Kyoko's Dad In Skip Beat Revealed!!!

Kyoko's mom is still working at her old law firm and is trying to work her way up to get promoted to the big HQ at Tokyo. Part of her past is revealed (#1 student in college and graduating class, part of the elite group that passed the bar exam). Aside from this she's been dating someone for 3 months now. Her and her bf go on a dinner date and he asks to go over her house so she can give him a 'special lecture' for the bar exam.       It isn't specifically said but you can get that Kyoko's mom got pregnant afterwards and she said she didn't plan to have a kid.

 

 

Now that this info came out... My theory on why Kyoko's mom was so harsh on her as a kid:

 

 

1st: Her mom, being maybe raised or used to being the perfect student, always pushed her to get the best grades in school. 

2nd: Her pregnancy might've been a set back in getting promoted to Tokyo? Her mom left her (to Tokyo probably?) when she was 6 and she could've moved their way earlier if she wasn't pregnant. 

3rd: She didn't know how to raise a kid with affection so she was always mean.

 

And since Kyoko has no clue about her father he probably either died while her mom was pregnant or when she was still a baby.
