"Who in Infinite is your role model", "rank the Infinite members from most to least supportive", "Who in Infinite is your favorite", "Who in Infinite are you closest to". Every time they have to sing or dance to another artist/group, it's always Infinite's Bad and something else. Every time they get introduced they are referred to as "Infinite's little sisters". I don't think this is Woollim's doing entirely because when they debuted you could tell the girls were told to mention Infinite as little as possible. It can't be helped if its the variety show PDs who think talking about Infinite is necessary, I mean it was understandable on Weekly Idol to SOME extent, but it's not just there that it has been happening. I keep saying Lovelyz need a show of their own (Lovelyz Diary doesn't count) because they are always either cut short on time or made to answer completely irrelevant questions. When they were on Yaman TV with Red Velvet you can see the difference when it comes to how well they do on variety. They are better though on their own like Lovelyz Diary. I like them with 8 members though. The choreography is a lot more interesting than with 7. Everyone knows it's easier to make choreographies with an odd number of members and looks more balanced with an odd number of members. As for Jisoo, she is a lot more interesting when it comes to her impersonations and stuff on variety shows so she adds that. But for the group in general, she seems to be one of the calmer and mature members of the group which maybe helps balance out the group and etc. As for them releasing similar sounding songs, didn't Woolim do the same with Infinite? We should admit that Infinite and Lovelyz have their own distinct signature sound. I think that's what Woolim is doing with Lovelyz when it comes to their music. Infinite had 2 minis, 1 single and 1 album and like 2 follow up single before they hit big with Be MIne. I know this thread will soon be filled with hate posts, but I don't care. They only have 2 comebacks as of now, and they are doing their best with their great music. I'm not going to defend Woollim with their concepts, but everything takes time. Gradual progress everytime they comeback. And with Jisoo, the hell I care with these nonsense knetz lmao. With so heavy & tight competition among rookie groups right now It's good decision to stick with their usual concept coz it fitted them the most and their Lovelyz8 album was such a solid gold. I watched their variety show (not include LD) they're entertaining and getting better, watching them return as 8 members really enjoyful to watch as well when they performed at stage.
