ethereal 20,923 Posted October 9, 2015 Share Posted October 9, 2015 today my only friend in the world who goes to college in a different state called me. i was happy because i was feeling extra lonely today and brought all this candy from my campus' convenience store and ate it on the curb. now, i text my friend often and we meet up whenever she comes home for a weekend, so it wasn't like I was waiting to get the call or anything, but i was happy because i really wanted to talk to her. but it turns out she was just calling me so she could be on the phone while she walked alone to a party. needless to say i felt pitiful. we barely talked for 5 minutes and I even lied and said i made a new friend in class, which isn't true. i'm feeling very pathetic rn tbh. All of my friends have gotten themselves jobs at respectable companies while I'm still here procastinating lol. I don't really feel pathetic though, just kinda inferior.
