let’s talk about itzy (my ults)!! it’s become more obvious to me that itzy yuna’s nose looks different lately. she used to have such a distinct and pretty nose, large and really angular nostrils but super cute looking imo. but recently her nose suddenly looks much thinner and less bulbous.

the width of the nostrils have definitely been reduced and they also seemed to have shaved the overhanging tip. must have happened between wannabe and not shy era.

i know that most itzy members have had subtle predebut procedures like yeji’s nose job to make her tip smaller and bridge longer/straighter as well as chin fillers/(v line?) jaw surgery. lia’s had fillers and possible nose job as well etc. but this just makes me sad coz even tho the procedure was done well and not botched, yuna’s nose was already super cute before and one of her defining features for me, and i don’t think this nose suits her too well because she has large features in general.

all the members recently got lip fillers as well which just ..... i really hate lip fillers on anyone ;—; i wish the kpop industry would stop the ps addiction and leave idols’ faces alone when they’re all already so stunning!

yeji’s v line surgery i was actually a random throw sorry, to be honest i think it is more likely to be chin fillers or something. i’m not familiar with jaw surgeries so that’s why i just said v line so please correct me if i’m wrong. i just think that her jaw/chin area looks quite different from predebut times. it’s hard to tell because this area of the face does change according to weight and she is very skinny at the moment so it might be that.

I didn't find anything for Jungkook, so maybe he didn't have one, or maybe he did idk

I knew alarplasties were common, not this common tho, and I wasn't really expecting Jin and V to have had an alarplasty, but then again, the results are so subtle sometimes that without the scars as evidence, no one would have suspected anything

what is an alarplasty and how is it different rhinoplasty? i’m pretty sure that taehyung has had a rhinoplasty and a fking good one as well! jimin defo did sth to his nose too to make it more button like. jungkook i think has a pretty obvious implant which u can see the shape of in every side profile of his. namjoon apparently had nose surgery due to breathing problems and it’s common for idols to fix their nose in the same surgery i’ve noticed. i think hobi’s nose is a mystery to everyone and i’m not sure about the other members. 

what do the scars look like btw coz i think i see some scars but i’m not sure if those are actually scars or just marks since i’m not sure where exactly to look.

SO TRUE!! i’m honestly gutted about what’s happening to rowoon’s face. i think beforehand he only had his nose done predebut, but recently idek what’s going on... on kingdom, he looked familiar but slightly different, like just something kinda uncanny abt his face that tells me it’s not the same face as before but i couldn’t pinpoint on what it is. 

but yes, a lot of the times, it’s the really good looking idols who fall into the ps spiral. rowoon, hyunjin, lisa, stayc yoon, joshua, karina...

I would have thought they were completely natural if I didn't see this thread. Maybe it's because they didn't overdo it.

agreed, also add rose coz her procedures were super natural looking and were not overdone, seulgi too. it’s honestly so great when idols just fix what they intended to fix then left their face alone afterwards.

joshua i think recently had a nose implant which u can visibility see here. idk why koreans are obsessed with these nose implants to make their nose tall and western looking (ig it’s an east asian beauty standard coz i’m asian and my mum used to pray for my nose to be taller lmao..) but his nose was beautiful before!

i also think he got botox before home run because his face was suddenly very tight and weird looking?? i thought it was the platinum blonde hair and undercut that made his face look different but that was before i realised half of svt did/does ps so yeah lol. think it was either botox or some face lift.

yeah tbh jeonghan’s nose looks sooo similar to his original one except minus the bump so it was just unnecessary imo. 

do you know if wonwoo’s nose is natural? i think it suits him sooo so well but straight noses like his are rare for east asians so hmmm

i’m actually so shocked by how different yuna looks this cb... after my first post about her i didn’t expect to see another drastic change in itzy. i think something like an epicanthoplasty has been done to her eyes, someone mentioned that yuna is the only one with natural eyes but i fully disagree. i think you can see some scarring on her eye lids actually. her nose is unrecognisable to me and it makes me sad coz i really loved and miss her old nose. 

then i think most members (yeji lia ryujin yuna) did some chin fillers this cb. not sure about chaeryeong coz she hasn’t shown any sign of it in my eyes. but ryujin and lia both look bloated in their promo rn. ryujin’s chin is significantly longer than it was. makes me... so sad :c these girlies are my ults and i really don’t want to see them fall down this hole. yuna’s face looks so stiff when it moves, it literally moves so differently now?! eye stuff could possibly be makeup but since they did other procedures i wouldn’t doubt they did her eyes in the same go as well...

i’m kinda worried that the reason why jyp is keeping hyunjin away for so long is coz he’s doing some procedures right now... coz it really makes no sense why hyunjin is nowhere to be seen for almost 70 days. “to reflect on his past actions” is kinda bs to me. and my biggest fear is that he’s gonna come back with a completely different or botched face because we have all already seen his chin.... i was watching his compilations coz i miss him sm and he actually looks noticeably different 2 years ago compared to recently.  

i’ll love him no matter what he looks like and what he chooses to do with his own face and body ofc. but he’s so gorgeous as he is, i don’t want him to fall into that jyp subtle plastic surgery frenzy.

