His double eyelids looks a bit sus in the second after photo. the crease looks quite thick(?). Either way, since the before photos you provided aren't super clear, I can't be too confident about anything. Or maybe he just have one of those faces that looks overly smooth yet natural.

maybe they did it on purpose to be able to differentiate them? I've never heard of them before but they do look beautiful. Although a bit excessive, I would say their procedures are a success.

I would say the easiest way to tell is if the eyelids are too symmetrical and there is only one line for the double eyelid. I will use my eyes as an example, as I have natural double eyelids and my ethnicities are Chinese and Korean so I think it would be an accurate representation of what an East Asian persons’ eye would look like with natural double eyelids.

As you can see, for an East Asian person who has natural double eyelids, there is more than one line for the eyelid, there are multiple about 2–3 for each eye. Additionally, my double eyelids are not completely symmetrical indicating they are natural.

This is very true. I don't know a lot of east Asians ( including myself ) who have perfectly symmetrical eyelid creases. The standard that these Idols set are a bit uncommon for most East asians. they all seem to have 1. a perfect almond eye shape, 2. one perfect eyelid line on each eye, 3. deep creases. I've always thought a lot of the idols who haven't got eyelid surgery must be using eyelid tape. But honestly I've never been exceptionally good at applying eyelid tape so I can't point them out either. However, I've noticed that eyelid tape is a bit irritating on the skin (since it's pushing it back) and also noticeable under bright light. The light reflects the plastic so even under makeup it is still noticeable close up. I have heard from some of my friends that if you apply eyelid tape everyday for about a month, it will create an indentation and stay like that even without the tape. I'm sure this is the case with some idols who use eyelid tape regularly and suddenly it appears naturally. Do you think there are any idols where this has happened to them? And if so, is there a clear way to differentiate whether it has formed naturaly or by a surgeon's hands?

Do you guys remember Natty from sixteen? I just listened to her songs and I barely recognized her. Her nose now looks like a less extreme version of Nayeon's.

I think maybe because felix is unhappy about his face? In those texts, he seems almost frantic. He probably saw people on twitter (or maybe even on here) speculating about his changes. If it was weight loss then he must be on a really unhealthy diet. Which i don't think so because if he lost enough weight for it to show on his face, it would definitely show on his body first and his body seems to stay the same. 

Its kinda sad how stans think we are dissing their faves by saying that they have had plastic surgery. Plastic surgery shouldn't be seen as an insult, especially in an extremely competitive industry like this. I think for the most part, this thread has been pretty positive and I think it should be like that.

also, side note, people on Quora are so defensive about their faves getting surgery. I swear they must have eyesight problems since they deny everything even though its so obvious????

I know all of these may be edited but his jawline looks like this all the time, it's not like both SM and nctzens collectively decided to photoshop Jeno on every single occasion

But what confuses me even more is how square his face:

Some people already brought it up but different camera lens distort faces in a certain way, making them wider or narrower, that's why I mostly used side profile pictures. But I'm still confused as hell. Even if he did shave his jaw, when? I noticed it in 2018 when I saw his "Empathy" photocard and I thought, "Wow, Jeno got a slimmer face" however turns out his jaw looked like this since pre-debut.

Could he do it as a teen but then his face simply grew with age and now he has a square face instead of V-line? Or am I a clown and just see things? 

 

Honestly, I need answers on this too. It seems like his mandible is missing but it seems like it has always looked like that. something that adds to the confusion is that he naturally has a bit of a strange facial structure. From the side his face looks slim but from the front it looks square. it might be because his chin is quite long and wide while his jawline is a bit weak/soft. 

however, you might be on to something! I wouldn't put it pass sm to not change their young idol's faces since they have tampered with Jaemin's face so much they have probably done something to him too.

Damn... this would explain why a lot of idols are really skinny. but doesn't liposuction take a long time to heal especially in some cases where they have to remove the loose skin? It would makes sense why companies put idols on harsh diets to make sure that the fat don't come back. But that could just be the norm in general regardless of liposuction or not.

In dance practice videos, I always look at the legs of idols and it always shocks me. They have really thin legs like the last photo.

Doesn’t look that bad in the second and third photo but the tip is definitely a bit off. It has that signature “penis” shape that comes when the sides of the nose are too spread out compared to the tip. This can be changed by tucking the nostrils in but something tells me that it wouldn’t suit her. Now that I think about it, her nose reminds me of taeil’s from nct.

Her chin doesn't look as extreme in her debut photos unlike the first photo. but wow her eyes really are scary to me. not really the size just that they are very rotated upwards? They look like bees eyes honestly. she straight up looks uncanny

bruh..... her before nose is really cute. it even seems smaller? must be a really demanding industry where people with good noses still feel the need to get them done. I feel like alot of idols/actors change the smallest things about their faces hoping that it would do something. in her case it didn't really work out in her favor. not sure how i feel about this.

Can you explain more about this? I feel like in his case it might be just puberty. Because mark always had a more hooked side profile and sm always edit it to look less visible/completely remove it in official photos. if he had something done to his nose, wouldn't they first fix his side profile since sm hates it so much? imo he looks very natural so even if he got anything done, i doubt it would do anything for him since he is already very cute.

