I'm not denying any possible plastic surgery rumors from some idols posted here, but it's hard to compare a picture of them from when they were younger to a picture of them now and call it valid evidence (unless there's a severe change in like, jaw structure or something that's clearly different). When you go from a child to a teenager and then to an adult, things change a lot in your face. It's not always plastic surgery.

 

For example...

 

Leonardo Dicaprio looks different than he used to back in his Titanic days.

 

 

 

Granted, the age gap is bigger than the idols being discussed here but I think my point gets across? ;;

Your Leonardo Dicaprio example is the perfect example of why many idols get jaw shaving. Some are harder to identify but if you look closely and it at different angles. Your example proves my point perfectly. Your jaw will get squarer and broader as you age, it will not magically turn into a v-line and get smaller and slimmer. Also your nose will always get bigger and flatter, not small and more up-right.

 

To sum up my answer. Your features always get broader, sharper and more angular as you age and not smaller, slimmer, and up-right. Most of the time you cannot blame "puberty" as an excuse for why an idol did not get ps.

The natural aging process is definitely a factor of why some idols get jaw shaving procedures too.

 

Basically, if their jaw gets smaller as they get older then they've most likely had something done. But if it hasn't/stays similar/gets slightly bigger/has more bone structure then they might not have had anything... I was trying to say that using child/teenager vs adult pictures aren't as good of a source. ^^

Yep. There is no point in referring back to childhood pictures. I try to refer back to pre-debut.

Hyoyeon admitted to a nose job

At around 1:29 I think. Well 1st I should recap what they were talking about. Boom,Yeweon and Hyoyeon were talking about if you could get your nose,lips or eyes. Boom and Yeweon said nose but Hyo said lips.

at 0:29 Hyo said “ì´ë¯¸ 했†which means already have/did.

Implying she already had her nose done, because the challenge was for them to all have matched preferences in what they wanted done eyes,nose or lips. Since Hyoyeon’s didn’t match with Booms and Yewon’s answer she told them why “ì´ë¯¸ í–ˆâ€(already did) but noticing her mistake she said ìž… over and over to make Boom forget what she said before because he couldn’t clearly hear her.

I really hope that this is just good lighting and makeup. Because Minzy is still really young. By the look of the four photos it seems she got two nose jobs at most.

This one doesnt have a good angle, but from here to the next one it looks the same:

 

This picture is at a different angle as well but it's hard to tell. And from here to the next it seems this is where she started to get surgery:

 

 

The bridge is more prominent than before and the tip of her nose is slimmer.

Here it looks like she got another nose job to touch-up her nose, because in this one her bridge is slimmer than the last.

 

Anyways since no one has brought up Yoona's rhinoplasty speculation, I will find some images for it.

    I don't think there is a need to speculte if Yoona got a nose job. But we can discuss how many and what she did. Personal opinon I think she only reduced her tip, everything else seems to be the work of makeup

Do you think yoona did her jaw, why?Just a heads up, I AM going to compare childhood photos because they are still reliable, and puberty is not a valid excuse.

 

This is one of her most viewed pre-debut photos. See how she has a square jaw?(no v-line)

 

Then we go to this:

 

Her jaw is still squarish but it's sorta of egg-shaped because her face got longer during puberty. This is where you can also tell that she got nose surgery as well.

Then these photos show where she is starting to get known as an actress and model before SNSD debuted. Her face is still egg-shaped.

This where she started to get her jaw slightly shaved.

 

2013:

These ones are really good profile pictures from this year that I found. You can tell that the protruding bone from the side of her jaw is gone, and she has achieved the v-line face shape. You can also notice that her chin is pointer and protrudes more than before.

I consider jaw shaving a serious operation and obviously the higher tiers include everything in the lower tiers dent? What dent?

Wow kinda hypocritical of her. Didn't she preach this year about how she wasnt getting surgery because she believed in herself and whatnot?

When did this tier ranking layout come about in this thread?

 

I think it's more efficient to do everyone individually.

yep obviously...... just  because Jessica had jaw surgery I'm not allowed to talk about jaw surgery in other idols? my point is that people never talk about male idols surgeries..... we already know that most snsd members have at least something done.  

My point was if you were going to say no then you would be biased. Anyway, that Baekhyun jaw thing is debatable, because the same thing happens to Yoona. The pictures need to be at the same exact angle in order for you to compare.

Why do girl group member usually get it worse after some plastic surgeries/other cosmetic correction, while boys don't (like Baekhyun and Chen look just fine now if not even better).

I mean look at Bom, Zinger, Soyeon, etc

Because they get many plastic surgeries that's the difference. They keep fixing something that doesn't need to be fixed.

Yeah she has a crease when she smiles etc, but it's not double eyelids. And she has that "crease" since her predebut.

 

 

This is a double eyelids.

Not all double eye-lid creases look the same and her crease is way too deep for it not to be a double eye-lid.

Maybe, but I'm pretty sure she doesn't have. When you look this photo, there isn't anything. So I think it's a crease, a double eye lid is there all the time. I have the same with my eyes. When I smile or look in front of me, I have creases.

I mean some of you say that this or that celeb did plastic surgery as if you're so sure. Because, really, with some debatable ones, you'll never know unless the celeb admits it.

 

Wouldn't it be best to say, I think this celebrity did this type of plastic surgery etc?

It wouldn't make a difference. The last few page have been talking about breasts. What debatable ones? You don't need to be a plastic surgeon to analyze someone. Knowing basic anatomy, physiology, biology is enough. Edited December 26, 2013 by Chrysanthemum

You can't regrow jaw bone, and by shaving off her jaw so much she messed up her chin. Everything she got done basically messed up most of her facial features. Getting teeth fixed due to braces isn't plastic surgery. I'm pretty sure Sulli got carboxy shots. Actually I'm sure that Sulli was discussed in here awhile back.

It sounds really scary and dangerous. Are there any idols that are suspected of getting this procedure?

Jaw surgery is risky and dangerous as well but that doesn't stop idols and other from getting it.

 

This one sounds really scary though. I haven't noticed in anyone with a decrease in their waist size.

It's a Cosmetic Enhancement.

My point was that it is not cosmetic surgery.

There are two different types of Cosmetic Enhancement. Surgical and Non surgical.

 

Most of the time non surgical methods are non permanent and has less noticeable change while Surgical you can and it's permanent. Braces is non surgical but its still COSMETIC ENHANCEMENT. I didn't say Surgery did I?

So why are you telling me that it isn't surgery when I clearly said that it wasn't before?
