seeing the members revealed, she immediately jumped out to me as otherworldly/unreal looking. it doesnt look like her nose is possibly natural i'm not sure how to explain. also i was surprised she is the youngest member. her face kind of reminds me of ha yeonsoo. +nayeon, yeri. the nose and the squirtle vibes

when I first saw SNSD sooyoung I thought she was so beautiful and striking. I was shocked that she was considered an 'ugly' member and would get dunked on for the size of her head/face, being tanned, etc. My first introduction to the classic case of an idol being bullied into changing their defining features

mijoo is really confusing to me because she looks different but the same at the same time. i can't pinpoint anything exactly. I would love someone else's insight if they're interested.

2014-2015~ mijoo has a round face and soft features

2016-2017~ she has lost some weight so her cute image is shedded a bit. now her face looks a bit more diamond shaped atp, her cheeks were less full but still prominent cheekbones. around this time she's gone blonde for WOW and twinkle and now her jaw is starting to look confusing. at some points there looks to be a lack of a mandible but also it's hard to remember mijoo ever having a strong jawline in the first place? 

now from 'that day' era on (2018~) i really started seeing she didn't look like how i remembered. mijoo was always known to have big mouth but now it looks a little too big for her face.

i suspected she got some jaw work(??) because somehow her facial harmony was thrown off. and possibly veneers? her teeth look big and unnatural in that same way joy's do or sometimes sana. her nose i believe is natural, it's still rounded and has the snubbed tip. just you kinda get thrown off sometimes by nose contour. eyes? probably but not definitive.

also she has some makeup style i'm not fond of that's not helping  (mainly the chalky, block brows. also some nose contouring). i'm so happy she's found success now perhaps she saw some comments about her appearance and was feeling pressured about it. in lovelyz debut days when people would mention her visual, i was so shocked her face was considered a "polarizing" beauty. people said her face was 'ambiguous' or masculine, that she was a hit or a miss, like APink's oh hayoung. i really did not understand this because she didn't seem to deviate much from her members or other visuals, and she definitely does NOT look masculine. maybe she was just picked on, being compared to her other members that were so tiny pale and delicate. such as jiae. but also lovelyz in general were all tormented for their looks at debut....

this was a briefly discussed topic but april is nugu so nobody acknowledges this tragedy. rachel debuted as a new member after hyunjoo left and she had that 'fruity, fresh' cuteness like nayeon or kim chaewon. around lalalilala era she got a nose job, changing her rounder, cute nose that fit her face perfectly to a pinched tip. fuck whoever did that to her. completely changed her whole vibe and uniqueness.

what do you all think of yoon chaekyung? she has one of favorite visuals. calm beauty and warm, kind eyes. she's in the industry a long while and if there's changes they are pretty subtle. it seems unrealistic to think she's natural...? but maybe as close as an idol can be to "natural"

i think about of people might immediately think jaw based on the yearbook but she does a visible mandible (last pic) but a soft jawline. i don't see changes to her nose. the first pic is not very clear so it's difficult to say about her eyelids. maybe i would suspect inner corners? just based on her insta lately but also i've seen photos from all different time periods where her inner corners actually do look like that. again could be editing or a makeup trick??? also sorry if these aren't good photos showing enough, it's really hard to find pictures that aren't likely heavily photoshopped or airbrushed.

 

i just realized she reminds me of joy, even their predebut is similar

i'm confused with kazuha's nose. her side profile does have the typical ski slope thing but it doesn't look overtly fake or different either. i wouldn't conclusively say she's had a nose job

also did wonyoung do things to her jaw/chin/lower half of her face? people used to bring up her chin/jawline as a "flaw" and now it looks more softer/rounded imo

side note some of these idol's excuses are so dumb it's insulting to the fans intelligence. chapped lips somehow = lips 2x the size (everyone knows thats not how it works), or yooA attributing her massive new lips to eating spicy ramen

you can't remove filler, correct? i've heard when the effects wear off it just disperses all in your face. which makes the pillow face effect with continued injections. that's scary to think you'd just forever have a foreign substance floating around in your body

xdinary heroes, these guys have always been handsome and other than a few i don't see many noticeable changes.

