Miley Cyrus' statement about the Wrecking Ball

"Let’s get something straight. You guys don’t understand my music video. So let me explain it to you. I kiss the sledge hammer to show that I secretly still love the pain. I’m naked to show how Liam destroyed me. I emotionally become “naked and stripped†meaning I’m hurt on the inside. The wrecking ball symbolizes a destructive love, hence the song title. So instead of calling me a “slut†or a “whore,†realize I’m trying to tell a story of a love that went wrong and destroyed me emotionally.â€

I don't even care that she was naked, but everything she was doing while naked just gave me a big 'wtf', regardless of her intention behind it. You can show those things without looking like your vagina wants to swallow the chain holding the wrecking ball.

I don't mind the song, though, and actually like it. But I definitely don't have interest in seeing the video again.

I did not get that at all from the MV, I thought the point was that she was trying to break those walls nt that the walls were her...now I'm confused -_- how is someone supposed to get that if there's so much other stuff that is more distracting han the message she is trying to convey?

You know a MV concept flopped if you need to explain the actual meaning behind it  :har: But i'm pretty sure it can be interpreted in many ways. One of them is simply the being naked/ratchet for the sake of being naked/ratchet. It fits her whole image makeover so.
