mysunandmoon 2,266 Posted October 10, 2015 Share Posted October 10, 2015 A bit of background: I am a huge B.A.P stan, so my knee jerk reaction when I heard they were coming back was to be very excited and enthusiastic, but now I'm becoming slightly worried. Many fans left over the hiatus and there is no guarantee they will return, especially now that there are a lot more groups out there with a similar style to B.A.P, I want them to do well, and I know dedicated fans like myself will still support them, but do you think there's any chance they might be able to return to their pre-hiatus glory? I think if they have a stellar comeback not only will old fans who left come back, but curious people will also check them out. I think they will be fine if they release good material. If not, then they will have a much harder time returning to their pre-hiatus fame but it's totally possible if they release better music later, do more variety or just happen to fall on good luck. I believe they lose some fans but all these hardships will be able to get more people attention to check out them and become a fan of them. It's a shame because their hiatus came when they had finally really grown their fan base, had a very successful comeback and won music shows etc. with 1004. Their next comeback after that would have probably been even bigger and cemented them sort of like BTS currently. They will have to work hard in restablishing themselves again but it will be tough especially with more hip hop based groups around. It all depends on their comeback. I'm a new fan . . .just started really listening to them a few months ago. I have to say, they are one of the most talented group in KPOP both in rap and vocals! Their MV and live shows have an artistic element to them. . .unlike many of the generic groups that have come out the last 2 to 3 years. It's same music/different group. It's getting redundant. This upcoming month would be tough because there is quite some competetion but by the time they have their comeback competetion would lessen gradually. It also depends on what kind of concept they go for this time in order to attract the general public and others into their music. So something like 1004 would be really perfect. Many fans have 'migrated' to other groups because they were all 'tired' from waiting but people have to note forget that others came by. They haven't released something in a while and knowing them (and Yongguk of course) they will be bringing something awesome! They are finally back and we shall expect something!!
