As soon as my 60 days are pass, I will be changing my name to something that professes my love for Jungyeon.

Ah, let me introduce myself!

Prior to falling for Jungyeon, I loved many idols. Siwon, Hara, Suzy, SNSD, 2NE1, F(x), and many many more, I had lots of space in my heart for others. 

 

But I have fallen in love....with Jungyeon, she seduced me, before I knew it, it was too late. She took my heart, and now everything I see pales in comparison to her beauty, her charm, her cute smile, cheeks, beautiful eyes, sexy, eeverythingg....

 

So. I found this thread when stalking Jungyeon's tag. 

My love for her may be out of control 

 

But I can do nothing but allow it to happen. 

 

So, here I am. 

Honestly, I want her to myself, but it is good if other people love her too. but I want her all for me omg

I figured, because during Sixteen she was ranked the most popular Major A member after Ep 5, and she was very popular, plus she has fansites and instagram fan accounts, so I figured. I guess it's like SNSD where Taeyeon is the most popular but in Korea, Yoona is? That makes me relieved. 

 

Technically I want Jungyeon for myself

A twice fan here! I love all of jyp artist, and twice are so sweet, and cute! and jungyeon caught my eye from the start, even though i dont have a bias just yet! but i was really sad to see that jungyeon had such little to no lines at all in the debut song :( so im hoping in their next comeback she'll have way more, because she has a great voice!

She sounds really good! rn they are rookies, but i do hope they work their vocals more, and expanding musically as a group, because their young and its never to late for them! i do remember watching jungyeons video on where she talked about wanting to have a powerful voice like jessiej, so i do hope she'll keep trying, because she has the potential to reach it! 

Jungyeon already has a few fansites! she is quiet popular in korea, but i think once she gets more lines in an MV song, her ifan will grow as well! 

I'm glad she's popular, even though I want her all for me, even if it's just in Korea I feel really relieved that she has fans, she will be well taken care of~ <3 

 

Yeah, I think IFans will totally adore her chic image. To me, she always came off as a really bright, positive, friendly, warm and caring person, I never thought she was chic until I watched her modeling in Sixteen, then she was just badass and cool  

 

You're right, I think the girls with the most vocal potential are Nayeon, Jihyo and Jungyeon. So I hope they will work to improve more because when Seohyun from SNSD debut, she was like the fifth best vocalist and pretty average, but look at her now- she's actually the 2nd best, and she even managed to surpass Jessica. If Seohyun could do it, I am definitely sure Jungyeon and the other girls can do it! 

They aren't too bad right now, I'd say Nayeon/Jihyo are pretty average/solid but Jungyeon is only a bit below them, if she works hard like she does, I feel so positive these girls will be a power vocal trio! <3

Lately I've been kind of upset because it feels like the fandom kind of neglects her. It's always about everyone except for Jungyeon ._. She's really getting slept on. But she's pretty, has an amazing personality and variety sense, and is just as good at vocals as Nayeon. She's actually the most stable and consistent live, especially after listening to her in Me Gustas Tu.

 

 

I hope it's okay for me to rant here since it's her thread but it feels like she's constantly getting the short end. She's pretty enough to pull off the haircut but they keep giving her bad haircuts even though she rocks both, and she prefers long hair and is seriously such a goddess with long hair.

 

She has a great body, imo. Like a model.

 

And she can sing and dance well she's probably one of the most well rounded members.

 

So idk why she gets such little lines, little screen time, and why it's always "omg ___ member!"

But never her, even if she looks AMAZING ._.

I'm sorry if it sounds petty but Jungyeon means a lot to me and I love her so much it frustrates me she isn't getting the lines and recognition she deserves. But I'll keep loving and supporting her so much <3

 

I sent her a package in the mail - a gift - it's a blanket, some of those figurines she likes to build, and some snacks.

No Truer words have been spoken   I've been pushing and pushing for others to notice uri Jeongyeon, to gain her more fans.. We need her to get more attention and hopefully during this comeback, she'll put her vocal talent out there, with more recognition. plus i hope she gets more jobs hehehe Modelling, CFS, or maybe an acting job? PD-nim please!

The thing is there is no reason for her to have no recognition. She's not lacking anything. Which is why she's pretty popular and liked in Korea....but for some reason she still doesn't get as much recognition? Like people notice and like her but it's always about someone else whenever teasers, MVs, stages, photoshoots, etc. Come out, even when Jeongyeon is the one shining (all the girls shine but sometimes some members have better photoshoots or stand out.) 

 

I hope she gets my gift! I know she really loves building those little figurine things, she has like 400 of them in their dorm    in Twice elegant private life she had a giant collection. I hope she can add to it! Plz JYP

I think as soon as she gets to shine vocally, people will notice her.

