Apparently, she was 17 in that photo but she already looked like a doll and I wonder if that was all natural.

I believe all of these were taken around the same era, 2007-2009 when cyworld was still around so she was in her late teens. Could she have anything done here? Because her nose already looked suspicious and her eyes had a very defined crease. Besides that she had a square-ish face shape and a prominent chin which you can still see in her earlier YouTube videos:

Over the years she started getting chin and lip fillers, her cheeks also look fuller and her face shape is softer:

+ bonus: not a screenshot from her videos but an actual live photo lol

She admitted having an eyelid surgery I believe due to some health issues but other than that I don't remember her mentioning any beauty procedures or other plastic surgery.

What do you guys think? I've noticed at least one nose job, obviously an eyelid surgery (possibly more than one), a lot of fillers, maybe an aegyosal filler too, some alterations around her jawline and veneers/braces.

 

I always thought she was the prettiest person on earth, I think somehow she got all her old photos deleted. She used to look very very different. I think she's had everything done, botox, jaw surgery, eye surgery, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, chin implant, lip fillers. 

I have never seen her live picture... she looks so weird, maybe she has one of those faces that look good in 2D but look anime and weird in person, like gangnam unnie.

Here's my opinion...

Here you can see the outline of her nose implant









The screenshot doesn't show very well, but if you watch the video her chin implant seems very odd and seems like something is protruding forwards in the centre of her chin, I think she might need to get a revision on it , im worried there's something there sticking and it will slowly protrude more and more.









Here's a very clear side profile of her cheeks and chin, her cheeks protrude a lot more than what's usually naturally possible, which is probably filler or implant.



here i'm not completely sure but I think u can see the outline of her chin implant:


nayeon has very low body fat (for sure), and maybe her skin is thinner than usual (?) which is why her implants are more visible than other people.


also if you compare her forehead to the "bottom half of her face" i.e. her cheeks down to her chin it feels very puffy / bloated, 
some would argue she's just bloated, but I would say this is likely filler.
some would also argue it's just lighting / angle

Here are some close up so you guys can see more clearly (they're the shiny/red lines beneath her nostrils):

make me think she had some tip work done too in addition to an alarplasty.

To be fair, I think her nose work dates way back. I already see alarplasty scars in the pic on the left from when she was a trainee.  

Here, however, I do see a slightly wider nose on the left than the one she has today (on the right.)

I think alarplasties are more common than a lot of us, myself included, realize. I think a lot of idols have had them, including ones who's noses look very similar to before. (The change from a conservative alarplasty can be VERY subtle). While looking for pictures of Jisoo, I found a shot of Lovelyz Jisoo. Being me, I immediately looked up her nose and saw what looks like alarplasty scars there as well. 

SF9's Hwiyoung is another idol who's nose I thought was natural, but he, like both Jisoos, seems to have alarplasty scars:

We talked about WJSN's Bona a while back and she's another example of an idol without obvious nose work but with scars that seem to point to a subtle alarplasty.

 

I definitely agree that Jisoo has had some nose job (maybe multiple) including alarpasty and probably other things... I'm no expert spotting nose jobs...

After looking up alarpasty scars for the last 10 minutes I think I'll never consider a nose job ever again....

But I've been staring at the photos like a dumbass for like 10 minutes... and I can't see these 'scars', do you have an example of what they would look like if they were more obvious / can you circle them in the pictures, because I'd really like to know how to spot potential alarpasty scars!!!

overall I feel like if she did do jaw surgery, it would have been extremely minor, maybe some shaping, and shaving no more than a milimeter (maybe even half a milimeter) at any area.

the biggest change for mina I would say is her chin, by installing a chin implant (I would guess they use implant not filler because filler moves within a few years and loses its shape, it can flatten, move downwards) by installing a chin implant your face instantly looks longer and more elongated.  

one more thing that people do is a "buccal fat removal" where they remove some (or all)  of their buccal fat in the cheeks, this can make your side profile look slimmer, I don't really know how to spot that unless it's super obvious (i.e. they had a lot of buccal fat before and suddenly removed 90% of it) and how much the buccal fat protrudes from the face can also depend on your bone structure...

Now, we usually don't get to see straight up an idol's nose like this (which is probably for the best tbh), but luckily alarplasty scars are still visible from the front as long as the idol's head isn't tilted too far down and forward. The scars are probably not going to be apparent in all photos because it seems stylists typically try to cover them with makeup, but there are plenty of pics out there where scars are visible:

I'm going to use is the lovely Seulgi for my example.

She has alarplasty scars in both her nostrils. Sometimes, they are harder to make out then others, but here are some pictures where they are visible:

I think it's just a bad angle & lighting, or filters, sometimes the harsh stage lights, cameras flatten your face, which is why everyone gets implants/fillers, they look better on camera.

I would guess DEFINITELY fillers. this is probably 5+ YEARS of fillers being accumulated. 

maybe also chin implant? but I think most westerners prefer fillers because they are non invasive. 

maybe also buccal fat removal, he could have had this done like 10 years ago.

I reckon everyone and their mom is doing botox, this is not just happening in Korea, it's such a common procedure in most metropolitan cities. Jisoo is a good example I feel where her forehead barely ever moves compared to videos and gifs of when she first debuted, in particular when she laughs. because when she laughs she's very expressive and cute

I would bet money that she's had buccal fat removal. Buccal fat removal is one of the most difficult surgeries to spot. And most of the time only a small portion to achieve a slimming effect. I would bet that 99 percent of anyone who's even slightly famous in Kpop has had this procedure same for Botox.

