Sylar 521 Posted September 29, 2015 Share Posted September 29, 2015 title says it all i am not close with my parents, aunt, niece, uncle or ''sister'' i don't see her as a siter anymore, so when people ask if i have siblings i say; technically i got one sister i never met my grandparents if you know what i mean father of my mom was still alive when i was younger but never cared to be in my life and thats okay because he was an ass, so i have heard only person im close with is my boyfriend its painful.... before i met my boyfriend, i felt lonely almost 24/7 because of that the struggle is real sometimes for those who are very close with their parents/siblings etc feel lucky and love them every day, seriously Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was close to my mother, but I haven't talked to her in almost two years because of reasons. The relative I was closest to, my grandmother, passed away when I was seven. Basically I could say my relationship with my family (extended family on mom's side included) is great, and that's a relief compared to the other shit I have to deal with. The problem is how my family is devided into two culture (it's a "spirit" we differ as "south" and "north", it's hard to explain tbh). One always stick together and the other just live separately. Don't know my name or my brothers... 10 cousins. They don't greet me, me neither 1 grandfather. Doesn't even know my name or my brothers... Some of them didn't even bother to come and visit my mother at hospital when she had my brother so... I only got along with an aunt that died and my grandmother. But my family is made up of mostly step-relatives(step mom/siblings/cousins) and even though we get together every Sunday and holidays for church and dinner, Im not really close with any of them. I've always been so uncomfortable around them and they all give me a lot of reasons to not like them so I keep a distance away from them. As for my extended blood family we live in different countries now and we dont talk much, but I'm really close with my grandmother, she practically raised me and now we talk just about every week on the phone or skype Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