 

Right now she's kind of being treated like a backup dancer in the group :\ Like...she's in the back almost the ENTIRE time during performances, despite being one of the better dancers (she, Tzuyu and Nayeon are all good dancers even if they aren't the main or lead dancers), and she's pretty which most people recognize, but they aren't showing her full visual potential with the styling they are giving her. 

If anything the styling they give her proves how pretty she is, b/c most idols couldn't look so good in an acorn haircut 

 

And her singing...she literally barely had 1 line in Ooh Ahh and you can't hear her line AT ALL...only member with no "special" or solo part during the MV. Everyone else had something to make them stand out except for Jungyeon. 

 

It's so weird because she's always been one of the more popular members domestically, along with Nayeon, but for some reason she was treated like a back dancer during Ooh Ahh, so it was hard for people who didn't watch Sixteen, to notice her. 

 

 

I hope she gets justice this comeback and long hair next comeback<3

I agree with you. The fact that there is a movie director that noticed her and mentioned her two times made me really happy even if he will not cast her in the end. Actually before when ONCE's asked question like "who do you think will have the best acting potential?", with unbiased opinion i chose her because she gives off an actress vibes and i always have that feeling that she will do well in acting or at least decently but it feels like i'm the only one who feel that..haha..But i was surprised that on her articles during the Lunar Special when she appeared on the shows there were Kzetz who commented that she gives off an actress vibes.

I honestly think Jungyeon will shine so much In the future.

 

For K-Netizens to say she looks like an actress is a huge compliment. Knetz tend to have actress complexes and bash idols for not having visuals to act, yet they said Jungyeon had it

 

On variety shows, even though she's sharing the spotlight with popular idols like Hani, Kahi, etc, the top comments are always about her with 1k+ upvoted or at least a lot of upvotes. She's noticed in Korea a lot, it's just in the fandom and by the company that it feels that she's neglected.

 

But seriously Jungyeon has that it girl quality. She has AMAZING modeling skills. She's one of the best models I have ever encountered In kpop because every pose she does is so professional. And she gives me an actress vibe. When she acted that DOTS parody, the girls were just playing around but it felt like Jungyeon's acting was actually good, imagine if she were acting seriously and not just for fun.

 

I hope she gets noticed by more directors and for her modeling. Because I don't think the company will push her. In fact it feels like JYPE is trying to push Nayeon as the actress, which is fine but I also hope they will eventually give Jungyeon a chance to shine.

Btw I posted in the Lovelyz thread to show my support of their comeback, hoping Lovelyz does well, and a user responded telling me that Jeongyeon was their favorite Twice member! It made me really happy because it seems like a lot of people who don't necessarily Stan Twice still like Jeongyeon. I think that gives hope that she will gain a lot of fans and have one of the strongest fandoms on the future.

 

I agree with the earlier post about Jeongyeon getting "mania" fans rather than just a lot of fans who are only casual. Because she has the personality that draws you in and captured your heart without ever letting go! None of my biases have come close to how much I love Jeongyeon opparrr<33

 

I also started showing Twice to my non-kpop friends, and when I asked who their favorite member was so far, they said "the one with short hair is really cute and gives me good vibes" and their favorite seems to be Jeongyeon

 

Also, did anyone else love how she looked in that sailor uniform during their Me Gustas Tu stage? Her haircut and that uniform made her look like an anime character especially from a Hayao Miyazaki movie!!

yeah we have way too many fan wars and it really is sad because all groups are sweet and talented and good in their own ways. So I was trying to create more good relations since I like Lovelyz as well and don't want there to be so much bad blood since the two will be competing

but tbh, i sometimes think that Jeongyeon is the strong one, she's the on who will protect the girls from any harm (maybe second to Jihyo) i sometimes forget that she's turning 20 (intl age) this year. She still a girl barely an adult.. when i saw her cry, bruh i was emotional.. sigh anyways what im trying to get to is, if she protects the girls, its up to us to protect her too

agreed. Jeongyeon is wise beyond her years and incredibly strong.

 

Her and Jihyo are kind of the backbone of Twice in that they're the ones who are constantly taking care of and watching out for the girls. I mean Jeongyeon is called Twice's official oppar/boyfriend, she is kind of like their mother, both her and Jihyo are so nurturing warm and protective they are also very observant of the group and make sure everyone is always okay.

 

She reminds me of SNSD Hyoyeon but only in that both are the social backbone of the group. They're the member the girls seem to lean on and go to, and I love that about her. Can't believe Jeongyeon is only 3 years older than me she's extremely strong in every sense.
