A conclusion I never would've thought I'd come to before being dragged down this hell hole. Dramagoddess 2,013 Posted September 14, 2013 Share Posted September 14, 2013 -I learned about Korean Beauty Standards -I learned about the trainee life and that they have to train for years and it's not easy -I learned about the nation titles -I learned about ulzzangs -I learned about circle lenses -I learned about bb creams -I learned that actors/actresses are on top of the food chain while idols are at the bottom -I learned about k-netizens -I learned that as long as you fit the "ideal" look, you don't need much talent I also learned about Korea as a country as well -Why Korea has the highest suicide rate -The pressure is extremely high -Koreans aren't afraid to speak their minds -Koreans are raised to believe being physically beautiful can get you anything, especially jobs -A lot of Koreans want plastic surgery(the big eyes, the sharp v-line, the high nose bridge) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That idols are not what you think they are behind closed doors...but that should be a given. A lot of idols have had some kind of plastic surgery. That Korea has a very old fashioned view on things and that they have a lot of pride for their country. Also that the industry is quite messed up...
