Why is depression so prevalent in the Kpop Fandom?

I think people with depression get so clingy to celebrities and they use them as a source of happiness.

Also, people who spend too much on forums, usually have some insecurities and issues (not necessarily depression but it's one of them)

I honestly think it's too easy for teens and the youth in general to fall into depression these days.

Depressed people are often drawn to introverted hobbies, I would count kpop as one of those. Watching music programmes and variety shows simulates the act of human interaction without the stress of actually enacting it, and places like forums give people a lot more control over the environment in which they socialise.

Honestly, kpop is not a great place for young people who are depressed, as they are so easily influenced by what they see and hear, particularly the emphasis kpop places upon looks concerns me for those people.

I've never once been depressed in my life, you're all some weak motherfuckers

Depression is not only when you are on the verge of suicide.

Idk, I guess kpop helps some people but depresses some other, I can see it both ways.

Thinking about Ladies' Code makes me really sad, but other than that K-Pop makes me happy. It's a hobby of mine and there is just so much to it. There's always a group coming back and that makes me really happy. there are also tons of groups I haven't even listened to yet that I plan on listening to. Just thinking about all of the K-Pop I plan on listening to makes me happy.
