I've been a Yezi stan since she first debuted in Fiestar and must I say, I love her with all my heart. The firs time I saw her was when Fiestar debuted in 2012 with Vista and she was the first to sing in that song so I was already fucking taken with her. then I realized later in the song that she was the rapper and holy fuck, that girl can rap. TigerJK himself praised her. She's a monster, killer rapper and she can dance her ass off. Sexy as hell, even a gay man would want a taste of her I swear. When I found out she was going to be on UPRS I was fucking pumped. I instantly thought "My bae is going to kill it." and I wasn't wrong. Though it was a weird start due to the editing the random hate she was receiving based on her resting bitch face, I always stood by my baby. Then that mishap with the live voting happened which was totally bullshit. anyone with eyes and ears could see who the superior rapper was out of Yubin Sua and Yezi. She fucking killed it yet somehow due to bias she was sent down to the bottom three. Wasn't even saved by the judges. I think even Yezi knew she didn't belong there. there wasn't a doubt in my mind that Yezi was going to kill it and show her true talent. She did it all herself and thanked herself which made me fall for her even more. She didn't need anybody's help. My hero Crazy Dog<3

Yup she's adorable it's just mnet trying to make her the mean girl of season 2. I bet mnet edited out so many scene when Yezi talked to the girls just for the sake of 'keeping her character'. I guess it's because the other girls are chill/there's no Jessi character in this season and Yezi got that resting bitch face + fierce eye makeup. I believe in Gilme more than mnet when she said Yezi is a sweety once she's off stage.

 

 

 

But isn't it amazing... Yezi went from getting least screentime, got her chyper cut from broadcast, got 'dumb and stubborn' evil editing, to getting most screentime, being highlight of the show, and viewer's favorite. And I think her Crazy Dog performance is the best moment of ur2. Lol when I watch Dalnara full ver I think I hear one of the male audience shouted "CRAZY DOG!!" right when Yezi appeared Same boy, same.

 

It certainly is quite amazing but I came into this show with my Team Yezi mentality turned on all the way up to 100%. It was very frustrating see how overlooked she was at first but when she fought her way out of the bottom three (which she had no business being there in the first place) and slayed with Crazy Dog, I was like "Yup, that's my bae." I wasn't surprised because I already knew what she was capable of and she keeps improving. 

 

Crossing my fingers that she gets the next track! (totally got robbed last ep.) I need something to bump to.

Yang Dong Geun predicted the winners for the current season of ' Unpretty Rapstar 2'.

 

The longtime rapper was the featured producer on the most recent episode of the show, and he got to see the rappers compete and show their talent. He revealed that there were two idol star rappers who caught his attention. Yang Dong Geun said, "I think Yezi will have an edge because she's good at getting the crowd going."

 

He added, "Hyorin is also getting more and more prominent as time goes on. She's strong with melody, feeling, and performances, so I think she has a wide range in terms of expressing lyrics."

Summary: Although not 100% confirmed, I think it's safe to assume that most of the comments are probably accurate... What people are saying is that the Yezi-Sua team ranked 4th out of 5 teams, so that means the top 3 teams got to vote whether Yezi or Sua gets dropped. At least 4 people voted Yezi; most likely Heize and Truedy (since both are close to Sua), maybe Jiyoon (since she's not close with Yezi), and at least one other person (ouch...her friends). So all of the eliminated contestants participated in the consolation match, and Yezi won, automatically qualifying for semi-finals.

 

 

 

EDIT: If anyone sees something regarding Yezi's status, please let me know and I'll try to translate it for you guys.

 

What is the evidence based on this? I really want to know. This makes zero sense to me. How is gods name did this happen? And why on planet earth would they ever let the other girls decide the vote? DUMB! Praying this shit is false. I heard at first that it was Hyorin and KittiB that got eliminated then it was EXY and Kasper now they are saying its three people getting crossed out and they save one member? What kind of fualty elimination system is this??? And wasn't that consolation match denied? Zero sense is made. I need truth.

I'm honestly more curious how on earth did Yezua duo get #4 place. Maybe one of them forgot lyrics, maybe the other teams just did really good, or those 10 judges are biased lol.

 

If Yezi really did rematch at least that means more screentime for her, like how we got Crazy Dog. But I hope mnet mentioned the rematch before Yezi is eliminated because I don't want to hear conspiration theory haters would say "ohhh mnet did rematch only because they want Yezi back". Scew off. Mnet always do evil editing for Yezi even after she did well they still potray her as the mean bitch.

 

I still wish she still managed to snatch #1 in the end but what's more important is the promotion after the show. I really don't wanna bash whoever winner is I think I would get over that quickly. I'm glad she got so much positive feedback with her talent alone.

That's why there's also possibility the judges are biased. Maybe they don't want to vote for Sua because she's YG trainee (it may hurt their pride or 'streed cred', lol dumb reasoning tho, if she did well why put blind eyes on her?) or because Yezi is a nugu idol compared to Yub and Jenyer they might got starstruck so they refused to recognize Yezi's talent.

 

You know some of them (Nuck, D.O, Rhymer, Vasco) are the same people who gave Kisum and Jimin highest(?) or second highest score last season. They got some flack for that for whatever reasons so maybe they're just scared they would get bashed if they pick the youngsters idols again?

 

But then there's also YDG in the judges line up he even praised Yezi I really don't want to believe the #4 rumour

 

 

 

These rumors are so scattered and unclear. I really have no idea what's going on. I just saw another preview on naver and the Yezi and Sua performance looks awesome. Everyone else from what I've seen and I'm not even being bias here isn't all that great. Heize was out of breath and raspy sounding but Truedy did well so she must have of course carried that team. Yubin was also pretty solid but Jiyoon was pretty cringey as always. KittiB and Hyorin were okay with KittiB doing quite well. Kasper and EXY are def out because theirs was super snooze festish. I'd have to see all performances to give my honest opinion but a lot of Yezi stans are twitter are reassuring me that Yezi and Sua do well so i'm not too worried but then again i'm really freaking out.

Maybe the other teams seem 'fun' while Sua and Yezi did 'hard' or fierce rap so the guys didn't enjoy it as much idk. I think they both did equally good as a team.

Mentioning again that it's not 100% confirmed, but the reason why I think there may be some truth to the comments is because: 1) K-netz have an uncanny sense in rumors, 2) There were many other similar upvoted comments, 3) These comments wouldn't be mostly upvoted without a reason (for example, a troll said that Sua was in the top 4 so he/she got mass downvoted).

 

For both videos, the comment sections are in a sort of uproar.   Many people are stating that they don't understand how the Yezi-Sua team got 4th, so they believe that one of them (most likely Yezi) must have messed up.

 

As for the consolation match, it was denied at first, but I think some of the users on the main UR2 thread stated that they knew a couple Koreans who attended the consolation match.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I seriously can't wait to see tomorrow's episode. You have no idea how much I hope the K-netizens are wrong. 

If the rumors are true though, I feel so bad for the eliminated candidates; they literally had almost no chance against Yezi, who's the most popular and consistent (talent-wise) of the bunch.

 

One thing that's weird though: why drop three people in total? No matter how you look at it, 7 people would be weird for the semi-finals. I think no matter which people were dropped, Mnet would have held the consolation match anyway; they probably did this to create suspense and drama lol.

Yes she did. During the team battle she messed up her lyrics putting her and Sua in 4th so they had to fight to stay and the other girls chose Sua to stay over Yezi. This is understandable because it was Yezi's fault they were in that position, if she didn't mess up they would have been first. But Yezi gets saved in the revival round and comes back. She is vs. Truedy is the semi finals!!!!
