Do some people have a hard time losing muscle? Like why can’t they just stop working on their legs (obviously except for dancing) I but don’t think dancing is enough to develop muscular legs since many other idols don’t get leg muscles???? Or maybe it depends on the individual? 
 

getting muscle removed sounds scary like it’s one thing for muscles  to get smaller for lack of of activity but to remove it means the legs will no longer have the support of the muscle.

weird video example LOL but just when Rose turns her face to see her manager has fell, I notice it looks crescent moon shaped. Jaw shavings can really mess with your facial harmony because you don’t realize you have a “bigger” chin when you have a “bigger” jaw to harmonize it.

I remember Lory Hill saying Jennie may have buck fat removal (tho it could be just her getting older since she was a teen when we saw pics of her chubbier face) If bucal fat removal is common in kpop I think it’s not a good procedure at all in the long run. It may look “good now” but as we age, we lost bucal.....by their 30’s they can look even older than their age. 
 

I know the industry cares about how you look the present since they see them as profit until they find another group. Still it’s unethical

Do you mean Bella Hadid? Yeah I think she won’t age well because she literally has no bucal fat anymore so I feel she is will looo even more gaunt. Jennie I think she might be fine whether she did it or not since her face still on the chubbier side, but since facial fat is the biggest thing is showing our age that I wouldn’t touch it at all regardless if I’m only taking a little bit out.
 

I think that procedure is such a short term procedure because we don’t know how we will age. I’m more into skincare than anything.

It sucks that many idols roll have to maintain their looks through facial threading for the rest of their life. It makes me feel even more bad for Karina

I’m sorry I made a typo. My iPhone does that a lot. I was saying that to prevent sagging from jaw shaving, many idols have to do facial threading which lifts the skin.

I think she got voluma fillers too. Her face looks a bit lifted. Depending on the method, Fillers can actually slim the face giving it a longer/slimmer illusion while simultaneously  enhancing the cheek bones. I can really see it in the second pic.

People say how Kylie Jenner is what western people wanna look like, until you see her in real life. It’s extremely distorted now. I have nothing against PS or fillers but she really overdone it. 

 

I thought she was conventionally attracted until I saw actual videos of her... it shocked me. It shows that even if you have the best plastic surgeons in the country, you can still mess up your face.

Regarding Giselle, I agree with her being the odd one out. She is actually my fave, but in the beginning I was confused. I don't know how to say this without sounding like a 'hater' or anti, but she looks so...normal? Like she could be in my class at uni and I wouldn't look at her much. Not in a bad way, she just reads as average, which is particularly jarring when next to Karina and her nonexistent jaw, Winter with her hella fake nose, and Ningning with her filler/botox face (think it's calmed down now tho thank god). It feels like SM forced the others into the PS factory while they looked at Giselle and were like "eh". I know she's not totally natural, but she sure looks it in that group.

Idk how bad her nose was broken but I feel they kinda did a rhinoplasty while fixing her nose (kinda like how with Minzy when she has some nose issue but the doctors also decided to do rhinoplasty).

Not a fan since it looks like the typical kpop PS nose. I liked her hooked nose.

Rose is another example of someone who I thought I was just over their visuals until I see an older pic and realize that it’s the procedures that made me find them “less pretty” to me. Nothing wrong with PS but like sometimes I feel it takes away that charm that attracted me.

If I'm being honest, I'm not a big fan of them. mostly because they are never consistent with their rankings and their comment section are quite toxic. Both of these channels seem to have a difficulty identifying skin tone and jaw shapes. Their videos also have a very passive aggressive tone, most of the compliments they give towards the "lesser attractive" member are very back handed. They also like to make up false rumors about the group they're talking about, like how koreans find them unattractive and such. All of this on top of how they can't even follow their own beauty rules properly. Like the second channel classified Hyewon, Winter, and Yeri as having pale skin when it's quite obvious that they don't. 

The comment section is also quite weird. They seem to think that every idol has to follow the beauty standard and they also use it as a weapon sometimes. Like I've seen comments like "oh, idol X has 80% of the standards and isn't the visual but idol Y with 70% is". I think most of these comments also come from the fact that these videos always alternate between ranking the idols by individual features or by overall facial composition/compatibility.

Some of these people need to understand that companies chose visuals based on the style they're looking for and the standards isn't always necessary. for example if we were going to judge by individual features - Winwin and Jungwoo would be the visual in 127 instead of Jaehyun but SM prefer Jaehyun's overall facial composition more. Tzuyu and Nayeon also has the same individual features ranking but most people would say that Tzuyu is the official visual of twice.

although visuals are very important in kpop, I doubt the hyper specific standards are.

 

Lol I like curry curren visual rank videos because I have a weird interest with people’s opinions in terms of ranking. I feel she tries her best to not sound rude. In her later videos she doesn’t say “Koreans don’t find her pretty”. I do agree that she is inconsistent. Because in the blackpink visual rank she put rose last but in the RV.Twice.BP ranking video, she put rose above Jennie, she did it for others too. 
 

She ranked Eubi low in the Izone ranking videos because she looked older for her age lol. She looks her age, she is just a woman in her mid 20’s in a group of teens. Like she should be in the top 3. She even said Eubi matches the visual standards. That bothered me a lot.

The difference also isn't massive, his nose just looks more pinched which could easily be from a nose job settling or "aging:"

Somewhat but not 100%. The one with Jennie, I don’t agree with her having bucal fat removal because she had chubbier cheeks has a teenager (she probably was less skinny too). You can’t just say “oh facial fat can still stay as your age” as evidence that she may have it.

I agree with this. Like we don’t know how much fat will decrease as we age, so doing bucal fat removal is risky. It makes your cheekbones pop more and make it thinner but honestly I don’t think it’s worth it long term. 
 

I’m hoping Yeji just got fillers because fillers can make your lower cheeks thinner while making your upper cheeks fuller.

I agree and it makes her look older than she is since your Philtrum naturally gets longer as you age because your lips start to sag.

Kind of late to this, but I feel like Naeun lost her charm after she got a cheekbone reduction sometime between 2015 and 2016, which I don't really see being mentioned. This was before filming Cinderella and the Four Knights. People were accusing her of getting botox, but really, I feel like it was just swelling from her cheekbone reduction which is quite a major surgery.

Before cheekbone reduction (and epicanthoplasty) 2015:

After cheekbone reduction (and epicanthoplasty) - 2016/2017:

After she got her cheekbone reduction, her cheeks started looking saggy because the bone structure supporting the skin was shaved off. Her lifted upper cheeks used to make her eye smile look natural, but now her aegyo sal looks forced and artificial. To me, 2016 was the turning point. Everything she did up to that point enhanced her features, but after that, her additional procedures just made her face look increasingly less harmonious.

I find it really unfortunate that she felt the need to undergo these procedures. I used to think she was the prettiest idol at the time, her heart shaped face made her look really feminine and unique, but now she looks like everyone else.

I heard sana possibly had a cheek reduction. I fear her cheeks will start to sag too.
