yuna's hips look so different i still cant get over it. puberty doesnt make you grow hips overnight, she clearly got a mini bbl or sculpting to fix her small hip insecurity, and people are eating it up 

i feel crazy being one of the only ones noticing how sharp her hips look now, theyre not rounded at all

I always noticed in the past fashion wise she was one of those girlies who always never wore a bra with her tops in tiktoks and such since nothing much was there, though I just saw her pictures from the jingleball today and her recent vacation and I’m like ??

If she did get surgery I hope it was her choice and not her company’s because she’s been pretty depressed lately about not being able to work on new music for awhile. (And honestly as a fan of her’s hearing her talk about being depressed and now suddenly getting surgery kinda concerns me…)

I was thinking we could move to h+? I know the gay thread had a bit of trouble introducing that thread to the site (people seem to be more accepting of the thread now though) so we'll probably face some initial 'backlash' putting this thread there too but h+ seems like a good site because it's basically exactly like this one. I know some people said discord but personally I'm not completely sold on that one because we can't search anything and it would be a bit tricky to have posts be formatted there the way they are here (it's too instant message-y for my taste). But was wondering what everyone else was thinking and we should definitely figure this out before the site closes I'd hate to lose this thread I've been here for years

I feel bad for Yuna, every time there's an article about her it's all about her hips. And because the company doesn't give solo activities to her, there's nothing for people to talk about except her body, which leads to a mess of outsiders overanalyzing and guessing and fans being weirdly over-combative and in denial. All can be solved if she had more prominent solo works, like Wonyoung or Seolhyun who was heavily marketed for her body back in the days. JYP's tendency to fumble the bags with their visual again and again must be studied, did Suzy and friends leave too big of a trauma on them or are they just purposefully treat their female idols like that to bound them to the company even more?

I believe it's to keep them stuck in the group for a long time. Even now, Twice is still not getting as much work as you would expect them to get, so I am not expecting any better for Itzy and Nmixx, JYP just hates individual work, they refuse to give individual power to their idols.

very weird because many of their male idols (i know not all of them but still) manage to get solo deals while still in the group. like what makes JYPE treat their female idols like this? also NMIXX just come back and i can't get over how terrible Sullyoon's hair is...

I will follow the crowd wherever it moves. Recently I've had several tweens on TikTok attack me for "hating" on a certain idol, because someone asked why they looked so different, and I was in a silly helpful mood, so I replied with my assumptions. I can't do this anymore, I need sane people with functioning eyes and brains around me. We can't lose this community

I agree that she's definitely done something to her hips. But has anyone else noticed that her posture has changed A LOT since debut?? She had normal posture during Dalla Dalla era compared to now, where she stands/dances with her chest out, and back arched so her shoulders & hips sit farther back. Compare a Dalla Dalla fancam with a Cake fancam and you'll see what I mean. Even in this^ picture she looks like she's arching her back.

I think she might've gotten used to that posture because it makes her waist look smaller and her hips look bigger. I don't think it'll be sustainable in the long run

Now I just know you don't keep up with TWICE's individual activities at all. Perhaps it just seems like Stray Kids gets "better treatment" with brands because they appear at fashion shows, but it's only really regularly Hyunjin and Felix with a dash of I.N. While Hyunjin has Versace, Felix with Louis Vuitton, I.N with Alexandar McQueen, and Changbin with Samsung, but other than those 4 the rest of the members does not have contracts with brands. Now if we look at TWICE individually as contractual ambassadors/muses + PR ads:

*PR Relations meaning they've done minimum 1 paid advertisement for the brand within 2023 on Instagram/SNS. However they are not ambassadors/muses.

Like you can't tell me TWICE isn't getting any solo deals or growing their individual power. Now did it really have to take 7 years and contract renewals to finally have these things? No way! But TWICE is bagging brands, and it can't even be denied when listed all out. I didn't even include the fashion events/pop up members had attended this year.

As for ITZY, while true they may not have any individual deals yet. However they, for sure, have gotten the most 'fair' magazine photoshoots individually any JYPE groups have gotten so far in 2023. This is ITZY's individual activities for 2023, as you can see all members received a fair distribution of activities:

speaking of yuna i was watching a short on youtube some days ago dedicated to her hips with a before and after and half of the comments was made of stans saying "she didn't do anything!!! it's only puberty!!!" and while i was reading i was like  this habit of some kpop stans to attribute everything to puberty is hilarious, to say the least. 

 

in yuna's case the line between her hips and legs looks way too curved and unnatural to me. 

most women have naturally hips dips also know as "violin hips" (they're called like this bcs they're shaped like a violin) with indentations on the sides of the lower hip area.

you're able to achieve a look similar to yuna with a procedure called "hip dips surgery" (which is a form of liposculpting supposed to get rid of indentations on the side of your hips and a leave a smooth curved line from your hips to your thigh by redistributing fat from another area and use it to fill in the dips in order to achieve a more rounded look) or a BBL :>>

i suspect also a vaser liposuction (which is less invasive that a standard lipo) on her waist to make it look smaller and achieve that hourglass figure she has now but i'm not that sure.

Anyone with an account can start a new thread there. You can also just revive the old thread/ask mods to transfer OP rites to you. I might make one if nobody else does before OH shutdown but I don't have a lot of free time and am focusing on the gay thread : /

Love when people make videos like this and it immediately shows you what the person has done/how they’ve changed over the years. His eyes being so much bigger (and I knew he did his eyes but seeing a comparison like this reminds me just how much he's touched them. I was following him while he was doing these changes so I got used to all the little changes while they were happening but forgot how big of a difference they actually made) like his irises being cut off at the top and bottom and now almost his whole iris is visible + how different his inner corners look now too and the little changes in this lips and lower face/jaw area

I wish I could put my time on it but I work very long days and am in the middle of a work reorganizations and wedding preparations. So I don’t have the time either, unfortunately.

Seunghan from Riize's debut compared to the now

Now:

 

The first thing that stands out to me is how his eye and face width shapes changed. His Predebut's face had a long and skinny face with a pointy-shaped chin. Now his face seems more balanced and wider. I'm going to guess it's a chin wing implant. Eyes look slightly more open and wider. Honestly, his surgeries seem very subtle compared to SM normally goes overboard.

hopefully, during his long hiatus, SM won't make  its not like it'd be the first time for them tho stupid decisions and he doesn't come back with other enhancements because SM obsessively tends to destroy perfectly fine faces and he's one of the members with the most tasteful and subtle work (thankfully the rest is way too busy to get their faces bulldozed and get something aside from injectables, at least for now)

 

also funny how seunghan's already had a pointy chin and it got leveled a bit while a lot of other people under this company have been getting chin implants since the dawn

I don’t think it’s a BBL because she doesn’t show the characteristic dimpling or tooth shape and I’m skeptical she would have enough fat to harvest and we would probably see the dimpling associated with that as well. My guess would be something more like Sculptra.
