Weight loss doesn't change a person's nose. It changes the way the rest of the face looks compared to a nose, but not their nose.

I think he had a pretty good and subtle nose job. His tip is way bulbous and really suits his features.

How do Korean men get such good lip fillers? Half of the time I don't even notice because it looks so natural. Meanwhile where I live people love getting exaggerated and obvious looking lip fillers to show off the money they invested in their face.

Yup it's true. In the Balkans the PS standard is to get the obvious looking surgeries and fillers so people would know you got them, they're like a status and wealth symbol. There are still people who get good surgeries (usually the actually rich people do that, while the ones that want to look rich get the obvious one) but so many people get really obvious fillers and ski slope noses and so on and show them off. Don't even get me started on implants.

I like looking at this account as a warning to myself if I ever want to get fillers or anything like that. All of them are pretty famous Serbian celebrities and they showcase just how much the beauty standard is twisted there. I previously mentioned that things are luckily way less severe among Croatian celebrities and there's maybe a few celebrities who look exaggerated while everyone else looks natural and have successful work done, but young girls are striving to look like Serbian celebrities more and more because that music is very popular here and it's not odd to see copy+paste faces in trendy cafes and wherever fashion streetstyle photographers operate.

We have naturally beautiful women but at every corner and it's true, but the recent trends have been so weird to me because that fake aesthetic has become such a standard for some. Not everyone, maybe not even the majority, but it's growing and I hate seeing it, especially in young people.

Silicone in lips was a huge trend in the 90s and 80s and then fillers started becoming more and more known to the world and the women who got the silicone started regretting it because unfortunately that thing starts looking worse and worse by the time and it mutates and grows and you can't really remove it because it merges with your body so a lot of them had to have reconstructive surgeries which were really expensive and in some cases those are impossible to do because the situation is severe. Almost no one gets silicone nowadays but I have an acquaintance who pretty obviously has gotten them in her lips and her lips already look dreadful and it's only been around five years.

I don't know what's so bad about these that her stylists felt the need to overly pluck the fck out of them but the short eyebrows are just not it, in my opinion.

 

She has naturally arched eyebrows and whoever did her brows clearly wanted to change the shape to those straight, short eyebrows that Koreans are so obsessed about (which really don't suit everybody, her being the perfect example). They overplucked them so they could reshape them and they did a really bad job. These kind of eyebrows suit her face, but they wanted those damn straight eyebrows on her so bad.

I want to know who keeps doing her brows so badly. Everyone's brows always look good, and then hers are stamped on or filled out too much, etc.

Hyoyeon went through a similar transformation.

I know the general consensus here was that Suga was getting fillers but it never looked like fillers to me, especially recently. Then I started getting cortisone shots myself for a condition. The change is real. I'm so bloated and ugly, it's frustrating but my face looks just like this. I'm not just bloated, it changed my appearance a lot. The swelling isn't really going down and I hate how it looks. I have a friend who gets facial fillers and the way her face filled up and my face filled up are so different. I'm not blind to the changes in his face, his nose is amazing and I'm glad he actually had a good nose work unlike RM and JH whose did nothing good for them, I'm sad about his jaw, but I don't think his facial volume is due to fillers nor do I think anyone would try to achieve that look with fillers. I've been biting my tongue because people were so sure it was fillers and I don't think his particular look right now is due to that. 

That being said, I'm aware he had changes to his face and I think, except for the jaw, everything else has been good. The jaw work is saddening, but at least it's not extreme. He still has a jaw and his neck doesn't look like freakishly long, wide neck as compared to his jaw, so that's something. I don't know why he of all people tried going for the v line look, now his chin is a bit pointier and jaw narrower, but it was more subtle work than anyone else that I've seen in kpop have.

The concept photos are definitely photoshopped, however the candids are not even the HQs upload, they're merely previews so those are especially less like to be photoshopped and then one of them is even a screengrab from a video from that day. She's looking really swollen and different and I struggle to see how a person who is 25-6 like her would need facial fillers like those she seems to be getting.

Edit: It was a harmless question and I wasn't claiming she did anything to her face and yeah, sure, it could be due to the selfie, but to get 9 clown reacts and 3 skull reacts for asking a mere question which wasn't harmful or accusatory? Just because she looked a little different to me, a fellow Once, who genuinely likes and supports her. Sometimes some of you feel like a cult and I feel scared even to speak out because you're gonna clown or neg me.

I think it's Jihyo, too. Girlie's had it all, a great dancer and a great performer, she has stage presence, moves, everything. Mina is beautiful and elegant but sometimes stiff and her emotions don't come through as much, while Sana maybe is a bit behind Jihyo technique-wise, but has a 150 percent personality and stage presence unlike almost anyone else. Her, Jihyo and Momo are very charismatic when they dance imho. It's hard to take my eyes off them.

It's similar to how I'd rank them. I go back and fourth between Mina and Nayeon for fourth place but my top 3 is the same as that user. I danced a little as a kid but one of my best friends is a dancer and I've watched her a lot on performances, competitions, showcases etc. so I don't really consider my opinion to be that valuable, but I still feel like I have some okay input considering I've seen a lot of dancing in my life. Dahyun maybe is not the best dancer in the group, for example, but she's another one of those magnetic performers and she makes up for what she lacks in technique with her incredible stage presence.

I saw this photo under the original tweet and either that's some really convincing makeup and editing (especially on the lower lip) or somebody convinced Jin, a man with really full and beautiful lips, that his lips needed to be even fuller

I really can't understand why he would do this to his jaw and chin. A jaw shave and a chin implant did nothing for him except make his face look long and narrow.

I know this doesn't mean much as I'm a complete stranger and completely irrelevant to you but strong jaws, wide jaws and square jaws are so pretty to me. I haven't seen anyone whose V-line surgery turned out well, no one really. All of them end up looking fake to me. The consequences of that surgery are so severe as well. You'd have to get more work done every few years, you'd have a constant double chin and you'd only be able to get lipo every few months because it's dangerous, the upkeep is expensive and painful and more likely than not, you'd end up looking like you're missing a part of your jaw.

The only idol who I can think of that didn't have a shabby jaw work is Jaehyun, and it's because his jaw was that strong and he didn't go overboard.

Also ps can frequently open a person up confidence wise (even if the work looks bad to say us..) to different styles and soon after they get new piercings or hair color. 

Idols have actually been really lucky with Covid, all these masks and long periods of no on camera-time and less activities means so many tweaks done without being noticable or having to be seen. 

I've noticed that too - bleached hair and bangs at times to throw people off.
