looking flabby, JH makes use of it as well). My bet is she only had it filed down from the front view, just narrowed it down a bit/ made the angle sharper, but it‘s not like she had a Handsome Squidward level jaw to get rid of in the first place, it was relatively weak already. Also, she seems to have had a bichectomy if you compare her face from Want era to her face now. She used to have fluffy cheeks that sagged a bit and now her entire face is tight looking.

 

I also think Jaehyun‘s angle is still there. He seems to gain weight in his face easily, tho. That+ his now unsupported cheeks make the jawline look much softer, and it is only defined when he keeps a super low fat percentage and makes use of botox. Doyoung had his jaw (unnecessarily) shaved as well, but he has no sagging skin. I‘m not fully informed on the exact maintenance that is performed on people who have undergone such a procedure, but it must be a pain in the arse.
