It is pretty much blatantly obvious that the group is done for, and I believe three of the four members enforce this known yet denied fact. CL is preparing for her US debut. We don't know how that is going to work out. She could actually end up successful despite popular opinion. If she does, there is a small, almost non-existent chance of her continuing activities with her group mates. And even if she fails, it will most likely be too late to go back anyway. Besides, YG drags her debut more and more, thus making 2ne1 activities too far out of reach. Which brings me to Dara. She is at the age where she does not need 2ne1 anymore and is most likely thinking about bigger things than a less than dependable girl group. We all know Dara is highly praised for her insanely good looks, it won't be long before a man sweeps her off her feet, if it has not already happened yet. She is such a beautiful woman with a beautiful soul. I think the right man would try and make her his wife. She would make an amazing wife, and maybe even an astounding mother. <3 Bom is the same age as Dara, so she probably has the same intentions that Dara does. But let us not ignore the loud, hefty elephant in the room. How does one go from having a career threatening drug scandal, go into hiding afterwards for over a year, and come back like the past never existed? Face it guys, she's never going to have the career she once had. It's over for her. She is too much of an easy target for those to take her seriously as sad as it may sound. But on the bright side, she has a gorgeous soul and would make a wonderful wife and mother, like Dara. I feel bad for Minzy in this saddening situation. She's so young compared to her other members and would have had such a bright future inside a girl group. She is, or should I say, she was the most talented member in the group in both dancing and singing, and now her career in 2ne1 is over. My sympathies lie with her. Hopefully she becomes a successful solo artist in the future because I REFUSE to let a talented young lady like her go to waste. So what can we do? Just accept it. The hope we have for this (I hate to say it) hopeless group must end. I know it's a heart-wrenching thought because 2ne1 were legendary to the kpop girl group scene. And it's tragic that they only got to stick around for five years 2009-2014. They released so many fun, awesome, quality songs that will forever be remembered in kpop fan's hearts, that were fortunate enough to experience the groups glory days. At the end of the day they are all grown women who are going to soon see the true beauty life has to offer, so please don't dwell on this truth for so long. All we have to do is wait for YG to confirm things, no use writing a huge paragraph to why they're never coming back if you have no evidence. Park Joy 19,902 Posted October 1, 2015 Share Posted October 1, 2015 Dara doesn't need the idol life anymore (she's better off as an actress), Bom is in a situation where her career (or voice) can't be recovered, CL is debuting solo in the US and Minzy... I feel bad for her. I do think they will release some songs before disbanding officially, if that ever happens, but it's hard to maintain a group when everyone is in a different place, in their life and literally. I liked 2ne1's discography and I will still appreciate it in the coming future. But to try and expect the group to come back? No, there's really no chance for them to. Your logic is dumb. It's not uncommon. I know that not every woman wants to be married and with children but either way Dara and Bom are done with 2ne1.