ode: i was first sus of his jaw as it's v-shaped but it really appears he has a naturally weaker v shaped jaw, he isn't visibly missing a chunk of jaw. possibly a slight nose tweak to straighten it

gaon: this guy has my favorite visuals in the group. he has big round and soft yet defined features. it appears he's always had large eyes and full lips. nothing is jumping out at me tbh. his eyelids seem naturally uneven and occasionally his right eye looks to have a triple fold

junhan: in some old pics i almost didn't recognize him. but soon realized its less because he's gotten a lot of work done and maybe they are bad pics? his nose is pretty obvious even without old photos. it would be extremely rare for an east asian to naturally have a sharp tall nose. his eye shape was throwing me off. maybe some inner or outer corner work? his outer corners looked more droopy before

jooyeon: out of everyone i'd bet the most on him being natural. his features are not only unconventional, but also difficult to recreate. if anything i think many surgeons would try to erase these sharp features. he has a really unique look, like a model. i actually thought he was mixed at first but can't find anything that says he is. kinda the same vibes as highlight's dongwoon in that way.

jungsu: i didn't dig very far but i cannot find a single predebut pic of this guy. anyways you don't need that to tell he has an artificial nose. the perfectly straight, thin bridge and triangular nostrils are a telltale sign.

what do you guys think of kang hyewon? i love her face i think what sets her apart is her eyebrows having a slight arch. completely changes your impression.

she's so cute. i think she chilled out on the chin filler recently. i wonder if her nose is real? i believe so personally

one idol who is known/assumed to be 'natural' if possible. if i guess i think she has maybe done eye work(??) i've heard it's possible to develop double eyelids naturally i don't know the validity of that.

she kept her unique features nose and small lips. lips debatable but i think it's makeup. she also dropped a lot of weight somewhat gradually starting 2016-2017 now her cheekbones get more and more pronounced. her head is tiny, her waist is tiny sort of like her groupmate yooa.

under appreciated charming beauty, cherry bullet's yuju. i think she may tweak her nose sometimes. her nose shape is kind of confusing in that i can't tell if it's possible to naturally occur that way. (same with omg's hyojung. she started with unique shape but i do believe she's done her nose as well)

edit: it might be fillers in the tip, because just recently in cb insta her nose looks flatter and more natural

the work ningning has done is underrated. she looks different but also the same at the same time. her nose especially is nice and subtle. jaw work was unnecessary imo but still it's not too overboard

i've heard people say winter got a revision rhinoplasty and her nose is less pointy. i did think i noticed a difference since aespa's hiatus months ago. sometimes it's not so obvious because of harsh nose contour

You can see in the following photos that between the left eyelid and browbone the fat just dips in. It's where the large shadow is. There's also extra skin hanging over just above the eyelid

block b taeil did his nose :(( so unexpected since he's never appeared to touch up anything before. block b in general sans b-bomb and kyung were one of the more natural (looking) groups. (jaehyo admitted to botox)

i instantly clocked it seeing his ig post and his nose bridge was wayyy more pronounced and the tip shape is totally changed

it looks like it's settling now.. but i'm still sad so is my friend who was taeil biased when block b was active

 

if anyone cares you can check his latest ig post to see his more of his new nose settling. it wouldn't let me upload it but the bridge is noticeably higher, not as jarring as the first few pics i saw

i have a chin like this when i smile, it's possible to be natural. a similar case, oh my girl jiho. she has a really sharp prominent chin when she smiles so many think she has an implant. personally i don't think so because it looks like mine

seriously annoys me how because of the u go girl stage, fans are insisting yuna has always had those hips, or she "hit puberty". when i distinctly remember when itzy debuted she had straight hips
