The male presenter in the shopping channel really liked Heechul.

 

Heechul has been seriously shining lately. He has always been charismatic, but now it feels like people are just excited to be around him. I think Knowing brother and all the shows he got after it made him an even bigger star in Korea than before.

 

I put my thoughts about behind a spoiler, because I do think too much and I don't want people to get upset,

 

 

I don't know any of the SJ members personally, but I have a feeling Heechul has been feeling the pressure of this comeback partly because some of the SJ members have been struggling professionally. He's extremely loyal to the people he loves and I'm guessing he feels the pressure as the successful member to help and make sure all the members are doing ok.

 

When he broke down and cried, I'm guessing it wasn't just the pain in his leg. As we also learned from Siwon's story about the line drown between them in bed, Heechul used to be very strict about setting boundaries when he was younger. He participated in SuJu activities but also did his own thing separately and kept his distance. It looks like now he is the complete opposite of that. He wanted to take a step back in this comeback but Eunhyuk asked him not to, so he didn't. His post about being insecure and not participating fully in this comeback was immediately contradicted by the label. When they put the handcuffs on him it was very symbolic.

 

Body language wise, Yesung and Donghae are literally leaning on or hugging (or hitting...) him all the time. Partly to get screen time I'm sure, but it also looks like an emotional crutch. 

 

I'm not saying he doesn't love SuJu or that I don't love the band, it's just something I've picked on in their current dynamics. I hope Yesung and Eunhyuk find their own niche to thrive in outside the band. And I hope Heechul isn't overworking himself because he wants to please everybody.
