[AKP] TGM Events 'official explanation of BTS' poorly managed 'Highlight Tour' creates even more uproar

As you might already know, BTS held their North American tour, the 'Highlight Tour' in San Francisco, Houston, Atlanta and Toronto last month. But instead of an amazing experience by all concertgoers, many ARMYwere in an uproar over poor management by the organizers, TGM Events.

 

There were several issues at every concert in all four cities, and TGM Events' Nadia has released a five page 'Statement of Clarification', uploaded in the form of images on their official Facebook page.

 

But this official statement does not appear to be fulfilling its original intention. Concertgoers are saying her explanation is filled with excuses and blaming of others, rather than a proper apology and admitting to a lack of planning and preparation.

honestly tgm is a big mess :ohbi:

they sent an email saying there would be assigned seating just a couple days before the concert so I thought that it didn't matter what time I went but nope...it was basically a free-for-all

Yikes.. They really did blame other parties for every little mishap that happened.

 

 

I wonder if they plan on paying the sound/mic production company??? It's kinda sad they had to go to twitter and make a tweet about needing to be paid..

 

omg.. some fans were offering money to help pay it off

once again, tl;dr for that mess of excuses :unsure: Rather than multiple images uploaded to their facebook, it should've been two sentences. "TGM sincerely apologizes. Please go to (link) to apply for your refund if you are dissatisfied with your BTS Highlight experience."

Just seeing the length of that, it's as if Nadia sat and read every single complaint and came up with an excuse for every single thing we've all said since all of that started just to put the blame anywhere but herself.

we totally didn't do that, so let me just drag the group, the entertainment company, the venues, the vendors, our staff, security AND the fans...let's make sure I didn't leave anyone out. It's just important to note that, despite the fact that we had MULTIPLE LARGE problems in EVERY city BTS visited, none of this is my fault or the fault of my company  :imstupid:

 

Also, who just takes the word of a staff member about venue capacity? Why didn't you connect with the venue owner about that instead of just trusting that information was correct if it sounded incorrect? And how does your numbers person get "under capacity" from 100 people OVER capacity? 

 

This was a train wreck, as were the other events managed by them, I've heard.
