sillysone 6,340 Posted October 7, 2015 Share Posted October 7, 2015 Yuri was one of the busiest, if not the busiest member of SNSD this year with plenty of variety shows lined up - Animals, Dating Alone, MAPS, Cool Kiz on the Block, the upcoming show she'll host - The Rallyist.. She's also filming a drama slated to air in January next year. But no one really... shows up for any of this, except for Yurisistables. And even we can't enjoy her activites properly since no one really bothers to sub the shows she's on, the big name Sones also rarely translate or tweet anything Yuri related. Only two episodes of MAPS were subbed, the fan who was doing it couldn't continue due to being busy, and no one else really picked up the show for subbing and probably won't since it ended two months ago.. The Rallyist is starting on October 11th (will be broadcast every Saturday, 10 eps, check for it juseyo) and no one will probably bother to sub that either.. Luckily KBS World translates and uploads all their shows, so Cool Kiz on the Block was subbed, but no one really cared about it either way. The Yuri thread here is dead, thanks to the few kind people who keep it updated though, you guys are the best I must admit I'm one of the lazier fans, but I would be really up for spazzing in the thread, but it's rather difficult with so many things left unsubbed and untranslated.. Last year Yuri didn't even get any gigs and activities, and now that she's getting so much no one's showing up for it. It's just rather sad. Think positive, just because you don't see people here praising her, don't think there are not lot of kfans that she can see (and ifans online) that give her daily doses of praises. That's true, but as an intl fan I would really like to watch the things she films with subs, it's sad that no one bothers to do it.. well most times SNSD stuff will be subbed, you just have to look for it. Basically right now only Stella Lee is doing subs, and there are still many shows unsubbed, especially radio shows, even with all the group. In this case the Yurisistable that was subbing Maps was busy and couldn't keep doing it, and no one else was subbing it, so the show was left unsubbed. On the bright side, having a quiet fandom is better than being too vocal to the point of looking arrogant & boastful. I'm just happy she finally get all the activities she deserve to have after a drought in her career last year Btw, i really enjoyed her guesting in cool kiz, that's definitely the best show she had this year! kardeylann 2,755 Posted October 7, 2015 Share Posted October 7, 2015 yeah I also waiting someone sub's Sunny's radio shows on youtube.. every girl has a big individual fandom.. their fans are more than a lot of girl group visuals but overall Sones are so lazy about subbing issue..they still couldn't finish to sub SNSD Channel even though ıt was a rating monster show...actually we have a Soshified but they are disappointing me about translating girls tv shows... Wasn't she voted the third most popular? Plus she's really well known outside the fandom, and people actually took Seohyun's scenes from Channel Soshi and subbed them so they do care. Seohyun had little activities but she's still very popular and also Sooyoung gets all her shows subbed too....I think Yuri, Sunny, and Hyo are the ones that get neglected. Seohyun has a very large fanbase. As for Sooyoung it's smaller but due to her acting most of her stuff gets subbed anyway, but I don't think Seohyun gets neglected.
