I mean, the difference is clear even from a front photo

His after picks are clearly the result of a nose implant. See how in the before photos the profile of his nose is a smooth curve, while in the after there's a sharp, almost angular curve and then the rest of the nose is completely straight? There's a saying in plastic surgery "straight lines don't exist in nature." That is clearly not gonna be achieved by contouring or fillers either. That shape of nose is a clear indicator of a nose implant without even looking at the before photos. 

 

His implant has settled a little and looks a little more natural now.

Looking at her predebut picks, I see probable lateral canthoplasty. In this photo, we can clearly see a slightly hooked nose but during her promotion periods it looks straight in profile, so it's probably filler + contouring that makes her nose look different during promotions. Her chin also does look different. It was quite broad before. I think it was shaved, but without a predebute profile photo it's hard to say if any other jaw work was done.  

See how the bottom of her iris is not totally visible initially, but afterwards it's completely visible and more of the sclera is visible on the outside as well. I can't tell if the nose change is just contouring+shoping or an allarplasty. Her nose is slightly hooks which makes me think it's natural, but I'm not sure. 

 

 

Can anyone find a predebut photo where she isn't smiling? That would be very helpful.

I don't think masseter botox really makes your face "more defined." It makes the jaw slimmer but your jaw can be wide and still defined in my opinion. While it's very popular, There's no way that idols like Taeyong or V are getting it. I also don't think that idols who already got jaw shaves wouldn't bother, because the effect is pretty subtle and might look weird on a person w an already shaved jaw. And it also is used to treat teeth grinding, which is can be caused by anxiety and stress. Didn't Jin mention that he was getting it because of his jaw tension problems?

Looking at his side profile, I really hope it's just botox and a chin fillers. His natural jaw was honestly so nice I can't believe SM. The thing is he had an implant during SM Rookies and then had it removed! I thought that SM had come to their senses but no the obsession with a "V-line" Jaw is still going strong.

Nah, it's true that V's jaw has gotten wider over time, but that's actually not that uncommon for men for the jaw to keep developing until mid 20's. If you look at his photos over time you can see it widened gradually over the years. It's still not even as wide as his fathers so it might get even wider (also his dad was so hot omg). I know he got a rhinoplasty but I don't think he got anything else. Also I'm curious why you think Taeyong got a shave, his jaw is wide and the mandible angle is well defined. Furthermore, it isn't actually straight but has a bump in it. It looks nothing like what I associate w a jaw shave. He might have gotten a chin implant. I guess the height of the mandible (IDK what it's called) is pretty short tho. But honestly I'm not that familiar w Taeyong, are they any good pre-debut side profile pics?

Surprisingly, people have barely discussed Infinite here. I think they might truly be one of the most natural groups. L's nose seems too prefect to be real, but it hasn't changed much so ID even K. I think Woohyun got a nose implant, and maybe Sunkgyu, Sungjong, and Hoya as well, but other than that I really can't see anything. Hoya also might have gotten some sort of blepharoplasty? His eyes look taller but it's not double eyelid surgery or canthoplasty. They all look remarkably similar to they childhood photos. Sungjong and Hoya have some of the best bone structures in kpop in my opinion, I'm so glad they left their jaws alone. 

 

 Dongwoo's lips are really what every overfilled insta model wishes they could have lol. 

 

Sungyeol also has really great nice lips.

TBH though V's jaw and cheekbone implants were spotted by another poster here. Personally I did spot his rhinoplasty and eye work though

IDK what the other poster said, but I really do not believe he had either. They are popular procedures in America but pretty much unheard of in Kpop. The only idol I can think of w jaw implants is Jaehyun and that was just to restore his jawline to it's original shape after the disastrous shave. I don't know of any idols w cheek bone implants, in fact they typically shave them (like Irene) cause they don't like a super cheek bone prominent look in Kpop. As I said b4, his bone structure developed over time rather than changing all at once.

I'm pretty sure if she was an idol everyone would be screaming "nose job" "jaw shave" "hmm fillers also" but this girl is 100% natural and did facial massages everyday to sculpt her face. So yes you can see changes in your face w/o resorting to PS. Sometimes weight loss can also drastically change your face. 

I know I'm gonna get negative reactions but that's something I have always wanted to share here. Stop being so full sure of yourself

LMAO this girl literally just lost weight. The changes you get by losing weight are not at all the same as those you get from plastic surgery.

