taehyung: rhinoplasty and a hairline transplant! that aside, his glowup has been very gradual, so i'd chalk it up to improved styling and him growing into his looks.

if he uses any fillers, then he's very subtle about it unlike the other members. after he lost his baby fat, his face has become very gaunt and bony like the rest of him, which is a stark contrast to the bloated look fillers tend to give.

 

 

jungkook: one of the best nosejobs in the biz - a bit slimmer from the front and much straighter/taller in profile but otherwise near identical, epicanthoplasty, raised his natural double eyelids sometime before wings era

 

It's interesting but i think you're rearching a bit for some of these, Namjoon's jaw has the same shape and your before/after pics doesn't really show differences. Also Suga still has his flat button nose (more obvious when he smile) with same shape & width, and small "triangle shaped" eyes with asymmetric eyelids.

Probably the other members had things done too. I know that Hoseok's nose has been a topic of discussion, and I've seen Jungkook's and Jimin's eyes in another post too -I thought their eyes changed due to make up and better styling lol it never ocurred to me it could be plastic surgery

Apparently Suga had to undergo multiple cortisone shots through the years to relieve the pain of his damaged shoulder. Cortisone can make you bloat has a side effect, i'm not saying he never had fillers but some of his unflattering look could be related to health problems.

I really can't see it on the pictures posted above or others I've found on Google. RM's jaw doesn't go straight from his chin to his ears, it isn't a typical V shape and still has the same small "angle" as predebut. The only difference, apart from nose, is that he used to have fuller cheeks and it's natural after dieting.

suga's nosejob is actually up there with jungkook's as one of the best. it's like they just shrunk the entire thing a couple sizes and made the tip a little perkier. that's why you can't say it's the same nose by solely looking at the nose itself - you have to look at it in relation to his other features. suga has a very small mouth for example, and his nose used to actually be the same horizontal length as his lips, whereas now his nose is much smaller in comparison. (also everyone's noses become wider and flatter when they smile, so you should always compare their resting faces)

i will retract my statement about his eyes though. i just searched up some barefaced pics of him and his eyes basically look the same as they did predebut! i think i underestimated the power of good makeup

 

this is very interesting and actually makes a lot of sense!

i still think he gets fillers semi regularly, but this would explain the sudden bloating he sometimes gets, because if that was due to the fillers it wouldn't subside in a week. it would also make his face PERMANENTLY bigger/fuller, yet there are times (like my example pic) where his face reverts back to being thin and elastic again (without the visible sagging that usually comes with it).

Here you can compare a predebut pic of Yoongi with a screeshot of his recent Vlive. We can see his nose still has the same shape or width it used to have, even in comparison to his lips. And honestly i don't see the point of having PS if it's to still have a nose as large as a result. 

For exemple, Yeji's nose always looks better than her before pics no matter in what angle you see her (exemple of subtle improvement), but here for Suga it looks even wider than predebut lol

Idk on your blond Suga pic his nose looked smaller than it usually is when you see him up close, maybe the angle wasn't natural and he had heavy makeup? 

 

 

When it comes to RM, i don't think he would have this uneaven bump under his ears (idk what it is) after a jawshave, a korean surgeon would make it symetrical and smooth. Also he doesn't have the typical androgynous face of other male idols who shaved their jaws. 

I noticed even predebut his jaw looked slim when you see his side profile, but when you see him face-to-face it looks more square(?). Someone below explained it better, and i think it could just be his natural proportion.

From your pictures Taeyong looks exactly the same lol (and the 3th is heavily edited...). When you see him in motion it's obvious he doesn't abuse botox/fillers and is mostly natural. He's not much different from when he was younger apart maybe a slight change in his eyes.

Junkook was and is still good-looking in a slightly different way. I liked his old nose too but it isn't botched or anything, also we can't expect him to have his teenager's facial features forever. I don't think there is better or worse since attractiveness is subjective (... unless surgeon really screw up).

To me Jin, Jimin, Suga, and V, noses look similar to predebut, and I'm not sure about the scars. Still not convinced. 

Namjoon officially had surgery for deviated septum in 2018, J-hope seems botched, and Jungkook's nose looks very different.

Not sure nose tip looks different, light/filters used to whitewash Tzuyu and angles sometimes smooth the contours of her nose. The nasal septum and nostrils have the same shape, recent screenshots :1  2  3  4  5  6

Please don't say he looks creepy it's unnecessarily mean... Taeyong always had really big eyes for a korean boy, that's why it can look a bit too much with the intense eye makeup SM is often giving him + contacts + editing. However when he can show a more natural look he's the same :

Poor boy was overworked to death (Superm, NCT's main rapper/dancer, center/visual, leader, leading dance practices...), bet he didn't even have time to eat despite burning everything with intense dancing. Not surprised he had to take a small hiatus for health reasons. 

