SCANDAL on last night's episode of "Kanjani no Shiwake ∞â€

featuring the talented drummer RINA!

After fellow drummers Shishido Kavka and 7!!’s Maiko falls out of the competition, Rina advances on to face idol group LinQ’s Takaki Yuumi. Drumming to Perfume’s “Chocolate Discoâ€, Rina gets a full combo with no misses, moving on to the final round against SEKAI NO OWARI’s pianist, Saori. Drumming to a high-level song that is Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s “Fashion Monsterâ€, Rina pulls it off with only 4 misses and a combo of 360, winning the competition by being the celebrity to grace the Taiko challenge, and ending up with the highest score in the programme’s history. Haruna comments that, “It’s the first time we’re seeing such scores. Even when she’s practicing, it’s never this high.â€

Thanks for those numbers. Awanai is doing good, rightfully so. Seems I wasn't the only one who disliked Pin Heel Surfer. It's good to see that the Japanese buyers have some taste. Now I understand why the new single is so much more rock again than Pin Heel. They tried something new and it fall flat on its ass, and I'm glad it did.

First of all, I completely agree with you, Pin Heel Surfer is not one of their best singles imo

 

But the sales numbers from it are also low because it only had one version, unlike Awanai with three versions. But even so, its numbers are still lower if you compare with Scandal singles that also had only one version:

I have a lot but some of my top faves include: kagerou (album mix), playboy part II, harukaze and tokyo skyscraper.

I listened to it 10 times, but the woman and the other guy kept talking and making it hard to hear the song LOL

But from what I got, it looks like a cheerful song and something that I can enjoy.
