It is hard to understand...like you are nominate to rookie of the year when you debut, but everybody keep saying they has not debut yet. EXO were not nominated for History(pre debut song like my hype) but for Mama, Akmu, Lee Hi, Cn blue, Winner etc were not nominated for all their predebut songs, so yes it hard to understand. The warm-up song was essentially released to make them a candidate for ROTY and now the albums released in October, November will also count to their score when awards are considered. And I guess the fact that they haven't had their first stage yet makes it even more confusing. There are such things as pre-debut songs that are not considered debuts. Already mentioned, but first that comes to mind for me is History and What Is Love by Exo, which were months before Mama. That being said, IMO they've debuted already The fact that they haven't promoted yet and haven't had a live stage is what makes people confused. Since that is what most consider an official debut for the older groups. But nowadays, with all the new types of publicity companies do for their new groups I think it's safe to consider a group that released a song with an MV as debuted. I thought they debuted but some fans keep insisting that it's predebut song Not predebut, a pre release song. I'm sure that's what fans keep on insisting it is since that is the truth. Anyways it is just the matter few days until their next track is revealed and some of you guys start believing that they have 'officially debuted'. And they do have the biggest chance in winning the MAMA rookie award. And just a reminder; Mama awards have one category for Best New Artist for both female and male groups. That thus means that both female and male groups will be listed under the same category making it one winner for the award and not two separate one for the female and one of the male.