i think it’s coz mingyu came back quite quickly since pledis actually took the time to investigate thoroughly and defend the artist?? but yeah i rly hope he’s just staying low rather than getting more ps coz idols have a habit of laying low coz of one reason or anything and coming back with a new face... i guess i can’t complain about 2 months at all when you’re a reveluv and y’all have had it worse 🥲

the lip fillers and eye lid surgery are obvious but i also suspects rhinoplasty because her nose is unusually tall in a way that's not proportional to the rest of her face and lets be real, at this point a lot of koreans have had their eyelids and noses done. as for her cheeks, i also find them very tight so i'm guessing fillers.

i knew she had eye lid surgery at a young age before most of her famous pre-debut pics but this was still quite surprising because if i didn't know her in the first place i would not have guessed that they were the same person...

tbh she looked fine with just the eyes and nose but i guess also kinda forgettable, so that’s why sm probably greenlighted the jaw surgery too. as long as she’s happy and she doesn’t suddenly lose control of her jaw then to each their own, hopefully she’s done with everything now. 

the only think that irks me is that they’re using it to criticize her, as if south korea didn’t normalize giving middle schoolers vouchers for plastic surgery as graduation gifts. people wouldn’t be making such a fuzz if this was a middle-tier idol. 

basically (upper) blepharoplasty is eye lid surgery which gives double eye lids, lateral canthroplasty cuts the outer corner of the eyes and epicanthoplasty cuts the inner corners. these procedures are commonly done together. i personally think she mainly did blepharoplasty because her lids are the main difference, as well as lateral canthroplasty to give her eyes the wider look now.

i do feel sad for her when i read what the knets wrote on that article i linked. so many people in sk has had eye surgery so it feels quite hypocritical to be rude to her just for this reason... and being east asian, it makes me sad that monolids are viewed as less desireable and "ugly" and there's such a culture to erase this part of our heritage all because of western idealisation.

eye lid surgeries are performed on teens as young as 13 in sk so i wouldn't be surprised if she was that young. it's just such a shame to me when idols don't get to grow up in the face that they were born with so we'll never know what she'd look like now without the procedures. either way she'd be really pretty imo.

i hope they stop with the fillers on itzy i'm begging... ryujin and yuna in particular have had a lot of cheek and chin fillers recently (the past 6-9 months i'd say) which i find completely unnecessary and it makes them sometimes look uncanny to me. ryujin's weight naturally fluctuates a lot or at least more than the average idol and she lost quite a lot of weight in mitm era but her face remained very full due to fillers. that combined with her makeup and new hair this comeback is probably the reason why she looks different. i loved the way every single member looked at debut the most especially in their natural hairs and minimal procedures but i've noticed that jype loves urging their artists to get more and more (unnecessary) work done a few years after they debut such as skz and twice.

I think this is very typical of jyp if you look at all their past visuals (official or unofficial) such as Suzy, tzuyu, sana, yuna, yeji, now sullyoon and jinni. They really like to find natural beauties who were already very objectively beautiful from a young age, then make small unnecessary tweaks to their faces right before they debut like give them a taller nose or sharper chin etc. That way, they are known for having “natural beauties” especially in contrast to SM because no one can look at predebut photos of their idols and say they weren’t pretty. And since most people from the general public do not know about ps and aren’t able to spot the telltale signs of a rhinoplasty, lower blepharoplasty, jaw surgery etc, they are fooled into thinking that jyp idols are surgery free.
 

Jyp idols also seem to do a lot of post-debut procedures so I wonder what sullyoon will look like in 2 years time… at least jyp’s nose surgeon seem to have improved in the past few years, I’ll never forgive whoever it was who gave yeji such lopsided nostrils…

Ngl I thought that was jungwon at first glance and sunghoon at second glance… hybe’s obsession with the ski slope nose is terrifying. Taehyung’s nose was the best one they’ve ever done. From txt onwards, I’m afraid this kinda nose is all we’re gonna see from them, LITERALLY downhill from that point ⛷

noses that have been operated on shrink over time. namjoon had his nose job years ago so it’s no surprise that a few years down the line, it looks skinnier than it used to be. correct me if i’m wrong but i don’t think he’s done more to his nose since.

Also about Yeji: Did she debut natural? it does seem unlikely from a well of big 3 group but if I had to place the pic I’d say it’s after debut sometime. Her eyes could be done maybe but the rest of her face from that time does look natural in my opinion. If she had done anything there, it’s barely visible to me. 

yeji had a rhinoplasty to give her a taller nose which is obvious compared to her predebut nose and you can also tell by the asymmetry of her nostrils. she also had upper and lower blapheroplasty, lateral canthroplasty and lots of filler. here’s a post that outlines all her procedures:

jyp likes to do very subtle work so it’s not easy to spot for people who don’t know ps well! but just a rule of thumb, 99% of idol have had ps and most have done their eyes and nose.

in the last picture in particular, she looks like yuna when itzy just debuted. they have very similar nostrils and probably had the same implant before yuna changed her nose again.. also judging by how lopsided her nose looks in the first pic, you’re likely right.

it’s hard to tell based on heavily edited concept photos but she definitely looks different.

her lips have been filled, her nose looks different in the teaser video but i can’t put my finger on it, she probay had her jaw shaved too. the lateral canthoplasty is quite obvious since her eyes look wider at the bottom, more white is exposed, but that also might be editing. not sure if any other procedures were done but i guess we’ll see…