I think Taeyong and Baekhyun's situations are a bit different, despite both being heavily overworked. I remember Baek was heavily speculated to have some kind of body dysmorphia and eating disorder, however Taeyong never mentioned body issues or looking "fat".

Right, the word creepy have a really pejorative connotation. Taeyong's eyes already look "uncanny" on his childhood pictures so i don't think it's because of PS (unless he did them as a child). I respectfully disagree on potential eye work : eyelids, shape, width, to me no difference without makeup and editing. 

Body dysmorphia and eating disorders are a big problem in the industry, idols are never good enough for korean beauty standards and public scrutiny/companies keep reminding them of that. Lack of sleep, stress, busy schedules, no freedom, being exploited/objectified, "scandals", sasaeng... Aren't helping either.

Read again, no one ever said Taeyong never had fillers or was the most natural idol in the the industry, in fact i quoted an older comment mentioning he probably had fillers and fat grafts at some point. What some of us are disagreeing with is him having done invasive surgeries. 

You are wrong when you say Taeyong has a V-line, he doesn't, what he has is called a L shaped jaw which isn't ideal for korean beauty standards because it's too strong/angular. It's a good thing he didn't shave it off to have a jaw like Sungchan's. 

Idk what you mean by reduced space between eyelids and eyebrows, it can happens when eyebrows are drawn thicker but i don't see the big difference :  1  Vs  2 ?

I don't understand why some people here think Suga had many procedures like eyes + nose + jaw, he looks mostly natural ?? 

Jaw : I get why Suga is confusing since he has a round chin with full cheeks from the front, but a weak jaw from his side profile. Still because someone have a weak jaw doesn't mean they automatically shaved it, you need to look at predebut pics showing the bone : Predebut 1,  2 vs  BS&T,  Now . Predebut ones have bad resolution but there was nothing to shave in the first place. 

Eyes : No difference in eyelids, corner, width and shape to me. Obvious when filming in the soop where he didn't wear makeup and contacts, his eyes were always "small" for korean beauty standards but that's his charm :  Predebut 1,  2,  3. vs. Now 1,  2,  3

Nose : Maybe, if he had a nose job it would be a pretty pointless one, can't really see any notable difference or improvement, it's still as "big", low, flat and wide (again that's his charm don't misunderstand me) : Predebut 1,  2,  3, vs  Now 1,  2,  3.

That being said I don't think that diminishes him in any way. I liked the cat eyes as someone else said and I don't think he needed a jaw shave but it's his choice and I'm ok with that.

Sana is really interesting since looking at her features there aren't big noticeable changes (subtle lip fillers?), but somehow something feels pretty different in comparison to Sixteen, and not only because of weight loss. Her natural nose is perfect to me.

How can people in this thread use the "idols are too busy to get invasive ps" asinine excuse? As if idols don't plan visits to Dr. Kim's office on the first days of their (short) hiatuses, and start promoting again still looking rough and bloated.

People claiming that Felix touched his jawbone baffle me. It looks obvious to me that it's the flesh of his cheeks that was discarded and botoxed, giving him, seen from the front, a very triangular lower half of the face.

For Sana, her chin implant gave her a sexier visual, befitting of TWICE's maturing concepts.

You need at least 4-12 months to completely heal a procedure like jawshave, with 10-20 days of initial recovery without work/exercice. Even if an idol didn't have official group activities for 2 months it doesn't mean they didn't have other public appearances like vlive, photoshoots, radio, airport pics... And i doubt most kpop group at the beginning of their popularity can afford even 10 days of leaves (no practice). SKZ are a young group at peak overwork, and BTS only had their first 2 month leave in 2019 anything before was Big Hit overworking them. 

Considering that i don't think BTS could have jaw work before 2019 (people were discussing 2016 Yoongi), SKZ is impossible... Current Twice aren't as overworked as they used to be so it's a possibility?  But cheekbone reduction takes 3-6 months for full recovery so it's a bit short and idk if Sana had solo appearance during the 2,5 months without official group activities.

Not an expert but highly doubt Irene shaved her jaw. Also agree Jaehyun's case looks more like botox than shaving.

Makes you wonder for how many idols we jumped on the "jaw's shave" bandwagon when they actually did less invasive procedures.
