I'm re-watching the series. Swept through the first season in about two days. So many feels. The second season obviously takes a turn for the more dramatic so I've slowed down. But, hey, we've never had a thread on one of the greatest shows ever so here it is. Which season/generation is your favorite and who is your favorite character. Maxxie was my fave character. I want SM to do a remake of skins and have Kai act as his character. Maxxie/Tony is the worst ship, and I never understood how come people weren't all about Maxxie/Anwar, because that ship was life. I fucking love Jal. She's a Queen. I loved how the writers dealt with her storyline. I nearly cried myself into a coma with the entire Chris thing. The last episode of Skins, Seasons 1 is forever iconic. BLASPHEMER To be fair I also shipped Mazzie and Anwar, but the show was great about having a variety of relationships so no matter who was paired up with who, you could see it working out. My favorite ship is Cook and Naomi but only at the level that they had in the show. They only resorted to kissing because they were in love with their respected partners, but the attraction was there from day one. But I remember really liking the dynamic between Mini and Franky from the 3rd generation (but I didn't really like what the writers eventually ended up doing with them separately). I went through my teenage days watching this and i never watched it again since then. I really liked the first gen, both season 1 and 2 but i also grew attached to the 2nd gen. I was like "did they just legit turn this show into a weird ass music video?" everything about it felt awkward not the second time watching it, just the first because I wasn't expecting it. Syd/Maxxie/Jai/Chris/Anwar are the best, it's a classic imo. The school trip ep is Gen 2 was amazing as well, I loved Cassie. Gen 3 I gave up on tbh. Some of the storylines weren't fully developed but I loved Grace and Rich and their entire relationship. My favorite character though is Cook, and I liked Rise the best from the seventh season. Not interested in Effy and her friends, even though I tried to be. I'm thinking of giving it another try though... one day lmao. Tony in S2 Chris The entire gang My favorite r/ship is easily the one between Sid and Tony. Their bromance was the ultimate level of cuteness.
