Those most be new fans talking that joined in 2013. Who cares if they said "BAP was on par with EXO in 2012" I mean did they lie??. Everyone knows exo and b.a.p were considered rivals back then among thier fans - the two male groups that made it out alive in the sea of rookies. I should know I stanned B.A.P up until their lawsuit and EXO at the same time. Anyways I wish B.A.P the best, I hope thier new song is amazing, I know it will be. Their last album was so good. Hm.) I think #10 is not going to get their wish, though, considering Secret.... People always say B.A.P was more popular but didn't they just have more hype and was generally more liked? Did B.A.P have higher physical sales or digital sales than exo at one point? Isn't having hype and being liked kind of what popular means. But I'd say b.a.p was doing well and Exo simply wasn't around to do well or not, so it's kind of irrelevant. Physical sales, no, they never sold more than Exo. Digital sales, yes; both Mama and Warrior were pretty much at the top for 2012 boygroup debuts, but No Mercy/Crash/Stop It all did much better than Mama/Warrior. Early next year, One Shot's digital performance was a bit underwhelming (Rain Sound might have had something to do with that, sucked up the momentum) (but it still did better than any other non-Exo 2012 boygroup's 2013 promos), and then Wolf did... quite well. And Growl did really well. And the Badman trifecta bombed (well, Coffee Shop did ok but they didn't promote it at the time it was released).
