sort of get annoyed when i see people saying the drama is boring when they show  a talking scene. makes me wanna ask what drama are they watching. this is a political drama not an action one, ofc it will be mainly talk based :donthinkso:  , but i do enjoy the fighting scenes :ahmagah:

They are probably not used to watching historical dramas but instead are used to watching the ones with 16 episodes or that has romance focused, because this drama is one of the most intense (& make actual sense plot-wise) sageuk in the past few years.

And all the rest are fictional characters created by SFD writers. except for Bang-Ji's teacher. Zhang Sanfeng (a.k.a. Jang Sam-Bong in Korean) is a legendary Chinese martial artist.

Jung Do-Jeon's conversation with Jung Mong-Joo bugs Bang-Won so much, but Bang-Won tries his best not to show how much he cares about it. Jung Do-Jeon orders Bang-Won to take charge of anything Cho-Young and Nameless get involved in, and directs Yeon-Hee to take hold of Hwasadan. Meanwhile, Bang-Won receives a suggestion from Cho-Young who has been detained in a secret place. At last, Bang-Won does a hair up in a topknot and announces he's moving out.

'Six Flying dragons' Yoo Ah-in shows tears to Sin Se-kyeong, "We're over now"

On the 31st episode of SBS' Monday & Tuesday drama, 'Six Flying Dragons', Yi Bang-won (Yoo Ah-in) cried in tears in front of Boon-yi (Sin Se-kyeong).

Yi Bang-won and Boon-yi smiled happily while they were having a snowball fight as if they had gone back to their childhood. However, Yi Bang-won stared crying in tears lying on the snow. After he found out about Jeong Do-jeon (Kim Myeong-min)'s plan on the new nation, Joseon, he became extremely confused and had been trying hard to bear the complicated mixed feelings.

Yi Bang-won said, "Boon, we're over now. I cannot play with you like this any longer". It seemed he realized the path of his destiny would be far different than his previous expectation.

After Yeon-Hyang heard Bang-Won's message from Cho-Young, she goes to see Bang-Won and suggests alliance. Gil Seon-Mi feels urgency when hearing that Jeong-Ya (the old lady) went to meet Bang-Won in person. Meanwhile, the Nameless puts a tail on Yoon-Rang to find out who killed Baek Geun-Soo. Jung Do-Jeon feels difficulty in initiating the land reforms designed by himself, so he burns land registers.

* Jeong-Ya : the Nameless' old lady with weird voice

* Baek Geun-Soo : the Nameless' warrior who used to work in Yi Seong-Gye's Hamju camp but ran away after his identity was revealed by little Boon-Yi. (ep. 1) He had worked for Prince Jeongchang but was killed by Yoon-Rang (ep. 30).

“In the middle of the World†by Shin Yong-Jae (Six Flying Dragons OST Part 5)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rt8ZHVgBYnM

In the middle of the world - by Shin Yong-Jae

When moonlight is shed on dry land,
My beloved hidden in my heart
rides the wind and makes tears rain
to wet my heart again before I know

For I can't call it
For I can't come close to it
the name is carved in my chest

In the middle of this painful world
even if it is hard for me,
I breathe and live a life
and get through the day

Even if the fate stops me
or abandons me
I have to protect

For I can't avoid you
for I can't forget you
my beloved full of my heart

In the middle of this painful world
even if it is hard for me,
I breathe and live a life
and get through the day

Even if the fate stops me
or abandons me
I have to protect

In the middle of the cold pains
Even if I collapse
I'll always stay here

Even if love is too painful for me
your existence makes me breathe,
live a life and get through the day

For the fate not to stop me
not to sway me
my beloved who protects me

Loved the "Joseon winter sonata" on episode 32, I must say that was strong acting showcase by Yoo Ah In. And it continued on episode 33. And yes, finally they kissed. It was not some hot sizzling kiss but a tender kiss. I like it that way.

Episode 31 review (Cr: hancinema)

Bang-won has a bit of a hero complex. Normally when stories portray this as a bad thing, it's in the immediate sense. Like, our would-be hero is so completely dedicated to rescuing people that he completely disregards his own safety in the process, that kind of thing. In Bang-won's case, the problem is shaping up to be long term- our protagonist is so dedicated to saving Korea he can't stand the idea that someone else will do it instead.

In more charitable terms, of course, we can attribute this to Bang-won not being sure that Do-jeon's plan will work. But that's one of the awkward parts of seeing this story take place from several hundred years in the future. We know that, even from the most charitable point of view, King Taejong reign was filled with brutality not too much different from what we're seeing in "Six Flying Dragons" right now, and it wasn't until King Sejong that genuine reform of Goryeo era corruption finally managed to happen.

"Jang Yeong-sil - Drama" normally suffers from comparison to "Six Flying Dragons" although in this case the comparative irony is pretty difficult to ignore. In the former drama King Taejong keeps talking about all the heroic work he went to in order to wipe out Goryeo. He's apparently either oblivious or just plain uncaring of the fact that every time he turns around and the threat of physical force disappears his subordinates just continue doing what they were doing before.

It's sad watching Bang-won in "Six Flying Dragons" start to dip into that same thought process. You've got scenes like the whole frolic in the snow where Bang-won is showing vulnerability, fear, joy, and nearly every other kind of human emotion imaginable. Contrast that with the way Bang-won has to convince himself he's doing the right thing by engaging in tactics that undermine his friends. What's worse, Bang-won has to make deals with people he doesn't necessarily trust.

Most of the rest of the cast doesn't have much to do except react to Bang-won. While that somewhat limits the extent to which "Six Flying Dragons" can be a true ensemble piece, given how difficult it's been to follow the story lately, I'm grateful that at least one specific theme has been clearly identified. It's not a question of what's going to happen, but how. Who's going to pick what side in the upcoming power struggle, and why?

[spoiler Alert ]

In Queen Seondeok, the queen told Lord Bidam “Nobody can call my name any more, because it will become a treasonâ€.  Bidam swore an oath of love to the queen that he would be the one to call her name. They loved each other, but their cruel fate ended tragically. When Bidam was killed in front of the queen, his last word was “Deok-Man-aâ€. It was the queen’s name.

Bang-Won told Boon-Yi “Never call my name†in Ep. 32. Maybe, if the worm in his heart finally swallows him up, I guess, Boon-Yi will call his name no matter what, and it will play a critical role like the scene in Queen Seondeok. I just hope she won’t die like Bidam.

I'm also wondering why Nameless chose female orphans like Cho-Young and Yeon-Hyang as their leader candidates. Is it because its founder (Bidam) served under the queen?

I thought Boon Yi and Ddang Sae's mom was an important person in Nameless but didn't think she would be the leader!

she's just a fictional character yet she's the one among the dragons   :hurr:

Anyway bout this

CZJTAJHVIAAddk.jpg

Totally unexpected Chuk Sa Gwang and Moo Hyul's encounter could be like this...hhm "romantic"? LMAO. I thought they would fight. Moo Hyul's reaction is so cute.

Gotta say the writing of this drama is excellent, sometimes it contains twist, so unpredictable although we already knew what it's written in history. Bravo!!