Dude please don't use words like "Caucasoid" and "mongoloid" they are super fucking racist. They are based on "race science" classifications from the 1800 and have no real scientific meaning. 

Also for the filler, shaving thing. It's all about trying to find a balance of high but not prominent cheekbones, and round but not too round cheeks. There's also a difference between injecting fillers over the cheekbone to give you a more prominent cheekbone (don't do this it never works well) vs injecting filler into the buccal fat pad to give more round cheeks. Actually I don't think that many idols do buccal fat removal, but a lot of Hollywood starts do bc they want prominent cheekbones and sunken cheeks.  It's funny how surgeries popular in America are sometimes the exact opposite of what's popular in Korea. Jaw and cheekbone implants, vs shaves and v-line contouring, buccal fat removal vs cheek fillers. Allarplasties, canthoplasties, blepharoplasties, and lip fillers seem popular everywhere tho. In fact sometimes Koreans complain that Korean American celebrities like Daniel Dae Kim or the guy from the Try Guys are "too ugly" but people here think they are hot.

Also the nose is quite subtly done, You can see in the 45 degrees pics you posted how his bridge is slightly taller than it was before while maintaining his overall natural shape. Such exquisite work. 

He really looks like a natural. 

It looks like a "wing implant" which is put on the side of the jaw to make it symmetrical. You can see his face got wider on one side not narrower on the other. It would also cause the chin to get bigger, I don't think it's a separate chin implant or fillers. His nose might have gotten a bit taller, but it's so slight that I think it's natural and not an implant. they don't really make implants that small, although they could make a custom one. This wing implant looks like this, but would be custom made to be only on one side, and the chin.

Exactly what I mean about the differences between American and Korean surgeries. All of Eugene's insecurities were related to Korean standards that are different in America. Nobody cares about ur face size and all men want more square jaws not v-shape. If he went to a Korean plastic surgeon for a consult, they would probably recommend a jaw shave or restructuring, a cheekbone shave, allarplasty, and blepharoplasty or double eyelid surgery. Plus skin whitening. Also did anyone else notice him saying that 6 year olds in Korea are getting surgery?!!! That's gonna end badly.

We talked about it a couple pages back. Correction of ptosis (drooping eyelid)/possible lazy eye (that can be caused by ptosis). That could be fixed with our without surgery, depending on it's severity. If it was surgical, it would probably be considered reconstructive and not aesthetic tho. Very minor shaving of the nose tip.

Allarplasty and lateral canthoplasty. Both rather obvious even without before picks. Either they sent Lovelyz to a different doctor than they sent Infinite, or that clinic is only good w male faces and not female ones.

what do people think of mijoo? to me she's had a transformation over time but i cant pinpoint exact changes. i think shortly after debut she lost some weight and kept it off, her cheeks were rounder and now her face seems more obviously diamond shaped. which it seemed to be naturally but at some point there was an uncanny feel.. she is known to have a big mouth, but now it looks more off balance sometimes when she smiles as well as her teeth. but also i think lots of her current makeup styles particularly her eyebrows arent the most flattering.

Her nose tip seems a bit pointier. Maybe an allarplasty but the difference is not that much. She's changed her makeup style to have a lot more contouring as well as losing weight. Also possible chin fillers but it's very slight and I'm not sure.

I don't think anybody here is a real plastic surgeon or doctor, so take whatever advice you with several grains of salt. I'd recommend just googling ur questions and looking at the personal websites of top surgeons to see what information they have about certain procedures.

Body dysmorphia. I used to suffer from it severely so I understand. You'd think that being called handsome all the time would help, but it actually can make it worse. The reason is that people commenting about your appearance a lot only causes you to think about your appearance more, which causes the excessive thoughts and worrying about appearance that lead to dysmorphia. In my case, I saw myself as quite fat despite being very underweight, and people commenting about how skinny I was only made me obsess over my weight more. When you obsess over a thought, it becomes distorted and exaggerated in your mind. Eventually, you cannot see yourself accurately when looking in the mirror. One part of healing dysmorphia is to let go of thoughts about your appearance, negative or positive, which is really hard if people keep talking about it. I had to literally ask people I know to not comment on my weight any longer. I'd imagine that in the look-obsessed modern entertainment industry, this is pretty much impossible.

IDK It's got the look of an allarplasty to me, but the doctor would have to be pretty bad to leave the nostrils uneven like that. If anything, they actually look more uneven now. He might have been the victim of an unskilled "shadow doctor." Or just picked a bad surgeon.
