Is Heechul's leg that bad rn?

Sadly, it's bad enough for him to miss out on promotions. Even though this injury was sustained long ago, the effects it carries will last a lifetime and at this point there isn't much hope for it completely recovering. Heechul's leg has really been bothering him lately, so it's best that he sits this one out and takes care of himself first rlytearpls.png

Ah, I have thought this might be the case during Back Suit, but it seems to deteriorate more and more. His body's youth compensated the condition before, but that only goes so far and often when one hits 30s things like that spiral downwards (I know that from experience unsure.png).

 

This is something I've been wondering for a while now, but I have never heard of him doing any sort of permanent physical therapy. That might have helped somewhat. Though he might have just not mentioned it. The condition of course will worsen whatever he does or doesn't do which is very sad.

Super Junior’s Kim Heechul Talks About His Decision To Sit Out Promotions And Shares His Attitude Towards Haters

Super Junior’s Kim Heechul shared what he thought about while making the decision not to perform on music shows for the group’s latest comeback.

 

On April 13, Kim Heechul appeared as a guest on SBS’s radio show “Kim Young Chul‘s Power FM.â€

 

Kim Heechul talked about his leg injury from a car accident from ten years ago. Ever since “Sorry Sorry,†it has been difficult for him to perform on music shows, and he said that there had been talk since that period of him not performing.

 

He revealed, “I wasn’t going to perform for ‘Black Suit’, but many of the members are away in the army, so I thought I needed to do it this time with them too. My members were being considerate of me, but then I thought I would rather not do it than do it halfway. It’s painful for me, and my fans would be worried.â€

 

He also said, “The viewers of ‘Ask Us Anything’ know that I don’t play physical games. The cast and crew of the show showed consideration for me by telling me, ‘You’re good at talking, so you don’t need to do those things.'â€

 

Kim Heechul mentioned Lee Soo Man, saying, “Lee Soo Man asked if my leg was okay and told me to be careful, and I answered that I’m making a living by talking.â€

The Super Junior member also talked about how people didn’t really like him in the beginning, when he was making his start on variety shows. He confessed, “When I debuted, Hyun Young, Noh Hong Chul, and I were chosen as the three unlikable celebrities. There were people who liked me and didn’t like me. Some people thought I was a ‘fresh character’ while others thought I had no manners.â€

 

When Kim Young Chul asked if he could be counted as an unlikable celebrity as well, Kim Heechul wittily replied, “You’re not an unlikable celebrity. You’re an invisible one.â€

 

Then Kim Heechul added, “At that time, I had to say something to my anti-fans, and I said, ‘I don’t want to tell people who don’t like me to like me. I’m going to work hard for the people who do like me.’ I created more hostility because of that. During that time, Lee Soo Man encouraged me, saying, ‘I have your back, so what are you afraid of?'â€

 

Super Junior recently came back with their repackaged album featuring the title track “Lo Siento.â€

His rap is so good, shame he doesn't perform it on shows, but meh. We know he'll show up for it at concerts and maybe some year end awards shows.

I wish they could just let him sit on a chair in the middle of the stage so we could see him rlytearpls.png

But yes! His rap was my favourite part of Lo Siento, hopefully we can see him perform it at some point.