If you watch her music video with that guy... g dragon? from 8 years ago you can really see she's completely changed her face. Most obvious things are eyes, forehead, and the chin / jaw reduction. the bottom half of her face is so cute and tiny now compared to before which gives her a child like appearance. 

 

For her forehead, I would guess it's a silicon implant. With a silicon implant you can be very precise with the shape and size, a fat graph you don't get that control, and you can't guarantee it will look the same years later. Silicon implants can also be revised year on year

This picture is from late 2020 and I thought it was just eyelid tape because the crease looks pretty deep and defined


This is from her upcoming drama (they filmed for the past couple of months I think) and I noticed the crease looks deeper than I remember. I don't think she has eyelid tape in this one. It looks like she has a lot more eyelid space though

It definitely looks like she did an eyebrow lift. They literally cut your face off following the hairline from ear to ear around the forehead. and then cut a little cutout. and then sew it back together. You can watch people do the procedure on YouTube. It's F R E A K Y. 

but omg she looks GORGEOUS IN THE LAST PICTURE. her eyebrows are slanted now and not straight. it reminds me of the famous Ariana Grande eyebrow lift. so I think you might be right. her neutral expression has completed changed. 

you're right maybe it's eyelid tape / glue, maybe it's some eye surgery. 

as for zac you're right, I forgot about the steroid moon face. every American actor has been on the roids. even the rock.

After, her face slim & those round cheek aren't visible as before. 

 

The difference is between her cheekbones & jaw, it looks slimmer & more contoured (?) Her round cheeks are gone & her cheekbones pop out more

 

 

I feel like after boombaya she had a (another(?)) eye surgery, looks like the outer corner of her eyes. 

And I'd definitely guess that she's had the orthognathic surgery on her jaw to make her face look more child like. she looks like a Barbie doll. I don't feel like a jaw shaving could have achieved what she looks like in the newer pictures. 

Just look at the gifs of her jaw in comparison to her forehead in the 2 gifs. her jaw looks so small now compared to her forehead, before it looked more equal in size.

She got a blepharoplasty and her inner eye corners blunted with an epicanthoplasty. Also shaved down her nose cartilages + brought her nostrils in in order to make it slimmer. Something I've learnt over the years is that people always stress over one thing about themselves, when in reality they have so many good things going for them. Having "cheeks" is not necessarily a bad thing, Jennie is famous even though she has chubby cheeks, there are idols who loved by some people with "unwanted features" like chubby cheeks, round face, square jaw. We can't choose what genetic attributes we are born with.

If you want the easy way out, yes you can have buccal fat removal / jaw surgery / masseter reduction botox to make your face look "slimmer". But the main reason why people get so stressed out about their "ugly features" is really they are not happy with who they are they want to be like <insert-famous-beautiful-person-here> because their life is so perfect they must be so happy and carefree, and they have so many people who love and swoon over them. Sometimes stressing over an "ugly feature" is a symptom of the problem, and not the problem itself.

Imo denying idols undergo cosmetic procedures are actually leading to bigger problems in both idols and fans.

you make extremely good points. especially the last one. I actually have thought about getting buccal to look more chic, idol, model like. 

but again no one can exactly prove anyone's undergone surgery. But we can all see with our eyes and judge and understand different surgeries and potential ways to spot them. Unfortunately so many plastic surgeries cannot be spotted through video, picture or even in person. but extremely minor changes can completely change a person along with makeup and hair changes and sometimes even diet.

Yes I remember the chin implant discussion and screenshots, well done. It's pretty obvious from those pictures she had most likely implants. (fillers lose shape quickly)

I'm not sure what contributes to the pillow face. One theory is that fillers after many years of migration, or the accumulation of multiple filler injections over several years will result in pillow face. Another theory is it could be related to hormones, and thyroid problems. Some say there are certain drugs you can take to increase your metabolism, some people take this to help lose weight and appear skinnier, so maybe that can also affect it ??? Also, it could be a combination of all these factors.

EXID is a good example of pillow face. I'm really sad because these girls are so beautiful, and I think they would look much more beautiful back then AND now if they didn't have ANY fillers done. I also think if they didn't have so many modifications and was more natural they would look much more beautiful today.

Keep in mind that all videos you see are filtered, at the very least there is some skin smoothing and removal of imperfections:

If you go to a good dentist. The dentist can identify the glue and polish it off as part of check up. 

If you had a good orthodontist they shouldn't have left any glue on your teeth. It could be placebo effect it could be residue glue I hope it gets better

WOW, you know i am always searching on google for "before and after plastic surgery" pictures on lots and lots of kpop idols. BUT THESE TWO PICTURES I HAVE NEVER SEEN! this is amazing. I was wondered why YooA's eyes always look so big. Thank you for sharing this!!!

I think from this picture it's pretty obvious she had a few eye surgeries and she must ALWAYS be wearing like 15 or 16mm contacts... 
it also looks like her nose has been slightly altered, but that's hard to say with confidence. 

and her cheeks... either implants or fillers, i would guess implants, fillers change and flatten over a few years.