Has yg's boy group treasure been thoroughly discussed on this thread yet? I'm not that familiar with them but at a first glace they seem very natural. when i saw them for the first time I was quite shock that a big company would debut a group with such unique faces ( this is no shade at all). Since yg is know for criticizing their idol's appearances ( I guess he only does so to female idols ). Treasure definitely looks the most natural out of all groups that have recently debuted.

I know right... And people swear that BH is the most natural company when they only have like 3 active group. Honestly though, the reason that people don't notice it that much is because the surgery itself was done quite well. There's like a quote that goes "no one will ever question a well done nose job" and its definitely true in this case. Unlike other companies, who likes to give their idols really obvious surgery BH is at least making sure their idols look good and unique. I feel like the enhypen and iland boys will age well ( the same can't be said about some sm idols tho )

Also i know im really late but i've only started watching iland which is why i noticed all these nose jobs. Before i joined this thread i only saw like 1 or 2 post discussing enhypen so i decided to add my opinions on them too. Ill be updating when i see someone else in iland with a sus nose ( honestly nose jobs are the easiest for me to point out ). which hopefully will not be that much more considering half of iland are super young.

Yeah, YG always has something to say about his female idols’ appearances, but not the men so  YG’s boy groups always have unique-looking members.

Finally!!!!! An I-land member with a natural nose ( at least imo). All the others look like him tbh. Nicholas, heeseung, sunghoon, sunoo, hanbin, and jay all has similar noses to him. while the other members' noses are definitely not natural, i think jake's is. i really thought he had tweaked his nose because it looked too similar to everyone else's.

Same thing happened to me with black pink btw. since lisa and rose had nose jobs, i assumed that jisoo also did. i was surprised looking at her predebut pics considering how common plastic surgery is. that girl does not change. 

most stans would try and defend their idols whenever they are accused of ps. after coming across this thread, i often assume an idol has something done even when they haven't. ( in this case, jake).

Her Chin Fillers definitely went down. Originally her chin was more rounded/blunt which really blended well with her girl-next-door look. To me, wheein always had a calming(?) vibe to her visuals. I really like it.

During AYA era, she experimented with fillers, most prominently in her chin. instead of all her features blending well together, her chin was now the first thing you notice about her face. She also probably got cheek/lips fillers too since her face seemed a bit puffy.

I also see changes in her nose, jaw, and eyes. They seem to be sharper and more clean cut now. I'm glad that her chin fillers in the AYA era settled down, her face is more balanced now. Also in the picture you posted, she really looks like sunmi and a bit of seulgi. Absolutely stunning.

Also, I'm not a big fan of the kinds of filter that some idols use. You know, the ones that make their jaw and cheekbones really smooth, eyes really big, and skin really pale and patchy-looking. Whenever i look at these pictures, i feel a bit creeped out since it's like they're mimicking young children. And the thing is it's really common in kpop. Its even expected for idols to use these filters. I remember when Doyoung (NCT) was on the night night podcast without makeup and fans were telling him in the comments to put the filter on. its crazy how idols aren't expected to be human.

Her eyes, nose, and general checkbone structure in this picture reminds me of the former sm trainee yiyang.

I know someone in this thread said something about his face being hard to analyzed for fillers but can i have ya'lls opinions on this. notice how his top lip is a bit more full and the sides of it is curved? I swear now they're the same size when his bottom lip used to be so much bigger. Idk though it looks like this is some pics, his face is quite difficult to read. What do ya'll think.

For Silicone nose implants, less really is more. Sometimes the skin around the implant gets really thin and the implant is really visible. Like you can see the outline and the shine of the implant. These are the types of implant I often see.

For Heeseung's case, his surgeon prolly used something similar to the first one (L).

When he's moving his nose, its a lot more obvious, like the way the skin moves around the implant doesn't seem natural to me.

Idk why the surgeon gave him this nose. When something is inserted, the surgeon should always be careful to not cut off the supply of blood. And since the nose is on the center of the face, blood supple is very important.  I've heard about people who got implants placed improperly which damaged the facial nerves and killed the surrounding skin cells. I watch a lot of Botched (the tv show) and they often talk about how dangerous it is when your skin cells start to die, they said that the implant should be removed immediately if that happens. 

Idk though, imo his nose implant is way too obvious and close to the surface of the skin. As people get older, their skin naturally gets thinner and looser. I'm sure that his nose won't age very well. I know i talk about Enhypen a lot on this thread but I'm really not trynna drag them. I'm just shocked at the amount of plastic surgery they all had done. Like seriously, I've never seen a rookie group with this much work done that have gone above the heads of many people. It's just really crazy to me how they look obviously enhanced yet quite natural at the same time.

Minnie's nose in that photoshoot looks really edited. the nostrils have a very triangular shape to it and the slope is unnatural. This is how her nose usually looks.

Her nose is not that tall nor sharp at the tip at all. I don't think she did her nose though because in newer pictures, it doesn't look that different. If they edited minnie' nose then they most likely did the same to miyeon's nose too. I don't know if I'm tripping but in that photo, their nose contour doesn't look very well blended. Maybe it was the style of the photoshoot considering that minnie's eyeshadow and miyeon's blush were also not well blended. The combination of the weird contour and the editing probably isn't doing them any favors tbh. I love minnie's nose shape, i hope she won't feel pressured to change it.
