Someone I really wanna talk about is tzuyu. We don't talk about her (or twice in general) super often but over the years tzuyu has gotten a lot done. I know twice in general gets maintenance/has gotten a little work done over the years but I feel like tzuyu has gotten the most maintenance/procedures done over the years 

Her eyes are so much bigger now (I think she got both inner and outer corners cut and double eyelid surgery) and they're now a different shape from debut/pre-debut. Her nose tip is also different before it drooped on the bottom and thats gone (but idk if she got a nose job or just fillers or something. It seems to sometimes come and go). Also before she used to have very thin lips and no top lip and now she has a little something (they don't go overboard especially on her top lip, they just make it existent and make her bottom lip a little fuller and plumper). Then obviously she shaves the front of her brows but thats not surgery. Also I think she has maybe done something to her jaw but I'm not completely sure. I saw her at one point and her face shape seemed different but I haven't looked into it.

Thanks for defending me lmao. I just wanted to have a normal conversation and he just came outta nowhere. Like obviously if you don't agree with me thats fine (at the end of the day we're all just speculating and saying things we think happened) but theres no reason to be an unnecessary a*s about it. Honestly, a lot of the BH I-Land trainees look surgically/cosmetically enhanced. I wish BH didn't do this though because all of them have the same overly-polished vibe. same nose, same chin, and same teeth. Ni-ki also kinda look like he got veneers but i'll have to find more pre debut pics of him smiling. damn, not even the children are safe. Either way, all of the enhypen members have shockingly white teeth. I guess they're not trying to hide that they make their trainees guzzle bleach every couple of months.

Thats such a sad thing about kpop these days. Its like before idols had surgery just to "fix" one or two little things but overall kept the natural look of their face whereas now its just a checklist to try to make them fit as many ideals as possible (double eyelids, check. v-line, check, same exact nose, check).

Yupe it really sucks. And super talented people get the boot if they aren't pretty. I doubt anyone will remember/recognize them but they are super talented and even though they lost weight they never made it.

Yeah thats what I meant. It seems like bh always makes their artist have unnecessary surgeries. Their good about not having all their artist have the exact same face (from what I've seen) but they can make their artists get really unnecessary pointless surgeries

Ok that makes sense because the upper right picture she looked so different and I was really shocked (I don't remember her ever looking that way)

I think the sagging is because theres now no bone (or less of a bone or essentially missing bone) to support the skin and thats why it sags (before the bone supported it and held it up and now you don't have that bone and theres nothing there to hold up the skin anymore). I also think maybe some people have the excess skin removed and thats why they don't seem to have a problem with sagging skin whereas some people don't and thats why they need constant botox maintenance to keep the skin tight and not saggy

But speaking on how having no angle or less of an angle (etc) can be a good giveaway on a jaw shave, do you guys think theres other procedures that have easily spotted giveaways? Like I know years ago someone on this thread said that triangular nostrils (think bts jungkook) can be a side effect on asian noses from having major nose (or at least tip) work done and I wanna say thats more or less true. Whenever I see someone having kinda weirdly shaped nostrils (and I end up looking at their predebut pictures) they usually have had some work done on their nose. idk I find it interesting and I wanna know if you guys believe in that too (or have other easily spotted giveaways from certain procedures. oh but obviously not the scar on your eye from double eyelid surgery. that ones obvious lol)

I would say the easiest way to tell is if the eyelids are too symmetrical and there is only one line for the double eyelid. I will use my eyes as an example, as I have natural double eyelids and my ethnicities are Chinese and Korean so I think it would be an accurate representation of what an East Asian persons’ eye would look like with natural double eyelids.

My eyes (no makeup):

As you can see, for an East Asian person who has natural double eyelids, there is more than one line for the eyelid, there are multiple about 2–3 for each eye. Additionally, my double eyelids are not completely symmetrical indicating they are natural.

she knew she was right and she was going to prove it lol but the link you posted is really interesting because I didn't even know you could lose your double eyelids. I didn't realize it was one of those procedures were the effects can actually not last and you may have to get the surgery again

I feel that way too. For me I think it's because they're just so stereotypically attractive that it actually makes them less attractive. Like your just so stereotypically attractive that it's actually kind of boring (/bland). I have a few idols like that

She is so pretty and she does sometimes vaguely look like tzuyu. But I did try looking at pictures of her and from what I saw, I wanna say a nose job and maybe some eye work

I feel so bad about weki meki yoojung. She really didn't need her nose job and jaw shave but the poor girl has literally been getting hate for her looks since ioi/when she was 16. It must be so hard for her

And yes, he matured but I don't think aging can take you from a V-line to a square face in 4 years, so my question is

Can we expect Karina to grow her jaw back too? 

I wonder how they did that. Like is it all really from fillers or fillers + implant or what. And can doing that help you or are you still screwed because your actual jaw is still gone and doing this is really only for aesthetics

I literally had to add those lines because I couldn't understand a damn thing myself. Like yeah, there's some change in the angle, he also doesn't have as much skin sagging underneath his jaw as he used to when he debuted. But it looks so subtle from the side and then he looks straight into the camera and the difference is so apparent. What kind of sorcery is this? 

Someone in this thread mentioned that jaw work requires face lifts later in the future because it doesn't age well. And I watched a video or two about face lifts, how people dread getting them so they fill those places where their skin is sagging with filler and end up with pillow faces. I'm interested to see Jaehyun in 5-10 years from now, how all of this is gonna turn out

See thats what I assumed too. That if you shaved your jaw the only way to get back anything there is to put an implant. But jaehyun is really confusing. Also I gotta say if you shave your jaw and they took away so much and then your company decides you know what its kinda ugly and makes you get an implant, I'd fight somebody (like they just messed up your jaw/future for nothing. I'd be pissed).

A lot of them have. I'm not sure about yoojung though. I don't follow weki meki as closely as I once did but idk to me she was just constantly get hate on her looks that to me to seems like she got work done so that she could be "pretty" as opposed to wanting a different image but I could be wrong. Shes always been so pretty though

Thats what I'm thinking too. That if you want to get an implant, there does need to be some of the bone/something left there (I don't get how they'd be able to put an implant if theres no angle and it's completely smooth but idk).

The jaw shave isn't the problem its just that they decided to take so much. It was so unnecessary. Or he even could've gotten botox or something. They just didn't need to go that far

This was Jungkook’s nose state in 2020. Triangle shaped nostrils and it feels as if they’ve taken away too much cartilage from the tip. Looks way too short and unsupported.

I also wonder what made him feel like he needed double eyelids at this point in his career.

When you compare these photos (or even some of the other pictures to the first two) her tear duct seems a lot more exposed, but dahyun is definitely one of the most natural idols. Shes looked the exact same all throughout the years

A few pages ago someone did ask if she got her eyes done because they seem a lot wider and someone replied but I can't remember if they agreed she got her eyes done or if they just said she was super natural. But it was something I was thinking about too and then when you posted the pics it just confirmed what I was thinking so just decided to quote. But yeah its pretty obvious once you look at really old pics. Besides her eyes (and I think she sometimes gets subtle lip fillers) she doesn't seem to do anything else. She doesn't fit the perfect kpop ideal to a T but she doesn't seem to care and is confident in her looks and its nice
