NICE!

People can debate about JYPE's promotion tactics with this group, but I guess the one positive thing is that they've been able to get into all these festivals and stuff, so that's nice.

the only thing matters in the long run....for their target demographic anyways

not this pointless mediaplay crap people seem to think they need

This is really good and all, but I feel like they would earn more recognition if they were on TV shows, on Music shows, variety etc. I don't think people want mediaplay they just want more of an effort to get them out there via other avenues besides performing at festivals.

its more good if JYP give them appearance on public shows too

You guys need to realize that going to music shows could be armful to their career. Look at nflying, they debuted this year and directly went to music shows and got criticized for handsyncing (since they can't play live) and weren't taken seriously. It's a good thing that day6 are going to festivals/doing busking because they gain credibility and can play their music to a larger public.

What would help them is not going to music shows but to Sketchbook

anyway i'm really happy for the boys  :rlytearpls:

Idk why some of you think that promotion tactics=mediaplay- lol. They didnt need mediaplay but at least JYP should put more efforts to showcase them on public shows- who knows if they will become bigger with that

I think promotion wise they're doing good so far, and the radio appearances seem to be helping. Of course music shows give you a bigger audience but its hard to get noticed even on shows unless you've a stable fan following. Also, going by the number of debuts this year so far I feel like getting recognized for their talents is more important for Day6 than going mainstream at the moment.

Bands get hated on by going on music shows so JYP avoids them. You can try to make sense of why they would be there all you want but if the Korean audience doesn't agree, the band is doomed. They're from an idol company and it's JYP's job to make them feel like as much of a real band as possible. They're guaranteed success from behaving like idols but JYP is trying something different in hopes of more success and it seems to be working.

no need to rush for them.... as a band they can have a longer career than idol...

lets enjoy the moment because there are so many fancam due to their busking and club performance. and I'll be very happy if they are known by public because of their music instead of variety appearance
