Kim Heechul Reveals Why He Uses His Preferred Mode Of Transportation - Soompi

Super Junior’s Kim Heechul is undoubtedly one of the most self-aware idols out there.

 

On August 23, the singer was a guest DJ on SBS Power FM’s “2 O’Clock Escape Cultwo Show,†in place of one of the regular DJs, Kim Tae Gyun.

 

During the broadcast, Heechul candidly talks about how his value in the industry is rising due to his regular appearances on JBTC’s “Ask Us Anything,†and that it is important to be even more careful at times like this.

 

He explains, “If you overstep when people say ‘You’re doing well,’ something always happens.â€

DJ Jung Chan Woo says that he seems to be careful about gossip, which the idol affirms.

 

Heechul reveals, “I gave my car to my parents so that gossip about all sorts of things such as drunk driving won’t be created. These days, the taxi system is well-organized, so I just ride KakaoTaxi.†(KakaoTaxi is a mobile taxi service available in South Korea.)

 

He firmly states, “I’m refraining from doing anything that would cause an issue.â€

Model Kim Jin Kyung was surprised when she first met Super Junior member Kim Heechul!

 

Kim Jin Kyung appears on the August 27 episode of “Ask Us Anything†as a guest, and quizzes the cast to see if they can guess what she thought when she first met Kim Heechul. The guys first tease Kim Heechul over the fact that they’ve met outside of the television show, but Kim Heechul explains that he met up with her once to ask her to appear in his music video. Kim Jin Kyung starred in the music video for “Narcissus,†a collaboration by Kim Heechul, Kim Jungmo, and MAMAMOO’s Wheein.

 

Kim Young Chul guesses that Kim Jin Kyung might have thought, “What does this guy do?â€. Kim Heechul guesses with a smile, “I want to have him,†which makes Kim Jin Kyung laugh.

 

The guys keep throwing out guesses like “Is he crazy?â€, “How could he be a celebrity?â€, “Do celebrities walk around looking like that?â€.

 

Kim Jin Kyung encourages them that they’re close but not quite correct. Eventually she reveals that she thought, “Has he always been like this?â€

 

Kim Heechul explains, “I was wearing red flower-print pants, slippers, and I hadn’t showered.†Kim Jin Kyung says that she went to meet him expecting someone who looked like an idol but, “He seemed like an older girl who lived next door. So I wondered, ‘Has he always been like that?'â€

 

“Being on ‘Ask Us Anything’ has made me like this,†jokes Kim Heechul. The pair then make plans to get dinner together soon.

Kim Heechul Reveals He’s Never Rejected A Girl On “Ask Us Anything†- Soompi

On a recent episode of JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything,†the theme of the episode was “A Noona I Know,†and featured special guests Park Mi Sun, Jo Hye Ryun, Solbi, and Jo Jung Min.

 

During the episode, Jo Jung Min introduces herself as “a trot fairy,†and is complimented by Lee Soo Geun and Super Junior’s Kim Heechul. “I thought you were a girl group member,†says Lee Soon Geun. Kim Heechul also compliments her, saying, “You have a nice body.â€

The female guests are then tasked with finding desk partners. Both Jo Jung Min and Park Mi Sun express interest in Kim Heechul as a desk partner. But Kim Heechul does not betray Park Mi Sun, who asks him first, and chooses her as his partner. “I’ve never rejected a girl first,†comments Kim Heechul, causing everyone to react in surprise.

Super Junior's Heechul gives a tip on how to save female celebrities contact numbers in the upcoming broadcast of JTBC "Knowing Brother".

 

For the said episode, the guests are Brown Eyed Girls' Gain and actor Jisoo who appeared as transfer students.

 

When Gain is greeting the members, Kang Ho Dong shows off his friendly connection and reveals that he has a "close relationship" with Gain. On the other hand, Heechul who is a representative of entertainment industry known for his many connections with celebrities also boasts his 7-8 years of close friendship with Gain.

 

Members are curious on how Heechul asks for female celebrities' phone numbers because he's always friends with their guests. Seo Jang Hoon comments, "Heechul is gonna be in big trouble if he loses his phone," in which Heechul replies, "But I save (contacts) using nicknames which only I know," assuring members that it's not going to be a big problem.

After controversy about Kim Heechul’s behavior, where he allegedly snapped and cussed at Min Kyung Hoon on the September 24 broadcast of JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything,†Kim Heechul took to his Instagram to explain what happened.

 

He said, “I was wondering what all the fuss was about on Instagram, and it turns out it is because of an expression I made on ‘Ask Us Anything.'â€

 

“I’m currently abroad, and haven’t been able to watch the show, so this may seem incoherent. I don’t know what it looked like on TV, but while we were filming, there were no problems. As usual, we goofed around with each other,†said Kim Heechul. He explained that in their time off, the atmosphere among the cast members was great, and that even the staff had no idea why there was an issue.

 

Continuing, Kim Heechul said, “I apologize, as everyone can take my expressions in a different way, but I did really want to report all the bulls**t rumors that were going around saying that I dropped my face and said f**k.†Mentioning a past incident with a fan, in which he allegedly cursed at a fan across a fence, he said, “Ever since that fence incident from years ago, I can’t stand rumors like this. We strive for that kind of chemistry on ‘Ask Me Anything,’ so even if we may seem cold to each other on TV, off screen, we’re just like brothers, cursing at each other, drinking together, eating together.â€

 

Min Kyung Hoon, the alleged target of Kim Heechul’s wrath, stepped forward and said it’s all a misunderstanding and that nothing happened. The “Ask Us Anything†PD also explained that the cast was just doing a skit, and that he has thought about releasing the unedited full version of the video to clear up the rumors.

Super Junior′s Heechul Transforms Into Choo Sarang - Mwave

 

 

Super Junior′s Heechul has made a surprise transformation into Choo Sarang.

 

On November 2, JTBC′s Knowing Bros shared a photo through their Instagram with the message, "34 years old Sarang has visited Knowing Bros. Airs this Saturday night at 11PM."

In the revealed photo, Heechul can be seen to look like Choo Sung Hoon′s daughter Choo Sarang. Heechul has on a wig that looks similar to Choo Sarang′s trademark short cut and is wearing a pink shirt while eating a banana.

 

Heechul′s transformed look can be seen on the November 5 episode of JTBC′s Knowing Bros. The guests appearing on the episode will be Choo Sung Hoon and SNSD′s Yuri.

During a recent interview with news outlet Star News on November 17, Super Junior’s Kim Heechul talked about how he believes it’s important to do better in many ways as more people pay attention to him.

 

Already 11 years since his debut with Super Junior in 2005, the idol has made his mark in the industry as both a singer and entertainer. In recent months, he has become even more popular as a cast member of JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything,†but Kim Heechul remains objective and self-aware when looking at his increasing fame.

 

He said that he’s aware that the amount of people who dislike him increases in correlation with the number of fans he has.

 

“I don’t pay attention to the number of people who like or hate me, and I will continue to show my candid nature like I have up until now,†Kim Heechul firmly stated. “I believe this is the basis of how I can bring joy to everyone.â€

 

Meanwhile, Kim Heechul will be releasing a new single with Buzz’s Min Kyung Hoon through SM Station on November 20 at midnight KST.
